On the next day, we were discussing about the lyrics on the living room. Seon-yul gave me a lot of inputs for the rap lyrics that I made to match the concept that she created for the new songs. I brought my Macbook because of it.

And suddenly, I stopped at the new lyric that I made two days ago when I missed her. I opened up the lyric and read it one more time. Actually I managed to write some more lines. But I wanted to make the lyric to be a song. And I wanted Seon-yul to make it.

"Seon-yul ssi." I called her.

Seon-yul straightened her body and raised her head. "Hm?"

"Can you make a ballad love song?"

"Of course I can. But what kind of song? Like Oasis? Or On Rainy Days? Or Clenched Tight the Fist?"

I surprised to hear her mentioning our songs. So she already heard our songs before. But it didn’t matter for me. "Anniyo." I said. "Probably something like Junsu sunbae ever sang for the drama. You must be ever heard the song, right?"

“You’re So Beautiful for Scent of A Woman drama?”

I nodded and said, “Yes.”

She pursed her lips. "I made that song."

"Ah..." I understood. "But probably like Clenched Tight the Fist."

"But is this for BEAST?" She asked again.

"Yes."

She tilted her head. "Why?"

I smiled and my lips. "I want to change the mood of our songs. Do you think our songs are kinda mellow lately?"

"But then... If the song is a love ballad, then you won't be able to sing it, right?"

I leaned forward as I rested my elbows on my knees. "Then make a song that only me who can sing it."

She widened her eyes. “Even for the singing part?”

I smirked to her question. “Yes.”

She seemed to be thinking for a while. But then, an understanding look came to her face. "Then can I assume that you wrote the lyric already?"

A lopsided smile came to my face when she asked it. "Yae." I replied her.

She smiled. "Read me the lyric."

I dropped my gaze as I smiled. I looked at the unfinished lyric on my Macbook. “But it’s not finished yet.”

She smiled. “It’s fine. I can help you.”

“Alright.” I agreed then I read the lines that I wrote.

As I read the lines, I noticed that Seon-yul formed a slight smile on her face. So I guessed that she had something on her mind.

“How is it?” I asked her as I finished reading the lines.

“When you said that you wanted a love ballad song like Clenching Tight The Fist, I thought the lyric that you wrote was something softer.”

I propped my chin to my palm. “So?”

“But after you read the lyric, I think it’ll be better if you make it into a sweet love song like IU ssi’s Jansori or probably Mong oppa featuring Lyn sunbaenim or Inyoung unnie’s songs.”

“So, you can make it?”

She nodded her head. “Sure.” She said. “But first…” She paused.

“What?” I asked her since she stopped.

A naughty smile came to her face. “Who do you love?” She asked as she chuckled.

I chuckled because of her naïve question. “I won’t tell you. It’s my own secret.”

She pouted and clicked her tongue. “Aish.” But then she smiled. “But then, we need to complete the verses. Add this to your verse.”

“Okay.”

I looked back to my Macbook and started to type what she said. We started working to complete the lyric. Sometime, her ideas were making me smile because I thought it felt a little bit tacky. But the lines that she made seemed to be fit with mine.

And by the evening, we were done with the full song, including for the music. We were also recording the song. Of course, Seon-yul was the one that sang the singing part.

I read the lyric again as I listened to the full song. Somehow I was feeling proud with the song.
