“Hey! You ready to go?”   “Yup. Give me a minute.”    “Ok.” Yuri stand at the door way waiting for Yoona to be ready.   “Done! Let’s go Yul.” Yoona said as she was ready to leave, but then Yuri caught her wrist and peck her lips. “Yul! Come on! My parents are home.”   “Oh relax Yoong. They are on the other side of the house.” Yuri just pinch Yoona’s cheek as she walk ahead of the girl.   “You are such a rebel Kwon Yuri.” Yoona said.   “I think it suit you more.” Yuri merong and ran away.   “Dork.” Yoona just follow Yuri downstair.   The two continue their bickering as they walk pass the living room.   “Yoona! Yuri!” Yoona’s mom called bringing them out of their love bubble.   “Oh Omma, Appa Anneyoeng.”   “Hello uncle auntie!” Yuri bow politely at the elder.   “Where are you guys going?” Yoona’s father asked.   “Oh we are just going to our high school reunion. We will come back home early Appa. I promise.”   “Well if you are with Yuri then I won’t be worry.” Mr Im said and give Yuri a warm smile which Yuri replied with a shy smile.   Yuri is known to be Yoona’s BFF since diaper. Yoona’s whole family loves Yuri as one of their own and when Yuri’s parents got divorced, they took her in. They let Yuri live with them and treat her like their own daughter. They support her education, and living expense. Whatever major Yoona took, Yuri would join her.    They are inseparable. Even at school, the two doesn’t really care about other people but only stay in their own bubble. They would mostly hang out in the car when there are break between class.   Yuri is known to be very protective of Yoona. There is no one who could approach Yoona, if Yuri doesn’t approved. Yuri know how to read people well and she surely protect Yoona from people who try to be close with Yoona with bad intention. Since Yoona is a very beautiful girl and came from a very rich family, she easily attract attention. Mr and Mrs Im has always worried about their kids, but when it comes to Yoona, they could feel reassured knowing that Yuri would always be there.   “I will bring her back home safe and sound uncle.” Yuri said.   “Alright! Have fun kids.”   “Thank you Omma.”   The Im fully trust Yuri when it comes to Yoona. They would let them go anywhere as long as they are together because they know how much Yuri loves Yoona and how much Yoona loves Yuri. They make people envious with how close and sincere they are toward each other. Yoona of course is close with all her sibling, but the closeness she has with Yuri is different, because what people didn’t know is that the two are actually in a secret relationship.    Yuri couldn’t feel more lucky to be in love with her best friend. But it wasn’t always fill with sweet and sunshine. They went through a lot before they finally realise that they are actually in love especially Yuri. She got hurt multiple time trying to hide her feeling. She didn’t want to lose that friendship and she always know that Yoona doesn’t swing that way.    It all started when one night, Yuri got drunk. Yuri rarely lose her composure, but that night was Yoona’s birthday and the girl made it her goal to make Kwon Yuri lose her mind for once. Yuri never got drunk because she feels that it’s her responsibility to take care of her best friend and make sure no one would take advantage of her.   *Flashback*   “Come on Yul. For once let yourself go!”   “Who’s going to take care of you if I black out? I can’t.”   “Come on! I even make my parents threw the party at home this year. I want you to enjoy the party. Don’t worry about me! We are home. What could happen?”   ‘A lot! Some guys could try to do something to you while no one’s watching or when you are drunk.’ Yuri thought, but she didn’t say it out loud.   “Come on Yoong! You know how you got whenever you are drunk.”   Yuri nagged. She know that Yoona always black out and don’t remember a thing the next day, so Yuri never want to take a risk.   “Fine! Then let’s have a drink just the two of us in the room. Call?”   “Urggg fine!” Yuri gave up.    Surprisingly Yoona didn’t drink much that night. The party went on, and seems like the friends of her parents won’t leave any time soon.   Yoona began to feel bored, so she took Yuri’s hand and drag her out of the party and go to her room without anyone notice.   “Are you sure, it’s ok to run away like that?” Yuri asked.   “As long as I’m with you, they won’t be worry. Plus my parents might thought that I’m totally wasted and you just tuck me in bed.” Yoona said still holding onto Yuri’s hand as they walk toward her room.   Before they got inside the room, Yoona sneak into Taeyeon’s room to steal some alcohol before going inside her own room. Her sister’s room is right across hers.   “Let’s have our own party!!!” Yoona finally let go of Yuri’s hand as she start dancing while humming to some music.   Yuri chuckle and follow her.   “Lock the door Yul.” Yoona said and Yuri gulped nervously.   “W-w-wae?”   “I don’t want anyone to come in and ruin our BFF bonding time.”   “Oh uhh umm right!” Yuri lock the door and walk toward Yoona who’s busy turning up the music on her MacBook.   “Ok! Now Kwon Yuri Let get you drunk.” Yoona said making Yuri chuckled.   “What’s with you? You make it sound like it’s your lifetime goal to see me all drunk. Am I not fun when I’m not drunk?”   “Yah silly, I didn’t mean it that way. I just want you to relax and let yourself go for once. You are too tense sometimes.” Yoona said and sit down in front of Yuri and holding onto her hands.   “I’m just…”   “You what Yul? Worry about me? Protecting me? But Why? What make you feel so protective of me?”   “What are you getting at Yoong? You are my best friend. Of course I care about you and I would do anything to protect you.”   “Really? That’s it?”   “You are drunk Yoong. Go to sleep.” Yuri tried to avoid going too deep into these kind of conversation with Yoona. She didn’t want to lose herself and say something stupid that might ruin their friendship forever.   “I’m not drunk.” Yoona hold onto Yuri’s hand tighter to make sure that Yuri will not leave. “I didn’t drink that much.”   “Well, I’m a little tired. I will go to bed then. Good night Yoong!”   “No. You are not going anywhere. First answer me!”   “About what?”   “Why are you being so protective of me?”   “I already told you that.”   “Look Yul, If you did all that because my parents took you in, I want you to stop doing it.” Yoona said out of sudden.   “W-why?” Yuri begin to panic when she heard Yoona’s word. “Do you hate it that I am being protective?”   “No I don’t. I just don’t want you to feel like this is the only way for you to pay back to my parents. You know instead of caring so much about me and taking care of me, I want you to take care and think more about yourself.”   “But I do really care about you Yoong. It was never because of your parents. You know how much I love you.”   “You do?”   “Of course I do. You are my one and only best friend.”   “Fine! Then since today is your one and only best friend’s birthday, why don’t you finish this bottle?” Yoona smirk as she hands Yuri the bottle of wine. “And don’t start making excuse about no one taking me to my room or bull . There is just two of us here, so there is no chance in heaven that someone could just burst in here and harm anyone of us.” Yoona said curtly making Yuri gulped.   “Alright! I will drink it.” Yuri gives up and gulp down the wine.   After playing a few card game, the two finish about two bottle of wine by themselves. Yuri turn into a laughing machine.   She wouldn’t stop laughing making Yoona just follow along with her laugh. Yoona never see this side of Yuri before.    “Who knew you could be this cute Kwon Yuri?” Yoona said out of no where making the drunk Yuri look at her straight in the eyes.   “Cute? Me? Really?” Yuri said and started chuckling again.   “Yeah you are really really cute.” Yoona started pinching both side of Yuri’s cheek and without noticing it, their face has become so close, too close.    Yuri chuckle suddenly stopped as she stare dreamily into Yoona big doe eyes. Yoona froze as she was lost in Kwon Yuri’s loving brown orbs.   Yuri gulped hard when her eyes fall on those pair of lips that she always dream of kissing.   “Your eyes are so beautiful Yoong.” Yuri said making Yoona blink cutely. Suddenly Yoona just feel so sober.   “Your ears are so warm Yul. How drunk are you?” Yoona tried to joke.   “I think I’m drunk enough to forget what’s going to happen next.” Yuri said making Yoona confused.   “What’s going to happen next?” Yoona asked innocently.   Yuri answer Yoona by slowly leaning closer and capture those lips just like how she always does in her dream.   Instead of pulling away, Yoona close her eyes and she could feel herself melting with how soft Yuri’s lips is against hers.   *   The next morning:   Yuri woke up with a big head ache. She feels someone’s arms around her body as she slowly open her eyes to meet those beautiful doe eyes staring lovingly at her.   “Wow, this dream is so real.” Yuri said sleepily and return to her sleep. Yoona chuckle at her before kissing her cheek making Yuri’s body froze.   *gasp*   “Yoong?”   “Yes Yul?”   “I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!” Yuri began panic and quickly get out of bed. “Urgg…” But her headache is killing her.   “Come back to bed. You are not feeling well.” Yoona pull Yuri back to bed and the girl couldn’t protest.   “What happen?”   “You really didn’t remember what happen?” Yoona asked and Yuri close her eyes trying to remember what happen.   Once Yuri realise what she did, Yuri blushing hard. All she could remember is that she lean in and kiss Yoona first, but she has no idea what happen after. True is, Yuri fell asleep right away once their lips met.   “I’m sorry Yoong. I didn’t mean to do that.”   “Do what?”   “I-I uhh I shouldn’t have kiss you. I’m really sorry. I uhh I should go.” Yuri tried to wake up again even though her head is killing her, but Yoona’s grab onto her wrist and hold on tight.   “Where are you going Kwon Yuri?”   “Look! I’m so embarrassed right now. I can’t look at you.”   “Then close your eyes.”   “What?” Before Yuri could say anything more, Yoona forcefully pull Yuri into a kiss.     *end of flashback*   And that’s how the two got together.   “Don’t you feel bother when my parents treat you like you are my body guard?” Yoona asked out of sudden making Yuri turn to look at the driver before turning to look at Yoona confused.   “What are you saying?”   “It’s just a random question Yul.”   “Yeah. It’s so random. You know I never feel bother by that.”   “But I do though.” Yoona said making the driver glance at them through the rear view mirror.
