CHAPTER 6

This is really hard. Really.

I was sitting in the living room with Chanyeol's parent and with my mom. They came here today to talk about yesterday. Argh! Don't they understand what I was saying yesterday? Jihoon and Jungkook already been shooed from coming into the living and they had to stay in their room because they chosen to do that rather than go outside. Such weirdo brothers.

"Are you okay, Jihye?"

I smiled to them and nodded. "I'm fine. But, I'm sorry for my rude attitude yesterday." I apologized. Even it’s late, but still I want to apologize for being rude. I was really angry with Chanyeol but I realized his parents did nothing wrong to face my rudeness.

"It's alright. We'd understand that you are shocked by this sudden engagement." Abonim answered. "But I promised your dad that you will get married to Chanyeol."

I clenched my fists when my dad was brought up in this topic. He was not here. He left our family early. So, he didn't know what I was going through that made me hated Chanyeol so much. If he knew, he won't let Chanyeol came closer to me. I’m really sure of it.

"I'm sorry. It's really nice to have great parents in law like abonim and omonim. But, I just can't." I told him the truth without the reason was mentioned.

"Why? You two are not getting married on the spot. It'll be months before you two get married. This is only engagement." Omonim looked at you desperately.

I hold Omonim hands tightly. "I know I'm in the age to get married and I want to get married too. But, Chanyeol can't be that person." I looked down.

"Why?" Omonim looked into my eyes. "Chanyeol said you two are best friend. Is it the reason?"

"No." I pulled my hand from her grip and faked a smile. "We used to be best friend before. But, we are nothing now."

"Jihye-ah." Abonim called my name.

"Please. Stop forcing me into this." I closed my eyes tightly. I didn't think I can hold my patience any longer if they keep forcing me. I really have bad-tempered. I tho
