One StepCHAPTER 35
The girls were gathering at the hotel’s lobby and we were already beside the beach! The beach was so pretty. We can see it from the hotel’s lobby.
“I wished we will share the room.” Hani told me when the group of students which handled our trip decided to force us choose a paper which written on that paper. The probability was high that we won’t get the same room with the person we wanted. Actually, I preferred to be alone though.
“2703?” I mumbled slowly my room’s number. “What is yours?”
“2705.” Hani showed me that piece of paper as she made a sad face to me. “We have to separate.” She said sadly.
“It’s fine.” I patted her hand, assuring her. However, my eyes were still wandering around the girls students who were holding onto their paper. Who was going to stay in the same room as me?
At that time, the boys already settled into their own room easily when we were still not satisfied with the leader’s decision.
“Are you still not done yet?” Lay approached me and he was wearing white shirts with black jeans. He looked cool and I realized few girls were checking him out.
“Done.” I smiled to him and I folded my hands, judging his clothes. “You aren’t swimming?”
“I don’t know.” He said as he chuckled and I punched his hand lightly. “What the use coming at here if you aren’t swimming?”
Lay just shrugged as he smiled.
“Jihye-ah.” I turned when I heard Hani’s voice. “I’m going to put my luggage in the room. Are you going?”
I shook my head to her. “Later. You go first.”
I pushed my luggage to the empty space in the corner of the lobby as I dragged Lay to the beach. I let off his hand as I stepped a few steps back from him.
“One…”
“Yah. Yah. Now?” Lay looked at me, widening his eyes. He knew what was I going to do since it was our must game whenever we went trip to the beach back in US.
“Two…” I still keep counting without answering his question.
“Three!”
I chased after him and he quickly ran through the students at the beach. Damn. I admitted that he was really fast. Probably… because he was a guy?
“Yah!” I stopped from running as I was panting, trying to catch my breath while looking up to Lay who wasn’t even effect from the run. Augh. I seriously need to go exercise often. “Lost for me.” I told him- almost like begging.
“No way!” Lay stuck his tongue at me.
“Cruel.” I frowned and I turned, decided to end the game because I knew I can’t make him lose to me. However, my eyes spotted Chen and Hani came out from the lobby. New target locked.
I walked back to the hotel and I ran to Chen when he already near to me. But then, I stopped far bit than him. “Chenchen-ah.” I grinned at
