Since I feel so damn bad for not updating for a hell of a long time, I gifted you all with a quadruple update. The first one is the chapter Bang Bang.
"A prince never lacks a legitimate reason to break his promise."
-Niccolo Machiavelli
Yifan let out a scoff and made a cruel smirk, "That wimpy prince is in the bathroom crying pathetically."
Lacey frowned deeply at him. This guy's a real arsehole, isn't he? Without a second thought she picked up the shoe he had purposely hit her with and threw it at his face. The first person to laugh was of course, Chanyeol.
"I'll be upstairs comforting Suho, so if you'll excuse me." She said, walking up the stairs and stepping on Yifan's shoeless foot as she did so. She ignored his shouts of rage directed towards her and continued her way to the third floor.
"Suho?" She said gently, giving the bathroom a few soft knocks as she opened it. There, in the bathroom, with his mermaid tail swishing about, was Suho.
Furiously, he wiped his eyes when he saw her. "Y-you're alive!"
"A bullet wound to the shoulder won't kill me." She joked, walking closer to the bathtub. As she got nearer, she noticed that there were pearls floating at the surface of the water. The pearls looked really beautiful, they glistened so nicely in the water. There were even different types and sized too.
Suho knew what she was staring at and chuckled bitterly. "They're nice, huh?"
"Um, yeah, they are." She looked away from the pearls and back to sullen Suho. "What's wrong, Yi— uh, the guys told me that you were crying, why?"
He gave her an incredulous look as if he was asking her, 'are you stupid?'. "Lacey, we—I... I thought you were dying! You were bleeding so much and no one knew what even happened to you and you wanted us to just leave you behind-" He cut himself and breathed deeply. "You gave me a heart attack!"
Lacey didn't know what to say so she simply said, "Oh, I'm sorry."
The incredulous look reappeared. "Sorry?! We thought you were a goner! Lacey, I've only known you for a few days, but... I feel really close to you, alright? You're risking your life to free us... Over the days we've been together I learned to care about you a lot. You're like a... a daughter to me."

Did I just get daughter-zoned? Lacey's expression turned into one of bewilderment. This was much worse than the friend-zone or sister-zone, no she was farther than that. She was in the daughter-zone.
She tried not to splutter, "O-oh."
Suho sniffed again as a tear fell down his face and turned into another beautiful pearl. "Gods I hate it when I cry."
Thinking it had something to do with manly pride, she chided him gently. "It's alright for a man to cry."
He let loose a short laugh, "It's not my pride or anything." He picked up one pearl and showed it to her. "We mer-people cry pearls. The royals cry different kinds of pearls. Black pearls, cassis, blue, any kind. We were really peaceful with the landers so there were little people capturing us for our tears."
Lacey had a feeling that his story was about to be unleashed so she listened on quietly.
"I was a good prince, not to brag, but I really was. I was the only son, but I wasn't a spoiled brat like that accursed Yifan. I excelled in my studies, my training, and my mannerisms. I even chose to fall in love instead of going in an arranged marriage with some stranger. I give poor landers some of my pearls for them to sell. I was a nice, well-known, prince in Exo."
She could see the confusion and anger in his expression as he made the water move the pearls far away from him. She could tell that he was disgusted with the pearls.
"So I don't understand why I would be in the mess." He admitted. "One day I'm in the land, offering the poor my pearls as usual. There was this one woman, that damn woman," This was a first, hearing Suho curse like that. "All she wore was a tattered cloak, and I thought, oh, why don't I help her. I gave her two pearls, but that wasn't enough. She demanded more, but I couldn't bring myself to tears automatically. She got violent and then... she gave me..."
"...Gave you what?" Lacey asked, breaking the silence.
"The evillest smirk I have ever seen. Because I refused to give her any more of my pearls she said she was going to make me cry. After she said that, I felt something hit me and awoke, in an empty cage. I was so alone and scared, I had no idea what that wicked witch was going to do to me."
Lacey tried her best not to give him a pitying look. He was the first one to be taken by Jihee. He must've been terrified, maybe even to the point of crying which was just what Jihee wanted. It pained her to see Suho, the sweet and motherly man, alone and scared in a cage.
"More people filled that cage up and I wasn't alone anymore. I made friends with them, except Yifan of course. It was terrible how she treated us, like we were savages. She would give us only two plates of food, and a bowl of water. Whenever we demanded more she would cackle and tell us to kill each other if we wanted food so badly."
Although Lacey had never met this Jihee person, she felt grateful that she hadn't. She—along with everyone else—was glad that the woman was dead. But what about her descendents? Would they be worse than their ancestor?
"When it was time for our punishments, I was actually relieved because that
