As Lacey screamed bloody murder she felt Luhan's grip on her body tighten in panic. Suddenly she was pulled back and yanked out of bed.
"What is it?! What's wrong?!" Luhan demanded, looking around the room for any threat.
"Woah, calm down red." The woman stood up from her crouched position and raised her hands in a defeating manner. "I ain't gonna do nothin'. I didn't mean to interrupt you and your boyfriend's time."
"He's not my boyfriend!" Lacey protested. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Who are you and what do you want?"
"Lacey is it a ghost? The same one as before?" Luhan asked worriedly.
"No it's a different one—"
BAM!
"Lacey, Luhan, what's going on?!" Jongdae demanded. Everyone piled into the bedroom and looked around for the threat that no one could see. Except for Lacey that is.
"Oh, more boys!" The ghost grinned widely.
Lacey rolled her eyes in annoyance, "You're way older than them."
The ghost shot her a sneering look, "I died at age 28, I ain't that old." She cleared . "Now on to more important matters, my name is—"
"Lacey is it another ghost? Please tell us what's going on!" Suho pleaded with her, unknowingly cutting off the ghost.
The woman groaned, "Can you shut their traps or somethin'? I don't like bein' interrupted."
"She's trying to talk to me right now. It's not the same one as before so I don't think she'll try anything… I think." Lacey trailed off.
"I ain't gonna hurt you or your pretty boys. My name's Penny. Sorry about Izzy by the way, she kinda hates that lighter a lot." Penny said, shrugging mindlessly. "Izzy's got some anger issues, but I'm nice though!" She said brightly.
"I'm Lacey—"
"—I know. We all know." Penny grinned mischievously. "You might not have realized this but we've been watching you guys. It took a while for you to finally become aware of us though, but whatever. At least we know you're sensitive."
"I'm not sensitive!" Lacey said, offended.
"That ain't what I mean, dumb-dumb. Not cry baby sensitive, I mean the aware kind of sensitive. You're sensitive to us, you can see us and you're aware of things." Penny said.
"Lacey, what is she saying to you?" Luhan asked, looking back and forth between her and the empty space she seemed to be talking to.
"Remember that feeling you got when you realized that the prettiest of them all was in the basement? You were aware!" Penny exclaimed.
"Prettiest of them all?!" Lacey spluttered. She jabbed a finger at Luhan, "Him? Pretty?"
Luhan flushed red, "W-w-what?"
"Forget it," Penny sighed. "I just came here to warn you, well, warn him," she pointed a finger at the tall giant, Chanyeol. "but he can't hear or see me."
"Warn him about what?" Lacey asked uneasily, sending a worried glance at the Phoenix's way.
"Izzy's angry. She's gonna be targeting him now so he best be careful. Izzy ain't powerful, but she's still a poltergeist. When she's mad, things go flying and I assure you they'll be aimed for him." Penny explained.
"W-what's a poltergeist?" Lacey asked. The name sounded familiar to her, mainly because it was the title of some horror movie she heard of. She saw the trailer, it was something about a ghost...? Whatever, it's like paranormal activity.
"A ghost that can move objects. In Izzy's case, she's more like that pretty boy you slept with. I heard his story, was only powerful when he was mad, right? Well he was just like Izzy." Penny clarified. "Better keep that other pretty boy safe 'cause Izzy ain't happy about him."
After telling Lacey her warning, Penny finally disappeared.
"Lacey? What's this about a poltergeist?" Lay asked.
Lacey didn't bother to answer him. Her face hardened as she looked over to Chanyeol.
"You're an idiot."
"Lacey, it's already past lunchtime and you still haven't eaten anything today—" For countless times Suho had tried relentlessly to coerce Lacey into eating, or calming down, but nothing could stop the enraged girl.
"Why."
