Sena was lying in bed when she heard her phone ring, making her stir from her slumber. Her hand shot out from under the blanket and she answered the call.

“Seungyoon, I swear to God if you call me in the morning one more time I’m going to murder you.” Sena said as she poked her head from under the blankets and was blinded from the sunlight pouring in, she decided it was too early to even consider getting out of bed.

“It’s Taehyun.” When Sena heard that she sat up in her bed, throwing her blankets to the side.

“Sorry Taehyun! I should have looked at the caller ID.” Sena smacked the palm of her hand off of her forehead so hard that it was likely that it would leave a mark for a few minutes.

“No problem. I didn’t know that Seungyoon hyung called you that often.” Taehyun said and he was answered with Sena’s awkward chuckle. “Anyways, I was calling to ask if you were feeling better and if you want to go out today.” Taehyun was sitting in a small cafe, waiting for his friends to show up since they had planned to have breakfast together. He arrived earlier and ordered a coffee and a simple plate of eggs and turkey bacon with a side of fruit. As he was talking to Sena on the phone Mino, Seungyoon and Seunghoon showed up and sat down at the table. The young waitress quickly rushed over and with a bright red face and a huge smile, she took the boys orders.

“Yeah, I’m feeling much better. Whenever you want to hang out is good with me.” Sena climbed out of bed and wandered over to the kitchen. She opened her fridge and saw that she had run out of fresh food and the only thing in her fridge was left over from Rome’s.

“Good, how about we meet up in two hours?” Taehyun asked and Sena grunted in agreement as she shoved full of food. He laughed as he heard her choke on the food and then praise God for saving her from ‘death-by-meatball’. “I’ll come pick you up then, okay?”

“Okay~” Sena sang into the phone and Taehyun couldn’t help but smile. His friends had no idea who he was talking to but they liked seeing their friend so happy. Taehyun hung up the phone and placed it on the table, casually ignoring his friends and eating a piece of bacon.

“You’re going out today?” Seunghoon asked, a mischievous look in his eyes as he saw Taehyun purposefully ignoring them. “Who are you going out with~” Seunghoon continued to until Taehyun couldn’t take it anymore.

“Sena….I’m going on a date with Sena.” Taehyun looked at the guys; their jaws were practically hitting the floor. “So where’s Jinwoo hyung?” He tried to change the topic as he sipped his coffee.

“NOT THE POINT! SINCE WHEN HAVE YOU LIKE SENA?!” Seunghoon yelled, startling the other customers in the café. Taehyun embarrassingly apologised to the others in the restaurant and then went back to eating his food.

“I didn’t know you like Sena…” Seungyoon said, leaning back in his car, looking at Taehyun with a weird expression.

“Yeah…well…” Taehyun just shrugged his shoulders. Getting interrogated by his friends was terrible and he just wanted it to end as soon as possible. “Seriously though, where is Jinwoo hyung?” Taehyun looked around the café wondering if he was just wandering out, trying to find them. Mino suddenly stood up from the table, startling all of the guys.

“I’ll go find him.” Mino said briskly before turning and leaving without eating anything.

“Bye Mino hyung…” They all said and then they just sat there silently, trying to figure out why Mino’s mood changed so suddenly. Jinwoo showed up a few minutes saying that he ran into Mino and he showed him the way to the café, but that he decided that he wasn’t hungry and that he was just going to head home. Seungyoon looked uncomfortable during their meal and kept looking at his phone. Taehyun asked for the time and when Seungyoon told him he quickly finished his food and threw some money onto the table.

“Time for my date. Bye hyungs.” Taehyun said his goodbyes and as soon as he was out of the café Seungyoon stood up as well.

“I’m not feeling well. Maybe Sena gave me her fever.” He put some money on the table and quickly left. Seunghoon and Jinwoo looked at each other awkwardly before deciding to leave before people thought they were on a date.

Sena looked at herself in the mirror and sighed. She was wearing a cream colour sweater with a white shirt underneath, faux leather pants paired with heels that had a tiny beige colour bow at the toes.

“This is as good as it’s going to get.” Sena shrugged and she heard a knock on the door. She looked at the clock and figured that Taehyun had just showed up early. While grabbing her pure she opened the door and standing there was Taehyun with a small smile on his face.

“Ready?” He asked and Sena excitedly nodded her head. The two of them left and headed out for the day. They went shopping first, then they saw a movie where Sena hid behind her hands the whole time, then they ate some junk food. While they were at the stand buying the food, the two old women who were running it, couldn’t help but stare at the two of them and it was making Sena uncomfortable.

“You two are a very beautiful couple.” The one old lady said as she handed Taehyun back his change. Taehyun and Sena looked at each other and awkwardly laughed.

