“What if someone like me fell in love with you, will you give it a chance?” Yuri said it so softly, it was barely a whisper, but Yoona heard it loud and clear.   Yoona’s big doe eyes open wide in surprise. She didn’t expect Yuri to ask her that. If Jessica did not appear, the answer is very obvious, but now that she know that Yuri and Jessica has a history and it seems like Jessica didn’t want it to end, it made Yoona stuck in a bind. She’s actually scared that Yuri might go back to Jessica because they were together for a very long time after all. Yoona is stuck in her own thought that she didn’t realise that she made Yuri wait for her for too long.   “I’m sorry for asking such foolish question. You don’t have to answer that Yoona-shi.” Yuri said and Yoona could hear a hint of sadness in her voice as she chuckle awkwardly to cover the question as a joke. “Uhh I need to get some water.” Yuri was about to get out of bed when Yoona grab her hand and make Yuri look at her.   “I would.” Yoona said. She knows she might get her heart broken if Yuri decide to go back to Jessica, but she doesn’t want to live in regret of not telling someone she likes how she feel, so she decide to take a chance.   “Dae?” Yuri was surprised.   “If it’s with you, then i would give it a chance because the truth is I think I like you.” Yoona confessed.   Yuri couldn’t believe what she just heard. Is she dreaming? Did Yoona just said that she likes her?    ‘What should i do? What should I say?’ Yuri thought by herself.   “Jinja?” ‘Urgg I’m such a turn off. Even I myself wouldn’t date me.’ Yuri mentally facepalm herself.   “Nae.” Yoona said and smile cutely at Yuri.   ‘You idiot!! Just kiss her already.’    Yuri is still froze in her place while Yoona is waiting patiently for her response. Yoona wanted to chuckle at the surprise face Yuri is making. Yuri is the cutest when she was all flustered like this. But she compose herself and wait for Yuri to realise what she just said.   ‘Am i even allow to kiss her? If i kiss her, does it make us a couple now?’ Yuri might be all serious when she’s in her uniform, but when it comes to love, Yuri is no different from the teenager. She’s been dating Jessica, her first love for a decade, but Jessica was the one who made the first move, so she has no idea what she should do.   At the end Yuri decide to go for it. She lean in and put her lips on Yoona’s. And from the way Yoona smile as their lips touch, Yuri knew that she did the right thing.     *     The next day:   Yuri woke up to an empty bed. She get off the bed and walk outside to find Yoona conversing with Sooyoung in the living room. Yuri didn’t move. She just stand there at the door watching her ‘girlfriend’ (yes after their first kiss, Yuri consider Yoona as her girlfriend now). Yoona was discussing with Sooyoung about Yuri’s favourites foods.   “Ahhh… I don’t think I could make any food this morning. The fridge is empty.” Yoona whined cutely.   “Oh right! You guys order take out last night.”   “I’ll run to the store. Lemme know what you want.” Yuri said as she join Yoona and Sooyoung in the kitchen.   “Good morning Yuri-shi!”   “Good morning Yoona.” Yuri stopped using honorific with Yoona and with just this little gesture could make Yoona’s cheek burn bright pink. “Soo! You still here?”   “Morning to you too Yul. Geez… Now that you have Yoona-shi by your side, you don’t need your best friend anymore?”   “Yah… Stop being dramatic. I thought you have to go and visit your parents on the weekend.”   “Of course I will. I’m going after breakfast of course.”    “Geez you and food. Why am I even surprise?”   “Alright alright! I will run to the store. Happy now?” Sooyoung suggested.   “That’s sound great.” Yuri said. She would love to have some alone time with Yoona anyway.   “Yoona-shi! You can write down what you need.”   “Thank you Sooyoung-shi.” Yoona said and start writing everything down on a paper.   “Oh Soo! Can you get me some seaweed?”   “Seaweed? Wae?”   “I want to make seaweed soup. It’s Yoona’s birthday today.”   “Oh Jinja? Yoona-shi it’s your birthday?”   “Dae? Ahhh nae...” Yoona shyly admit.   “Wow… Happy birthday to you Yoona-shi.”   “Thank you Sooyoung-shi.”   “Alright! I’m off to the store now.”   “See you Soo.”   Sooyoung left and now it’s only Yuri and Yoona alone.   Yoona tried to look busy cause she feels shy and she didn’t know how to react after their first kiss last night. Yuri approach the girl who busy clean up the dishes from last night and wrap her arms around Yoona’s waist from behind making Yoona froze and stopped doing what she was doing.   Yuri couldn’t help but smile.   “Happy birthday to you Yoona-ah.” Yuri said and kiss Yoona’s cheek.   Yoona could feel hundreds of butterflies fluttering inside her stomach with every touch from Yuri. She knows that Yuri is a sweet person, but she never thought that Yuri could be this sweet.   “T-thank you Yuri-shi.”   “It’s Yuri.”   “Dae?”   “You can call me Yuri or Yul from now on. It feels closer this way.”   “Okay.” Yoona smile widely. “But how did you know that it’s my birthday today?”   “I saw it on your ID.”   “So you stalked me through my ID?” Yoona playfully said and turn around to face Yuri.   Yuri still didn’t let go and still keep her arms around Yoona.   “Right! I’m your number one stalker Im Yoona-shi. Oh… Umm so uhh are we like umm…”   “What is it?” Yoona asked when Yuri seems struggle to find words.   “Well uh I wanted to ask you umm if we are like girlfriend now?”   “What do you think?” Yoona couldn’t help but tease Yuri because she just look too cute right now.   “Umm After we share our first kiss, I assumed that you are my girlfriend now. But umm let make it official.” Yuri said and get on one knee.   “What are you doing?” Yoona feels embarrassed with Yuri’s action. It feels like Yuri is proposing to her.   “Yoona-ah! I like you. Ani.. I like you so so much. So will you be my girlfriend?” Yuri said and Yoona smile at her and nodded her head cutely.    Yuri smile widely, but before she could get up, Yoona lean down and peek her lips.   “You are too adorable.” Yoona said and laugh.   Yuri stand back up and lean closer to capture the pair of lips that belong to her. Yoona close her eyes letting Yuri kiss her. The kiss was soft and sweet until Yuri tighten her arms around Yoona pressing their body together. Yuri wants no space between them. She’s lost in Im Yoona’s sweetness. Yoona has to hold onto the kitchen counter for support as she could feel her knee weaken with the way Kwon Yuri is kissing her. The kiss was sweet and passionate at the same time and right at that moment Yoona knows that she has found her perfect match.   “I love you.” Yuri said while panting as she rest her forehead on Yoona’s.   “I love you too Yul.” Yoona replied.   They were about to kiss again when they heard the bell ring. They both chuckle and pull away. Since the store is just right in front of Yuri’s building, it doesn’t take long for Sooyoung to come back.   “I’ll get the door.” Yuri said and go to open the door for Sooyoung.   “Tada!!! I’m back. I was fast, wasn’t I?” Sooyoung said proudly.   “You should have taken all the time you need.” Yuri said making Yoona chuckle in the kitchen.   “Mwo ya… why do I sense something weird around here?” Sooyoung look suspicious at Yuri.   “I-I’m going to the bathroom.” Yuri quickly ran away before Sooyoung caught her.    *   Yoona cook most of the meal while Yuri made the seaweed soup and Sooyoung set up the table for them to enjoy their breakfast.   “Wow!!
