Yayyy! Another prisoner is being freed! Not telling who since you'll find out within this chapter, but if you really wanna know then the hint in the title.
"The brat was saving up his energy!" Eungi hissed to her sister. "That's why he hasn't been active for years!"
Hana glared down at the crystal ball. There was an empty room, with floral and beige wallpaper. That was it. Just the wallpaper, the wooden floors, and the ceiling fan that was spinning around wildly. "Check on the human and her boys, see if they are asleep!" Iseul demanded as she entered the room. Quickly, the scene swirled around and was replaced with other scenes, switching quickly to other inhabitants that were currently sleeping. Isuel nodded in mild satisfaction, they were asleep and were completely oblivious to what was going on in the beige room on the second floor. "She doesn't even have the key yet." Hana informed the elder girl. "Good." Iseul snapped. "She's freeing too much of them already." Lacey stirred in her sleep, she could faintly hear someone urgently talking to her, but she ignored it. "Come on, red, wake up!" "Mmgh." "Seriously? Come on! COCKA-DOODLE-DOOO~" Body spring upwards, she glared at the snickering blonde with a flesh wound on her head. "What the hell do you want?" Didn't ghosts sleep or something? Or did they really have nothing to do but annoy the poor girl? "I was having a really nice dream, you know!" She hissed. A sly look appeared on Penny's face, "Oh I'm sure you did. Who was it about huh? The pretty boy you were sleeping with? Oh, maybe that merman with the nice abs?" Lacey's face turned scarlet. Glaring heatedly at the annoying woman she snapped, "No! I dreamed that I owned the Gucci company…" she grumbled. "Never heard of it," Penny shrugged. "Now get up, you got some trouble brewing on the second floor. Get that hunky cutie that's outside of the hallway to help you." "Xiumin? Wait, what trouble?" Lacey questioned, throwing her duvet off of her. "One of the locked rooms on the second floor. I don't know which, I can't enter either of them, but I got some weird vibes coming from it. Go to the study room, the drawer on the top right, open it." Penny informed her before disappearing into thin air. Lacey sighed out heavily as she slipped out of bed. She walked took the ring of keys from her nightstand and walked to her door. Opening the door, she saw a familiar sight. "Xiumin." The man froze. He was doing a handstand, his body lifted up into the air, leaving his strong arms to handle the rest of his weight. He froze just before he was about to bend his elbows and cursed his luck. Caught again! Dropping to the floor with a thud, he gave her a sheepish smile as he collected the boxes and wrappers again. Lacey shook her head, although she was annoyed with his after midnight habits, there were more important things going on. "You'll clean up later, Penny just informed me about something urgent concerning one of the locked rooms. You wanna help me out?" Her face screamed you better ing help or else, but that didn't matter to Xiumin, he was going to help her no matter what. He nodded his head furiously and quietly walked down the stairs with her. She led him to the study room, already taking out the set of keys from her pockets. Remembering Penny's instructions, she used the keys to try and unlock the drawer on the top right of the writing desk. It took a couple of tries with the keys, but it was finally unlocked. And inside that drawer was another key. It was an oddly shaped pure white key. She picked it up, searched it for any kind of symbol, but was disappointed when she found nothing. But still, it was a key. A key that could probably unlock one of the doors on this floor. Pocketing the ring of keys, she held the white key tightly, afraid of anything happening to it. "Let's g—" Xiumin froze in the middle of the sentence. He was facing the door, blinking at the sight in front of him. Lacey held the key tighter as she snapped her head towards the door. But there was something blocking it. It looked like a zombie, a zombie with a lot of muscle that is. The amount of muscle could compete against Xiumin's. He had the body of a man, but the face of a zombie. It's face was molten, his bluish skin covering parts of his mouth. What scared her were the eyes. He didn't have any. Just empty black sockets where the eyeballs should've been. The zombiefied man stood right in front of the door, like he was guarding it. He didn't move an inch, making her wonder if the thing was dead or not. But when Xiumin grabbed Lacey's hand—he was shaking in fear, did he know what this thing was?—and took a small step back, the man went back to life. Fire burst from his