“Your children will be gorgeous! They will be better looking that Kim Soohyun and Suzy!” The other woman joined in teasing the two youngsters. Taehyun and Sena were now officially embarrassed and thanked the women for the food before disappearing into the park near Sena’s house where the six of them had played hide and seek earlier in the week.

“Did you have fun?” Taehyun asked as he passed the last of the food to Sena and she graciously accepted it before inhaling it all.

“Yeah I had a lot of fun actually.” Sena scurried over to a garbage can and then came back to Taehyun who was smiling.

“You sound surprised.”  Taehyun and Sena were strolling through the park as the sun began to set. It didn’t feel like it, but the two of them had spent the whole day together.

“Of course I’m surprised! At one point you were choking me in the middle of class! I didn’t think we would be friends, let alone hanging out together all day.” Sena felt her phone vibrating in her pocket but she didn’t want to be rude and interrupt Taehyun when he was about to speak.

“You threw food at the back of Seungyoon hyungs head! Besides, I apologised for that.” Taehyun gently poked the side of Sena’s head and she laughed at him. They didn’t know how, but the two of them made it to the gazebo where they had hidden together.

“I know, I’m just saying that I couldn’t imagine that one day we would be friends.” Sena leaned against the railing around the gazebo and Taehyun leaned beside her.

“Yeah…friends…” He looked around trying to spot someone who was hanging around in the darkness. All day he had this strange feeling that someone had been watching them. He never noticed anyone as he kept an eye out for them. He pegged it on his nerves and tried to ignore it, but now that they were standing alone together, he felt the pair of eyes burning into his skin. “Look, Sena I really…”

“Can you hold on a second? My phone has been vibrating all day and it’s really starting to bother me.” Sena reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone to see a name flash onto the screen. Taehyun reached out and grabbed Sena’s wrist, the sudden movement shocking Sena and she dropped the phone. “Taehyun?” She looked at him and Taehyun’s gentle gaze had turn serious. He pressed her against the railing and crashed his lips onto hers. Sena’s eyes flew wide open at the sudden kiss and she didn’t know what to do. It was all happening so suddenly that Sena froze. A face flashed across Sena’s mind and she felt terribly guilty. She tried tightly closing her eyes to block out the face but then his voice rang through her ears and his soft laughter shook her down to her core. Sena pulled away from the sudden kiss and with her free hand, she slapped Taehyun across the face. Taehyun let go of her wrist and one of his hands came up to touch his burning cheek. He looked at Sena and saw that she had tears in her eyes and she looked terrified and that broke his heart.

“I’m sorry.” Sena muttered before grabbing her phone off of the ground and took off running from the gazebo.

“Sena! WAIT!” Taehyun hated himself as he chased after her but soon Sena fled from the park and was running down the street. He watched her disappear into the crowd and Taehyun let out a large sigh. Someone tapped on his shoulder and Taehyun turned around and was met with a fist flying at his face. Taehyun was punched so hard that he was knocked off his feet and fell onto the ground. “Hyung?! What was that for?” Taehyun said looking up at the older boy who had a fire burning in his eyes.

“Stay away from Sena.” He said through gritted teeth. Taehyun touched his lip and there was a little blood on it and figured that he had a split lip but because he has adrenaline pumping through his veins he could barely feel it.

“Wait..hyung…do you like Sena?” Taehyun asked out of disbelief. The older boy reached down, grabbed Taehyun by the collar of his shirt and forced him to his feet.

“Shut up before I hit you again. I’m going to tell you one more time. Stay away from Sena.” He was standing there threatening Taehyun but his mind was racing with thoughts of Sena and if she was alright.

“So you’re the one who has been following us all day.” Taehyun scoffed and the older boy had to restrain himself from hitting his friend again. It was a little shocking to Taehyun to hear that his friend liked Sena but it was even more shocking that he would actually hit him. Taehyun thought that would never happen.

“Go home.” The boy shoved Taehyun before walking away.

“You’ve changed hyung!” Taehyun yelled out after him and the older boy just ignored him. The boy walked all the way back to his house and headed straight for bed. Every time he blinked he could see Sena smiling with Taehyun. Every time there were a few seconds of silence, her laughter filled his heart. When he laid down in bed with the lights off and his eyes closed, the scene of Taehyun kissing Sena played over and over again in his head. He tossed and turned all night, barely sleeping for a few minutes. This was his personal Hell. Seeing his friend with the girl that he loved was heart breaking and he couldn’t take it anymore. He was reaching the point where he either had to confess his feelings or force himself to move on. Both promised heart break but there was a very very slim chance that he could be happy and erase the nightmarish visions of her with Taehyun from his mind.
