“Oufff…. Finally! This is the last box.”   “Thank you Yul!” Taeyeon said and pat her friend on the shoulder.   “I’m still mad at you for leaving me you know.” Yuri whined.   “Hey you guys!” The apartment door swing open reveal the cheerful Tiffany.   “Hey Fany!”   “Hey baby!” Taeyeon said and kiss Tiffany’s cheek.   “Come on inside! I prepared dinner.” Tiffany said.   “You should be thankful that your girlfriend is a good cook, but I’m still mad at you.” Yuri lift the box up and enter the apartment while Taeyeon just shaking her head at her childish ex-roommate.   “She just won’t stop whining, will she?” Tiffany said and laugh.   “No she won’t. Well until she found a new roommate I guess.” Taeyeon said and follow Yuri inside.   Taeyeon was Yuri’s roommate for more than 5 years so to Yuri, they become like a family. They are very close, so when Taeyeon told Yuri that she will move in with Tiffany, Yuri was so mad at first, but she eventually accept it and let the two have their own happiness.   “How am I going to find a new roommate?” Yuri whined again as they’re having dinner at the table.   “Come on Yul! You will find one in no time. The apartment is so nice and cozy, who wouldn’t want to move in right?” Taeyeon tried to be positive and convince Yuri.   “But I don’t want to live with just anybody.”   “For god sake Yul, We live in the same building. You can visit anytime you know?” Taeyeon said.   “Oh right! I almost forgot.” Tiffany exclaimed making the two best friend look at her curiously. “Well, my cousin just move back from US. She got a job in Seoul and she asked me to find a place for her to stay since she can’t share the apartment with me, so if you don’t mind, she could be your roommate.”   “Really? Ummm Is she hot?” Yuri’s eyes light up in excitement.   “What?” Tiffany was flustered by Yuri’s question.   “I don’t think this is a good idea.” Taeyeon could clearly read Yuri’s mind.   “Come on! I don’t bite. Show me her picture Fany!”   “Well….” Tiffany looks at Taeyeon to see if she should show Yuri the picture.   “Yul, what she wants is a place to stay, not a one night stand.” Taeyeon said.   “Yah! I was just joking. I also have my boundary you see? Have I ever flirt with you when you were my roommate?”   “Well, My cousin doesn’t swing that way. As much as I know, she only date guys.” Tiffany said making Taeyeon shake her head again.   “Ohhhh now that you said that, it makes me want to meet her. Let set up an appointment. Give her my address, she can come by and we could talk.” Yuri loves the challenge.   *   They finished dinner and Yuri bid the couple good bye and go back to her place.   “Are you sure you want your cousin to become Yuri’s roommate?” Taeyeon asked as they were cleaning the dishes.   “Why not? Yuri is a good person and you always said that she is a the best roommate. Why are you so worry anyway?”   “Well you know, Yuri is a good person, but she’s also like to play.”   “I know what you are thinking, but I know my cousin, she’s not the type to play around and plus I already said that she’s not into girl anyway.”   “Yeah, but knowing Yuri…. There’re lots of time she turn straight girl gay you know?”   “Oh come on babe! You know that your best friend only date hot girl right? She’s working with a lot of models, so I don’t think Yoona is her type.”   “Really?” Taeyeon still worried. She loves Yuri, but she also know how Yuri loves to break people’s heart. Ever since she knows the girl, Yuri never once got into a serious relationship. She change girlfriend like changing her sock.   “Yeah I mean, it’s not that she’s not a hot girl. She’s very beautiful, but she’s not Yuri’s type of girl, and she’s very focus with her job at the moment. I just think that if she move in down stair with Yuri, then I could also take care of her.”   “Well if you say so, then I guess it should be fine.”   “Don’t think too much babe! First they have to meet up and see for themselves if they would want to become roommate anyway.”   “You’re right!”   “Come on, let’s finish up and head to bed. I’m so tired. We’ll continue unpack tomorrow.”   “Yeah ok.”   *   Few days later:   *ring ring*   “Hello Unnie!”   “Hey Yoong! I’m sorry I couldn’t pick you up. I was stuck at work. There are some urgent change in my project, so I’m gonna have to stuck here for a while, but I promise to cook you dinner tonight ok?”   “Nae Unnie! Don’t worry about it. I have your address. I will just head there.”   “I’ll send you the code, You can just get inside and make yourself at home ok? Oh and Yuri will come by around noon and talk about the apartment, is that okay for you?”   “Yes sure unnie! Thank you for letting me stay at your place.”   “Don’t be so polite dongseng-ah. I’ll see you this evening then.”   “Nae! Work hard unnie! See you.” Yoona said and hung up.   She took the cab and head toward the address that Tiffany gave her. She told the security ajussi her name and he let her get inside. It’s not hard to find Tiffany’s apartment since there’s only one apartment per floor.   “Found ya!” Yoona said cheerfully and find the code that Tiffany sent her and get inside.    No one is home for the moment. Taeyeon is also at work, so she’s by herself. Yoona left her luggage in the hall way and get inside the living room. She look around the place and feel a little awkward since it’s not her house and she should’t roam around when the owner is not here.   She decide to sit inside the living room and wait. She look at the time and it’s 11:30 am. She still have another 30 minutes before Tiffany’s friend come to talk about the apartment.   Yoona was bored so she walk toward the balcony and open the door to get some fresh air.   It’s been a long time since she came back here. Well actually since her parents split and she follow her mom to US. She still talk to her father, but he got married and she didn’t want to burden him by staying at his place, that’s why she ask Tiffany instead.    Yoona is not a very choosy type of person, so anyplace is fine for her as long as she find a place as soon as possible and hearing Tiffany said that there’s a vacant room just downstair of her place, Yoona was already happy even though she have to share the apartment with someone. She used to live in the dorm, so that’s not a problem for her. Well, she want to settle in town as fast as possible because of her work. She can just find another place once everything is stable.   *ding dong*   Yoona was lost in her thought for a while until the door bell rang bringing her back to reality.   “Oh!” Yoona rush toward the door.   Yuri was waiting till the door swing open revealing the beautiful girl who make Yuri lost her breath for a moment, and this doesn’t happen a lot because with her career, Yuri have seen countless of beautiful and hot girl, but this girl in front of her just give a different vibe.   Yoona greet her with a warm smile and bow lightly.   “Anneyeonghaseyo! I’m Im Yoona. Tiffany unnie’s cousin.” Yoona introduce herself making Yuri came back to her sense.   “Oh, hi! I’m Kwon Yuri. Tiffany’s friend. May I come in?”   “Right! Sorry! Please come in.”   “Fany told me that you might not have lunch yet, so I brought you some food from my house.” Yuri said and Yoona was surprise at how thoughtful this stranger is. Yuri already made a good impression to be her future roommate.   “Oh thank you. That’s very nice of you.”   “You are welcome!” Yuri said and setting food on the kitchen bar for Yoona.   “Umm are you going to eat with me?”   “Aniyo. I already ate before coming here. There you go, enjoy your meal.” Yuri said as she put the kimchi fried rice and miso soup in front of Yoona.   “Thank you.” Yoona didn’t know why but she felt shy with the way Yuri is treating her.   “So umm Tiffany already told you that the apartment is downstair right?”   “Yes. She told me that you were roommate with Taeyeon unnie before she move in here.”   “Yeah. You can go and check out the room once you are done eating.”   “That’s sound great. Thanks.” Yoona smile gratefully and what she didn’t know is that Yuri’s heart actually skip a beat when Yoona smile at her like that.   Yoona finished her food and clean the dishes before follow Yuri back to her apartment.   “Come in!” Yuri open the door and let Yoona in first. “This is the living room. We will be sharing the living room and kitchen. You have your own private bathroom in your bedroom, so…”   “That’s great.”   “I’ll show you your room.” Yuri said and lead Yoona toward the empty bedroom.   Yoona seems to like everything about Yuri’s apartment. The space is big enough, the design is a bit bland for her because everything are in black and white, but Yoona doesn’t mind. The place look neat and Yuri seems like a great roommate.   “You can think about it and let me know if you want to move in. No pressure.” Yuri give Yoona a small smile.   “Umm is it ok if I move in right away?” Yoona said which took Yuri a little by surprise. A good surprise indeed.   “Of course. The room is empty and ready to move in.” Yuri tried not to smile too much cause she didn’t want to creep out her new roommate.   “Great! Can you give me your bank account number? I’ll make the payment right away.”   “No need to rush. I’ll give it to you later tonight. Umm I could help you bring your stuff from Fany’s apartment.”   “That’s very nice of you. Thanks.”   “Don’t mention it. We will be roommate from now on, so this is nothing.” Yuri give Yoona a small wink making the girl blush slightly and turn away to hide it.   Yoona never thought that this woman in front of her could make her blush like that. She never really interested in women in her life, but Kwon Yuri is different. The girl has such attractive aura.   “Yoona?”   “Dae?”   “Shall we go?”   “Oh sure!” Yoona shook away the crazy thought and came back to reality. This is not the time to have a crush on a stranger not to mention how awkward it’s gonna be to have a crush on Yuri when they are going to live together from now on.   *   After bring her luggage to Yuri’s place, Yuri help Yoona settle in and give Yoona new bed sheet and even help her put it on and show Yoona where the laundry room is. She explain everything to Yoona and fill Yoona’s bathroom with everything she needs.   “I feel like I’m inside a hotel. You already have everything ready for me.” Yoona said thankfully.   “Well, I love to buy things in a bunch so I have a lot of it. And you just move back to Korea, so I bet you need all this. You don’t want to run around the grocery store on your first day here, right?”   “Thank you Yuri. I’ll pay you back for all the stuff.”   “Nah. It’s ok. We are roommate. And I love sharing, so don’t worry about it. Umm You must be tired. I will let you rest for now. I have some work to do, so I’m leaving now. I might be late tonight, so maybe I’ll see you tomorrow morning.”   “Oh okay. Have a good day Yuri.”   “Thank you Yoona. Have a good rest!” Yuri smile and close the door of Yoona’s bedroom.   She shook her head and gather her stuff ready to leave for work.   *   Evening: Taeyeon and Tiffany’s apartment:   “So you like the apartment?” Tiffany asked as she set the plate on the table.   “Yes unnie. The place look neat and Yuri seems very nice. I’m glad that I can just move in right away.”   “That’s great. I hope you two will get along well.” Tiffany said.   The door get unlocked and Taeyeon came in.   “Oh hey baby! You’re home.” Tiffany said and walk toward Taeyeon and give her a hug.   Taeyeon greet Tiffany with a kiss on the cheek.   “Hello Taeyeon unnie! Nice to meet you, I’m Yoona. Tiffany unnie’s cousin.”   “Hey Yoona Nice to finally meet you. And you don’t have to be so polite. Just treat me like your Fany unnie okay?”   “Nae unnie.”   “Come sit down. The food is ready.” Tiffany said and drag Taeyeon to sit down beside her.   “So Yoona, did you look around the apartment?” Taeyeon asked.   “Oh Nae unnie I did. I already moved in thank to Yuri’s help.”   “What?” Taeyeon was surprise as she look at Tiffany worriedly.   “Is something wrong unnie?” Yoona asked as she saw the look on Taeyeon’s face.   “Huh? Aniya… I thought you would stay with us a few day before decide to move.”   “Yes that was the plan, but then the apartment was very nice and Yuri also seems very nice and plus she’s your friend, so I was thinking why wait and bother you guys when I can just move in right away, right?”   “So have you and Yuri talk about any rule in the apartment?” Tiffany asked this time.   “Ah about that, not yet. Yuri have to leave for work after helping me out. We will talk about it tomorrow. Wae? Is she someone who is strict about the rule?”   “Haha… No! I think you should be the one who set up the rule. Yuri is a free spirit. She is not very serious about anything as long as you don’t mess up her stuff then it’s fine.” Taeyeon explain.   “Ok. You kind of scared me there a little unnie.”   “Oh right! There is one thing. So ummm I hope you won’t be surprise if you might woke up and saw some stranger in your apartment.”   “Wae?”   “Yuri brought her date home sometimes, so…” Well Yuri brought a lot of dates home, but Yoona will find out by herself.   “I don’t mind.” Yoona said and smile.   “Well then, it’s all good.” Tiffany said.   “Yeah! I’m glad we are neighbour. I don’t feel too lonely come back here.” Yoona said.   “You can come here whenever you want. You can also have breakfast here everyday too. Yuri did that a lot.”   “Thank you unnie.”   After dinner, Yoona help Tiffany clean up and head back to her apartment and get some rest.   “You think they will be okay?” Taeyeon asked as she join Tiffany on their bed.   “Don’t worry babe. Yuri is a nice person and I think Yoona is off limit. They are roommate. If Yuri want to hit on her, she wouldn’t even let Yoona move in. And by the way Yoona is talking about her, it seems that she sincerely nice to Yoona. She didn’t flirt with her at all.”   “Well I guess it should be fine then because Yuri never let any hot girl pass her without flirting with them.”   *   “Yul!”    “Oh hey Hani, what’s up?”   “I had some free time thank to you, we’re able to finish early today.”   “Well..”   “So I was thinking if you want to go out for a drink with me?”   “Sure!” Yuri is not the type to say no to a hot date and this isn’t the first time Hani is flirting with her. After gathering all her stuff, Yuri bring her car and pick Hani up. Hani ask her manager to leave and told him that Yuri will take her home after and since Yuri is a girl, no one would suspect about dating rumour, so he let her go easily.   They went to Yuri’s regular bar. The place is known for the celebrities hang out. With her career, Yuri hang out with a lot of celebrities, so she know a lot of private bars.   “I heard that you date a lot of celebrities, is that true?”   “What? No it’s not.” Yuri chuckle, but she is telling the true. “ I don’t date Hani.” She really doesn’t.    Yuri only do one night stand and she never sleep with anyone twice. Hani actually knows that, and that’s what make her want to change it. She’s attracted to Yuri and she wants to make Yuri hers. She want to be the person to break Yuri’s record of being the only girl who could turn the player Yul into a faithful lover.   “Then what do you do?”   “Well you know, I just want to have fun. Nothing serious.” Yuri said.   “Will you show me your idea of fun?” Hani lean in closer and caress Yuri’s hand making Yuri smirk.   “Let’s go!” Yuri pull Hani up and leave the money on the table before she left.   Normally Yuri would drive to her place and have all the fun, but not tonight. She didn’t know why, but she just drove to the nearest hotel instead.   “Stay here!” Yuri said and go check in before text Hani the room number and met her there.   Even it’s just a one night stand, Yuri always care and respect her date for the night. She would’t want Hani to be in trouble because of her.   Once Hani ring the bell of the hotel room, the door swing open and Hani was quickly pull inside and pin against the door as Yuri waste no time to slam her lips against the girl.   They did had a lot of fun until around 2am. Hani had to leave and get some rest because she has early schedule the next morning.   Yuri drove Hani back to her dorm before going back home. She reach home about 3am and to her surprise, her new roommate is still awake. The light in the living room is still on, but their is no sight of the doe eyes girl. Yuri look around and found Yoona on the balcony. The girl didn’t seem to notice her since she was lost in her thought.   “Yoona?” Yuri called out, but Yoona didn’t answer. Then Yuri realise that Yoona has her AirPods in her ears. She chuckle and approached the girl.   Yuri touch Yoona’s shoulder making her jump in surprise and almost fall of her chair, but Yuri was quick enough to caught her in time.   “Oh my!” Yoona was shock, but she’s more shock that she’s now in Yuri’s embrace.   “Opps sorry to scared you.” Yuri said and help Yoona’s up.   Yoona took off her AirPods and chuckle softly.   “I was listening to the music and didn’t hear you coming in.”   “Why aren’t you sleeping?”   “Jet lag I guess.” Yoona said and look at her watch. “Wow, it’s late. You just finished with your work?”   “Oh no… I went out for a drink with a friend.”   “Ah I see.”    “Umm do you want to have a drink? It might help you go to sleep.” Yuri offered and Yoona thought that maybe it’s not a bad idea.   “Yeah sure!”   The two end up chilling on the balcony while drinking beers.   It feels weird for Yuri. Yoona looks so beautiful, but she doesn’t have the urge to get it on with the girl.   “So Yuri, I talk to Taeyeon and Tiffany unnie at dinner, and they remind me to talk to you about some ground rule.”   “Ground rule?”   “Yeah, like what you don’t like and what I don’t like. Since we will be living together, we should be discussing about it so that we could respect each other.”   “Umm well, I’m not very hard to live with. You can do whatever you want in here, but there is only one thing that I would ask you not to touch.”   “What is it?”   “My cameras.”   “Noted.” Yoona smile at Yuri making her heart skip a beat again. Yuri feels weird every time Yoona make her heart do that.   “Umm so what about you?”   “Well first of all, I want you to know that I don’t mind if you bring your date home.”   “What?”   “Umm Taeyeon unnie kind of told me that you bring you date home often, so I just want you to know that I’m fine with it.”   “Oh ok.”   “And Umm I don’t have a rule, I just want you to know that I work at home a lot, so I might do a lot of extra work at night time, I hope you don’t mind if I move around a lot at night too. I don’t like working in one place. I found it’s more creative to move around.” Yoona said and Yuri chuckle not because it’s weird, but the way Yoona explain is just too cute.   “I know it’s weird, but that’s how I am.” Yoona said and chuckle along with Yuri.   “No no no.. I wasn’t laughing because I found it weird. I think you’re cute.” Yuri blurted out making Yoona blushing once again.  Yoona silently thanking the dim light because if not, Yuri might saw her blushing face and might laugh at her again.   The two silently accompany each other before saying good night and go to bed around 4am.   Yuri looks at the ceiling and smile unconsciously. No matter how many girl she sleep with, Yuri always felt lonely once it’s over. She didn’t know why tonight she felt different. Meeting Yoona today is different. She doesn’t feel lonely anymore. Is it because now that she has a new roommate? Yuri didn’t know, but she likes it.   In the other room, Yoona too has a big smile plastered on her face. Moving to Seoul doesn’t seem so bad after meeting Yuri.   That night the two goes to bed with a smile on their face.   *   The next morning:   Yuri woke up around 10am. She could smell food from inside her room. She wash up quickly and came out only to be in the daze when she was greeted by the girl who seems so focus in cooking in the kitchen.    Yuri never see someone so pretty in her whole life. The girl has no make up on, Yoona has her hair tied up in a messy bun while wearing an oversize hoodie with a short. But the question is, how could someone be pretty in that state?   “Yuri?” Yoona turned to see Yuri frozen in her place.   “Oh hi!” Yuri just want to slap herself for getting caught drooling over her roommate.   “Come sit down, I made you breakfast.”   “Oh? Oh.... Thanks.” Yuri said and sit down at the kitchen bar.   “I made pancake. I hope you like it.”   “I love pancake. This looks amazing.” Yuri said making Yoona smile proudly.”   “Let’s eat.” Yoona said as she sit down next to Yuri.   “Wow… It taste good too.” Yuri sound excited like a kid making Yoona chuckle along with her. “So Yoona?”   “Yes?”   “When do you start working?”   “I had an appointment with a client today, so I’ll be getting to work right away. Wae?”   “Oh where is your appointment?”   “They told me that it’s outside of seoul and sent me the address. I’m not sure where it is, but I will take cab, so…”   “Umm I’m free today. I can drive you there.”   “Oh really?”   “Yeah.”   “But I don’t want to bother you. You came in late last night, you might need your rest.”   “Aniyah… I’m used to it and I’m free all day today, so let me drive you, I wanna get some air too.”   “Alright then, thank you Yuri.”   “You don’t have to thank me all the time. We are roommate, remember?” Yuri give Yoona a big smile which Yoona returned.   “Umm let me buy you lunch today.”   “Oh well, I’m not gonna say no to free food.”   “You can choose the place since I don’t know any good place around here.”   “Haha sure!”   *   One month later:   Yoona and Yuri grew a lot closer during those one month together and even Taeyeon and Tiffany were surprise at how good Yuri took care of Yoona and with the way the two treat each other, those who doesn’t know them might thought that they are a couple.   Yuri didn’t go out with any girl these day. She would join Yoona for dinner at Taeny’s place whenever she finished work early. Ever since Yoona moved in, Yuri never bring girls home.
