The strike of lightning wake him up

He abruptly turn to his side when he realize he is alone on the bed

He rubs his eyes gently trying to open it to search for someone

He snuggle into the bed again when he heard the faint sound of water in the bathroom

He inhaled her scent that is still lingering on the bed…

He gently caress her side of the bed imagining she is there with him

The rain is still pouring heavily outside

He pulls the blanket closely to his chin as he missed her warmth

He smirks faintly as he heard the door is being open and closed again.

She approach the bed cautiously avoiding any accident

The sudden lightning struck helps to dispel the gloom bedroom

She can see her man sleeping as calm as child in dreamless slumber

She went on the bed gracefully afraid he will wake up.

She properly laid herself beside him and turns to face him.

He wraps his arms around her waist and draws her closer.

She obediently snuggles closer to him and embraces him lovingly.

They cuddled to keep each other warmth despite cold weather outside

The small bed is just enough to keep them cozy and comfortable…

She let his hands caress her back while her hands are securely placed around him.

She suddenly nuzzled her nose to his exposed neck.

She misses doing this to him…

She miss him.

He felt slightly ticklish but he loves that action of her nevertheless…

He on the other hand inhaled the heavenly scent only she had.

If only he can borrow Tao power and stop the time he probably do it now.

He miss her warmth, her touch, her smile and every single thing of her.

He probably thinks he is still hallucinating if not for the warm breath that caress his neck once in a while.

He probably thinks he is still dreaming if not for the warmth they shared.

People around him told him not to get sick

But if this is what he get for being sick… he willingly fall sick every day.

She pats her back every now and then when her sleep is interrupted by his moans.

She will rub his back gently applying strength in certain places so he will feel better.

She dab the dampen cloth on his forehead and his neck due to his sweating profusely.

At the same time, she is checking on his body temperature if the fever already cools down.

She doesn’t care if she got affected… as long as he is fine.

It hurts her to see him hurting...it hurts so much.

He wakes up to see her smiling beautifully next to him.

He pushes himself to sit and take her hands into his.

She didn’t know how much he appreciate her every single thing she done for him.

Just like how much he didn’t know how much he would done for her if the same thing ever happened.

“Are you feeling better now?” her voices laces with concern

“How can I not when you are the one who take care of me” he answers with his husky voice, looking straightly into her brown eyes.

She can feel blood slowly accumulated on her face…

“Jongin…you are going to China today remember...after Music Bank recording”

“Ah…I forgot…this time we are going to stay there a bit longer” He keeps caressing her hand restlessly.

She is aware of his action, so she put her other hand on top of his…showing him how much she need him too…

“I will miss you…just promise me you won’t get hurt there…because I won’t be there to take care of you” she asks him hopefully.

She is worried...her man is someone who would rather bend than break.

She bites her lower lips waiting for his answer…without knowing how much lips biting would have effect on him.

He pulls her closer and embraces her…whispering something only they both know.

While outside…

D.O silently promises to Naeun…he will take care of Kai…just like she asks him before Jongin wake up.
