Find Her
ElementsTiffany came out of her room the next morning, her eyes puffy and red but with a determined look in her eyes. Taeyeon ran up to her in concern.
“Are you okay Fany-ah?” he asked. Tiffany nodded in response.
“Neh I’m fine. We need to go to the school libraries.” Taeyeon blinked in surprise.
“Mwoh? Why?”
“We need to look through the archives. We need to find Yoona’s mother’s grave. The next clue is there.” Taeyeon nodded in understanding.
“I’ll get the others. We’ll leave as soon as we’re packed.” Tiffany nodded and walked to pack her stuff.
As soon as Taeyeon told everyone they started to pack up their things and got ready to leave. The house was silent; no-one was talking to each other, afraid of what to say.
“How are we going to get to the school?” Yuri asked.
“I sent an urgent message to the headmistress. She should send some transports soon so don’t worry.” As soon as she said this there was a ring on the doorbell. Taeyeon opened the door cautiously and found a line of carriages. Sighing in relief she turned back and called the others.
“Guys our ride is here! Let’s go!” She called through the house. There was a thunder of footsteps down the stairs as everyone came downstairs carrying their bags.
“Already? That was quick.” Onew commented.
“I sent the message about an hour or two ago.” Taeyeon replied while picking up her bags. They said goodbye and bowed to Sooyoung’s parents.
“Kamsahabnida for everything you’ve done for us.” Tiffany bowed to both of them.
“You’re welcome. Remember if you have nowhere to go then you are always welcome here.” Tiffany smiled at them.
“Thank you for the kind offer.” She said gratefully. Out of nowhere Sooyoung’s mother hugged her tightly. Tiffany was shocked until she said:
“Siwon was like a son to us. He loved you so much, so we are now your parents. We’ll always be here if you need us.” She whispered. Tiffany’s eyes widened in shock before they filled with tears and she hugged the older lady tightly. After a few moments they separated. Sooyoung’s mother wiped away Tiffany’s tears and stepped back. Tiffany bowed once again before exiting the house and walking to one of the carriages where Onew, Taeyeon, Sooyoung and Key were waiting.
“Come on we should go.” With one final wave to Sooyoung’s parents they set off in the carriages. The carriages started with a bump before riding smoothly throughout the streets.
“Won’t this look weird on the streets? Aren’t we open to attack like this?” Tiffany asked in concern.
“We’ll be fine. The carriages are designed to be impenetrable against all dark spirits and they’re invisible. We’re safe for now.” Taeyeon replied reassuringly. Tiffany nodded and laid her head back on the comfy seats before Taeyeon asked:
“What do you think will happen to Qian?”
“I was talking with Nichkhun about that yesterday. He wants to enrol her in the academy but she doesn’t have any powers.” Key replied.
“Really?” Tiffany asked in surprise. Key nodded.
“Neh, I guess she spent so long in the Dark Forest that it drained her powers completely.”
“Maybe she could help as an assistant in sports. She’s had plenty of experience with weaponry.” Tiffany suggested.
“That’s a good idea. I’ll tell Nichkhun.” Key nodded his head in approval. Tiffany rested her head again and closed her eyes. She tried desperately to gain some sleep after her previous sleepless night. Eventually she managed to fall asleep but her sleep was far from peaceful. She kept having flashes from the past events. She couldn’t bear re-living them again.
Most especially watching Siwon die right in front of her.
“Tiffany! Tiffany wake up!” Sooyoung was sat next to her shaking her shoulders. Tiffany could see the others watching her with anxious expressions.
“Tiffany what happened? You we
