Yoon had no chance to answer because the truck had  come to an abrupt stop. The masked men and women unloaded from the back. Jaseun pulled her along, leading her to wherever the others were heading.   Yoon silently looked around, looking over the tall trees that were closely bunched together. The breeze was colder here, and the thin night dress she donned before sleep did notiong to prevent the cold from seeping into her pores.   “Hold on tight.” Jaesun said in the dark. Confused, Yoon looked to the side but then hands gripped behind her thighs and she was yanked on someone’s back and they suddenly sprang up the trees. Yoon clutched onto Jaesun’s neck, as he laughed from the rigidness of her grip on his neck.   Yoon hurriedly climbed off Jaseun when he landed on a metal platform. She sighed in relief feeling the hardness of the material beneath her feet. “Where are we?” She asked, peering over the edge only to see a cluster of wild flowers and leaves but also some thin bridges that lead to another platform constructed of finely stacked branches.   “My home.” Jaesun replied.   “In the trees?” Yoon looked bewildered. Yes, wolves loved nature, but they were safer on the ground.   “Why not?” Jaesun shrugged, “It has protected us for many years.”   Yoon shook her head, looking at the cube structures built in the trees. Those were probably the houses. Some had hammocks near the front of the house, and she caught some children balancing themselves on the branches without fear. They wer emore than 3 storeys high, yet that piece of information failed to register in their minds.   The sight was eccentric. Wolves were ground animals, how could they survive in the trees? She’s never heard of such before.    Yoon looked back at Jaesun who was already looking back at her curiously. She narrowed her gaze, and he quickly blinked, coughing under his fist, “I should show you to my father and mother.” He muttered under his breath, grabbing her hand forefully.   “I need to go home.” Yoon shook her head, swatting his hand away.   Jaesun furrowed his brows, “No, you can’t. Not anymore. It’s too dangerous. If you go now, more dangerous Rogues would get you." Ah,  Rogues. Yoon knew all about the Rogues. They were the outcasts of the wolves. They lived guideless lives, and dabaunchered on things that were considered too immoral to do. Yet, she found herself planted right at the centre of the Rogues. She needed to leave. All her protective instincts she was taught whilst young were exhorting her to leave, but there was another part of her that refused to leave- maybe a stupid part.   “It’s doesn’t matter.” Yoon treaded to the edge of the platform. She contemplated jumping down, but a growl stopped her. She snapped her head back to Jaesun who gave her a disapproving look. “Come for now. We’ll ask my father if he’d allow you permission back home.”   *Better than nothing.* Yoon nodded and followed Jaseun.   They crossed a few unsteady bridges that led to various platforms and finally, they stopped in front of one the biggest buildings built in the trees. It was bigger than the other cube houses. There were even 2 pillars near the front of the door. Jaesun walked inside first, and Yoon hesitantly followed.
