"Because I grew up with this naive expectation of people doing right, I get shocked by every little violation."

"Iseul, did... Did you have something to do with this?" Enugi asked worriedly. She looked at her sister in panic.
Iseul shook her head, her own emotions in haywire. "I didn't make her see any ghosts... If I did, we would've seen it. I didn't see a thing." She admitted.
"Then that means that human actually can see ghosts..." Enugi trailed off.
The ghost gave Lacey one last warning glare before disappearing into thin air. "She's gone," she breathed out. "She's gone..."
"Yeah, she's gone. So it's okay now," Luhan said gently.
Lacey's gaze turned hard as she looked back at the study desk. She walked briskly towards it and tried not to fumble with the keys. "We're opening that drawer."
"But the ghost warned us not to open it." Tao pointed out uneasily. He had a squeamish expression on his face as he watched Lacey start to unlock the drawer. She twisted the key into the keyhole and finally, it clicked.
Everyone turned stiff, waiting to see just what thing the ghost was talking about. Lacey wondered that too, what on earth could've burned her face so badly?
Cautiously, she peeked into the drawer only to end up confused. Lay, who was beside her saw the confusion in her face and asked what was wrong.
She picked up the object in her hands. "It's a lighter." She stated. "It's just some old lighter."
It was a small lighter, barely the size of her palm. It was silver in color and was stained in what looked to be blood. It wasn't completely covered in it, just little speckles here and there.
It was so tiny that it astonished her that such a small thing could cause that much fire damage on one woman's face.
"What's a lighter?" Jongdae asked curiously.
"A source for fire. Usually used to light cigarettes." She explained.
Although Jongdae didn't know what a 'cigarette' was, he didn't ask any further than that. Lacey continued to inspect the object, searching for the symbol.
"I don't see a symbol..." Lacey said, eyebrows furrowed as she turned it upside down.
Then she flicked it open.
"AHHHH!" Violent flames were dangerously close to her face. She flung it away, but the flames didn't stop from there. They blazed on, hitting the wooden floors and growing out in the air.
"Chanyeol!" With a wave of Suho's hand, water appeared out of no where and completely doused the flames. The lighter laid on the floor seemingly harmless, no longer lit ablaze. Lacey glared at the offensive thing. "What the hell?!"
Suho stomped over to the lighter and snatched it up, glaring fiercely at it. "Chanyeol I know you can see me and hear so you better listen well. Lacey is the one. She's the one who could save us so dont you dare try that on her ever again."
Although Suho looked kind of funny scolding an inanimate object, the furious expression on his face refrained her from cracking a grin.
Much to everyone's relief, the lighter stayed still, no fire bursting from it. Suho turned to face Lacey and gave her one of his bright smiles as he handed the lighter to her. She mumbled a thanks before staring down at it. You better apologize after I free you.
She lifted the lighter over her head and threw it on the floor. It was unnatural for something like that to break from a simple fall like that, but it was a cage. A cage that could only be broken by Lacey herself. So when it touched to the floor and completely shattered into itty pieces and littered the wooden flooring.
There was something weird about the black light that appeared. She felt... Hot. Her skin felt heated up for some odd reason. The black light disappeared too quickly and no one fell into her arms either.
She was welcomed by a startling sight. The boy in front of her looked downright furious and he was on fire too. His arms were lit up in flames and his curly light brown hair was lit up too.
What the hell—
"Where is she?!" He demanded in a startlingly deep voice. "Where is that stupid ?! Kang Jihee, show yourself so I can burn your scrawny ! WHERE ARE YOU?!" He stomped around the room, leaving burn marks on the floor.
"SHOW YOURSELF!"
"Chanyeol!" Suho shouted.
"WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"Chanyeol, stop that!" Lay yelled, following after him.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" Chanyeol screamed, his face red in wrath. "WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"Stop shouting, you idiot!" Baekhyun hissed. "Calm—"
"DAMMIT, JIHEE! I'LL BEAT YOU TO DEATH!" Chanyeol was clearly to angry to listen to anyone's orders right now. He stomped everywhere, the study room floor was covered with blackened shoe prints.
"Chanyeol, I swear to all the holy lords I will drown you!" Suho threatened.
Lacey gaped in horror at the floor. It was stained. And it wasn't the kind of stain that she could easily clean away.
It was the permanent kind.
"I'LL FIND YO
