Danny's fair face had turned white as Lacey stomped her way towards him. He gave her a nervous smile as he raised his hands up in defeat, "Hey!" He exclaimed weakly. "Lacey, right?"
"What the hell are you doing here? This is my family's property, you creep! Get the hell out! This is the second time I've seen you here!" She lashed out.
"Yeah, uh about that—"
"Shut up," She interjected. Fishing the pockets of her pajama shorts, she took out her phone and started to enter the passcode. Danny's eyes widen in realization, she was going to call the cops on him for trespassing.
He bolted towards her, much to Xiumin's horror. "Wait, don't call the cops!" He gripped her wrist where she held her phone, his other hand was trying to make a grab for it as he tried dodging his head to the side to keep himself safe from Lacey's vicious slapping.
Xiumin's body turned cold and it took all his mental stability to not freeze the boy to death. Instead, he made his way towards the two teenagers, grabbed Danny by the scruff of his shirt, and threw him to ground several feet away from them.
Lacey felt gape at his immense strength. , what kind of workout was he in? As she was stupefied, the angry yeti stomped his way towards the fallen boy. Danny let out little choked groans as he struggled to sit up right. Craning his head to the right, he felt his body freeze at the sight of the angry man making his way towards him.
"No-no! Wai—" Danny's pleas were cut off by Xiumin. With one hand, Xiumin effortlessly picked the injured boy up by the shoulder. Once his hold on him was gone, Danny felt like crying out in pain, his shoulder was left with a cold stinging sensation.
"Don't ing do that to her ever again," He shivered in fear from the man's threatening tone and cowered back at his furious gaze.
Danny nodded his head, his arms weakly raised to show defeat and submission.
"Woah, woah, that's enough fighting," Lacey stepped between. Although it was barely a fight in the first place... Turning back to Danny she glared at him half-heartedly. "I won't call the cops, just explain to me what you're doing here. Again."
"I just wanted to take a look of the house—"
"It's no longer for sale in case you haven't noticed." Lacey said through gritted teeth.
"I'm not interested in buying it, no one is except you people." He flinched back, seeing Xiumin's narrowed eyes. The older man stood behind her, giving him a murderous look at his tone. Lacey's cold glare wasn't any better, it added on to Danny's fear level. Those two were terrifying together.
"And what do you mean by that?" Lacey asked, challenging him to say something offensive.
"Y-your house is haunted, like legit haunted. People keep gettin' killed in there and there are rumors about ghosts too. No one's lived in your house for years because of that. I thought, since it was empty, that I could take a look, but I saw those cars and it was too late for me to get out since you and your boyfriend saw me..." Danny explained, glancing at Xiumin.
"By the way, is that a new boyfriend?"
Lacey, who was too busy recollected the information, was mentally cursing in her head. Did my parents know about these rumors or did they just not care? Oh my god, no wonder the house was sold for $350,000 when it should've costed more!
She shook the thoughts out of her head and quickly tried to think of a lie. "No, he's my tutor." She lied, motioning to Xiumin.
Danny so didn't look like he was buying it. He had a skeptical brow raised as he looked between the angry man and Lacey with a 'really?' look.
"Your tutor." He deadpanned.
"Yeah, for precalculus. He helps me catch up." Lacey lied through her teeth. Xiumin, who had no idea what precalculus was, nodded his head in agreement, going with her lie.
Danny eyed the two weirdly. "Some protective tutor you got there..."
"...Yeah..." Lacey said awkwardly. Clearing she tried to regain her formidable attitude. "Shouldn't you be going now? Or do you want me to call the police instead?"
Danny's eyed widened in panic. His p
