"You already know?" It was all L.Joe could say. He's still stunned by how Nana acts and the fact that she knows the truth. But she's right, he deserves it, to die because he's a murderer.

Nana was shocked when L.Joe suddenly smiled, but deep inside that smile was filled with sadness. "Fine," he said, "kill me. I deserve it since I have killed so many innocent lives. I deserve to die."

Nana bit her pale lower lip, "Go to hell!" and then she finally pulled the trigger with her eyes closed.

When she opened her eyes, her jaw dropped. No sound, no bullet. She shot no one.

"Nana-shi..."

She cried again, sobbed painfully and then she dropped the gun on the floor. She took the wrong gun, she should have checked it first.

This can't be, there should have been a bullet, and I could have killed him! She thought.

"GO AWAY!" she yelled at him and rushed back in her house. L.Joe wanted to follow inside but then he heard Sooman's voice inside, it would get worse if Sooman gets in the way.

~2 days later~

After spending her weekend alone, ignoring Chunji and L.Joe's calls, she finally came back to her old self when Chunji went to visit her.

He handed her a gift box, "it's for you."

"What's this?" she asked and accepted the gift.

"It's for the Prom." He replied.

"Prom?" Thinking about it, Nana remembered that tomorrow night would be their J.S. Prom night. She almost forgot about it.

"You forgot didn't you?" Chunji giggled, "that's why I bought this dress for you. I'm not sure if it's your type but I really tried my best."

Nana smiled instantly, then she opened the gift and looked at the beautiful dress Chunji pick for her.

She was dazzled.

"So, do you like it?" Chunji asked.

"It's cute." She laughed, "did you really choose this by yourself?"

"Honestly," He started laughing, "I didn't. My mother chose it because she said I have no sense of fashion, but I paid it! You still like it, right?" 

"Of course I do. Thank you, Chunji-yah," she said sincerely and hugged him in a brief. After that, she put the dress back to the box and placed it on top of the table.

"Tell me, is there something wrong between you and L.Joe?"

"Byunghun-ah?" she looked at Chunji, "no. Everything's fine."

"How about that other night? You went back so late."

"We were still together. Just chatting," she turned her back and went to the kitchen. "I'll make tea for you!" she said. Chunji followed inside the kitchen to continue the conversation. 

"Did you two have a fight? Just tell me, he's really dead to me if he tried to hurt you." He said.

"Nothing, really, Chunji-yah," she replied while making the tea.

"If nothing's wrong," he leaned closer to her when she stared at him annoyed, their nose only inches apart. "Then can you be my dance tomorrow night?" he asked.

~~~The Following Night at School J.S. Prom~~~

L.Joe was first to arrive in the Prom. He was standing upstairs, watching the others dancing, laughing or chatting. He came only to see her and because he knew his father's got a plan.

[Flashbacks]

"Tonight I'm going to finish her off, don't try stopping me." Taesuk said.

"You know I'm going to stop you, then why did you still told me about this?" L.Joe asked, annoyed.

Taesuk laughed, "Because you came back here. That only means you need something from me, right? And I think that something, has to do with that girl?"

"Yes. I came here to tell you to get your hands off of her. And I wanted to ask you, how did she know that I killed her brother?"

"Not sure. Maybe because I was born talkative," Taesuk replied fiercely, "but even so, I'm not getting my hands off of her. I will kill her, then her parents and my revenge is done. I mean, Our revenge will be."

[End of Flashbacks]

He stopped recalling them when he saw Nana stepped inside in her little black dress but along with her is Chunji. She was holding into his arms, smiling and enjoying the Prom. For instance, L.Joe's eyes grew darker and even darker when Chunji and Nana began dancing with their hands touching each other.

L.Joe's teeth clenched, he wanted to be in Chunji's position but that would be just ... Selfish.

Just calm down, Lee Byunghun. He said to himself. If you act rashly, she'll hate you even more. You're only here to watch over her, to protect her.

He took a step back, he turned around. He prayed not to get jealous, it's a bad thing. But what can he do? He couldn't stop his body from doing what he shouldn't do. He went downstairs, joined the crowd and watched the two dancing.

"Chunji-yah," L.Joe called Chunji.

For a moment, Chunji turned to L.Joe. He was surprised to see him. He stopped dancing and so did Nana. Both of them looked at L.Joe.

L.Joe smiled brightly at them as if nothing happened between him and Nana. "Hey, can I steal your dance for a while?" he asked.

"Uhh, sure." Chunji agreed. He smiled at Nana before leaving.

Nana rolled her eyes at L.Joe, "why did you tell him that? We were still dancing?"

"Do you hate me that much? What? Are you going to tell everybody that you hate me?" He asked.

"Yes! I will!" she said out loud.

L.Joe walked faster towards her and covered with his house, "save it later. I need to tell you something."

He held her hand against his, and placed her other hand around his waist and moved her closer to him.

"You have to leave this place," he whispered into her ears.

"Tch. Why would I do that? I want to enjoy this Prom, you better leave before I tell everyone you're a murderer."

L.Joe rolled his eyes and then his eyes slid at the man who just came inside the school.

Lee Tae Suk.

"He's here," he whispered. "We need to get away from here," he said and ran upstairs with Nana. Chunji saw them running away, he wondered what was up to them. Taesuk, being a wise man actually saw them. He followed them upstairs and when he was finally in the 2nd floor, he pulled out his gun and searched for the two.

"Show yourself, I know you two are hiding somewhere." He said in creepy voice.

"LET ME GO!" Nana yelled at L.Joe because he was holding her too tight, she kicked his stomach and ran away from him. Unfortunately, she encountered Taesuk, giving her the creepiest smile.

"So, you've been there hiding, huh?" He asked, "let me guess, my son's been watching over you? How sweet. Unfortunately, he can't anymore because you're going to die tonight." He raised his gun and pointed it at her. She was scared, she couldn't move not even an inch. She closed her eyes.

He pulled the trigger and everyone heard that gunshot.

The next thing she saw when she opened her eyes, she could see L.Joe's back on her.

His body dropped to the floor and blood splattered around his body.

Her eyes fluttered open and close, trying to see if it's real or not. She could only bend over and watch him.

Taesuk stood still, the fear was inside his eyes but he was pretending to act cool.

"I knew you'd block again," he said while grinning, "that's what you get, son."

When Nana looked up, Taesuk already disappeared in a glimpse.

She was left there, stunned with L.Joe's bloody body in front of her.

She threw her hand to his, shaking roughly as she looked at L.Joe with his skin on a pale shade.

"We need to leave," he still managed to say.
