Tiffany was sat in the hospital room next to Siwon’s bed. It was in the early hours of the morning yet he had not awoken and Tiffany refused to leave his side until he did. She hadn’t slept in nearly 24 hours and just sat still next to Siwon’s bed. Her eyes were red and puffy as she kept a close eye on him, making sure he was comfortable.

“Tiffany you really should go to sleep.” One of the nurses said to her. Tiffany shook her head.

“Aniyo it’s my fault he’s like this so I’ll stay until he wakes up.” She said stubbornly. The nurse sighed and walked away leaving them alone again. Tiffany looked at Siwon with sad eyes as she saw the bandage wrapped around his head. Hesitantly she reached out and took his hand; caressing it gently in hers.

“Siwon-ah. Wake up now. I’m sorry for making you like this but please just wake up now,” She pleaded gently. She yawned loudly and covered “Maybe 5 minutes wouldn’t hurt.” She rested her head on Siwon’s bed and fell asleep. The nurse came back to see Tiffany asleep holding Siwon’s hand and smiled gently. She grabbed a blanket and put it over Tiffany to keep her warm.

Hours passed and the room was silent apart from the slight movements of Tiffany adjusting her position; all the time she did not let go of Siwon’s hand. After a while his hand started to twitch and almost immediately Tiffany bolted upright pushing the hair out of her face. She watched as his eyes slowly opened and she reached forward to push the hair out of his face.

“Siwon? Siwon can you hear me?” His eyes opened fully and his gaze swivelled to meet Tiffany’s eyes.

“Tiffany...” He said hoarsely.

“Wait here I’ll get you some water.” She rushed off and filled a glass of water. She rushed back to him and helped him sit up before handing him the water. He gulped it down thirstily.

“Kamsahabnida.” He put the glass down and peered at Tiffany “How long have you been here?”

“Not long. Maybe half an hour.” Tiffany lied. Siwon raised an eyebrow.

“I don’t believe that. Your eyes are so red.” He moved a stray lock out of her face and peered into her eyes. Tiffany turned her face away in embarrassment.

“It’s not been that long since I’ve been here.” She muttered.

“Not true. She’s been here for hours. She didn’t sleep nearly 24 hours.” The nurse walked in with fresh bandages for Siwon’s head. Siwon turned back to her in shock.

“Are you serious? You shouldn’t have done that Tiffany, you need to sleep!” He said sternly.

“How could I Siwon? It’s my fault you’re here!” She argued.

“Mwoh? What do you mean?” Siwon asked in confusion.

“Don’t you remember what happened last night?” Siwon shook his head.

“What happened?” He asked.

“Yes you should explain what happened Tiffany.” Tiffany and Siwon jumped and turned to see the headmistress walking towards them. Tiffany took a deep breath and said:

“Siwon and I were sat in the supply closet after we got locked in there. All of a sudden his eyes turned pale green. I don’t know what it was but he tried to attack me. I raised my arms up to try and defend myself and there was a huge gust of wind. Siwon got thrown back and he hit the door so hard it swung open. When I got to him he was unconscious.” Tiffany’s voice was shaking as she finished. Siwon stared at her in shock. The headmistress just nodded and said:

“Although I do have some questions for you both I think we’ll wait until morning. Come on Soojin let’s leave the two. I think Miss Tiffany can adequately attend to his hea
