Chapter 10
Hold Me Tight [An Heirs Spinoff] EDITINGThe next thing I knew hours had passed and Young Do's mom said that we should be getting home in case my family was worried.
My parents.
More then worried they would be mad, and disappointed.
Having so much fun here I forgot all about the lunch I was supposed to be having with mom, Mrs. Choi and her son Taekyung. Even though I hated to disappoint my parents I couldn't regret not showing up. That lunch would have been completely different than the laid back and enjoyable atmosphere here.
Before we were ready to leave Young Do went to the bathroom leaving me alone with his mother. She looked at me smiling with a loving look on her face. I could do nothing but smile back. "Young Do is closed off. He doesn't show what he is feeling easily. That's because his father has always been to tough on him." she stopped for a moment seeming to choose her words carefully. "But I've never seen him the way he was today. The way he looks at you. I don't even think he realizes how often he turned to watch and how long he stared."
I swallowed hard. Did he really? I didn't notice. But maybe I was too distracted with talking to his mom. However i dont want to get my hopes up.
"Just give him time. It won't be easy. He has too much of his father in him. But don't give up. I think you would be good for him."
I smiled. Not knowing what to say. Or even if an answer was nessecary.
"Lets go." Young Do said having came back from the bathroom. "Your dad probably has the presidents bodyguards out looking for you."
I rolled my eyes and pushed him. "Oh your so funny."
His mom followed us outside to his motorbike. "Drive carefully. The roads will be really slippery after all the rain."
"I know mom." He sad hugging her. Once she let go of her son she hugged me tight too. "I hope I will see you again Soo Ha Yeon."
"Me too." I replied earnestly.
As we rode back to zeus hotel all the anxiety and worry I was trying to keep at bay was rising. I knew that I was going to be in so much trouble. I didn't dare check my phone for the many missed calls texts and voice mails I knew would be pilled up. My phone was on silent the whole time I was with Young Do and I hadn't thought to check it. We came to a stop outside the hotel doors and I slowly got off. I however didn't make a move to enter into the hotel. Young Do got off the bike handing the keys to the valet and walked off towards the door. When he noticed I wasn't following he turned. "Aren't you coming?"
"Yeah. Just a minute."
I stood there taking deep breaths. I wasn't ready to face them. I was always perfect to them. There one and only child who was always obedient. Who could do no wrong. I didn't know how they would react to my unconscious act of rebellion. And how I would react to their dissapintment with me.
"Are you really scared of how your parents are going to react? You haven't even been gone long."
I nodded. "But its not just that. I was supposed to go with mom to this lunch today. I was supposed to meet some congressm
