Finally it's winter.and today,..exactly 10 December is my birthday.yeah I'm turning 22.i' got a text messages saying happy birthday to me.but none of  it came from my bestfriends.I don't know if they forgot because their busy or something.i'm sure it's not like they pretend to forget.oh come on we didn't play that kind of prank again.it's chilidish,since i'm too old for that.but despite that,there is still someone who can make me smile...it's Key.he text me saying happy birthday and blah blah blah exactly at midnight and I just read it this morning..how did this guy know that today is my birthday?

"Heey Happy 22nd birthdaay Amber.i know it's your birthday right?haha i can imagine your confuse face,wandering how can i know your birthday.well it's a secret.I wish you had a long live,success,stay healthy and ummm...i wish anything the best for you okay?see you next month Am"

Haha..this guy.so i replied his messages saying thank you and hoping to see him soon too.and I already have an answer for him.but then I heard the bell ringing from the front door.i've got an express mail.it was a letter with a package from...Hongkong.ah it must be him again.and when i opened the letter,I was right

I opened the package,and it was a necklace with a star pendant.it was a beautiful necklace.at first i'm still confuse whether to wear the necklace or not,but finally i wear it.a few hours later i receive text from Luna saying happy birthday to me and she will drop in this afternoon to return my sweater that she borrowed a few days ago.so now,i’m waiting in front of my house.so now i’m waiting in front of my house and  about fifteen minutes later she’s coming.it looks like she just finished jogging and went straight to my house

“You look exhausted you know,can i get something for you?”

“Yeah Am..I was jogging ealier,i quickly change my clothes so i forget to drink”

“Alright alright i understand that code means you know.wait here”

She just laughing,I go back the liing room to put my sweater that she had just return and went to the kitchen to make a drink for her.when I cameback she’s not there.i’m thinking that she’s in the backyard,so i went there,but when i reach there i heard someones singing..

“Happy Birthday to you...Happy Birthday to you..Happy Birthday dear Amber..Happy Birthday to you”...

It was all of them Luna,Sulli,Krystal,Vic,Luhan,Lay and...Kris.and he was th one who’s holding the cake.what the hell is he doing here?he’s with them?really?to be honest I do wish he appears on my birthday,all of us like this..

“Make a wish Am...and blow the candle”

“Wait..let me take a pic while you blowing it”said Sulli

I pretty shocked.my body froze until Krystal hit me with her elbow signaling to blow the candle.after I make a wish,I blew the candle.so this is what it’s all about.the reason why no one of them said happy birthday to me except Luna.i just put on my pissed off face to them and lloking at their faces and they all act innocent

“What?Amber..it’s really not me okay.it’s Vic idea” said Sulli.and i’m looking at Vic

“Come on Am,it’s time for to gather like this since high school you know.so it’s your birthday an-...

“Thank you.to all of you guys” I said to all of them with a smile on my face

“Blah Blah blah...enough for the words,can we cut and eat this now?” said Krystal while pointing at the cake

And then I cut.i give to all them each pieces of the cake.but i haven’t feed him.i’m still feeling a bit awkward to him.but too bad,Luhan realize it and asked me

“Hey Am,why don’t you cut another pieces and feed Kris?”

Nice!and now they all cheering on me just to feed him like a kid zzz.fine,i don’t hae a choice,besides i won’t mean anything right?so i cut another pieces and gave it to him.and they taking a picture of us(again) like it was a historical moments.but the cake to tissue o big for his mouth,there’s many cream stick around his lips.and i reflexively take a tissue and wipe his mouth.and when i realize i just back off and he wipe his mouth by himself

And it’s not over yet,now they make him feed me a cake too.great,he also give a pretty big cake for me.since it was my birthday,i decide to treat them.so we just went to the nearest restaurant.and I,together with Kris.seriously?can they stop doing this to me?pfft..so here i am stuck in an awkward silence with him in the car.i try to kill it with start talking first

“You know Kris,you didn’t have to do that.I know they made you do it”

“Doing what?”he asked back

“Umm..join with them making a suprise for me and holding that cake”

“No..they didn’t asked me to do anything.it’s because I want to Am”

What?I must be heard it wrong.I can’t beliee it so I turning my head to see him.he just smiled back at me.

“Really?if i’m not mistaken,you have a midterm exam tommorow don’t you?your college just started it”

“Well..yeah.don’t worry Am.i’m already study and i’ll be home soon”

Seriously?what is this?he had a midterm exam coming tommorow but he came to my house for the surprise instead of study?what’s wrong with these dude?that dinner was one of the best dinner.we gather again after a few years and it was full of laugh.i’m completely had a great time.too bad it was ended soon.when he’s about to get in his car,i yelled his name and running towards him.

“Yeah..what is it Am?”

“I just...want to say thank you.for today Kris”

And he just smile like usual “Yeah..you welcome.and happy birthday Am”

“Yeah..thankyou”

And with that,he left with Luhan and Lay,while i’m going with Vic’s car.when we almost reach my home Vic said she only can drop me in the intersection,since she’s in hurry.with no suspicion i get off and said goodbye to them.it’s not far from my house,so i walked.but then i’m feeling someone following me.so i walked faster..but then..PLAAAK..someone just cracking an egg on my head.and i turn around

“HAHA...got you Am..”said Luna.what the hell ?! before I had a chance to chase her,Krystal already landed an egg on top of my head.even it’s just an egg but it really hurt my head.not just that they pouring flour to me.i’m completly like a living dough.I try to chase them and made their clothes dirty too but no luck,their all running really fast to avoid me.

“Oh come on guys,we already too old for this”

“Well..that’s what you think,not what we’re thinking haha” said Vic

“Oh heey.nice necklace Am.i just realized it” said Luna

“Yeah..it’s from Key”

“Whoaa..i like that dude,he really like you dummy” said Krystal

“Huh?really?that much?”

“Of course.what kind of friends who gave you necklace.it means something.no wonder Krystal called you dummy”

I just standing in my position trying to absord all what they said.shoot!I must be that blunt and unsenstive.After making my front yard full of flour and broken egg they all left.to be honest I had a lot of fun today,and something that I didn’t expect before,happen to me.this is the best birthday I ever had.

A few weeks later my relatinship with Kris started getting better,like there’s no more awkwardness between us.and we started talking comfortably.een though I’m actually scared if I falling i love with him again or the worst the feeling that i already buried deep down cameback to life.because I not even sure about my feelings right now.sometimes I’m happy being around him and that smile that always repeating on my mind.and at that time,all this time didn’t realize that I’m still have feelings for him..

At that time there’s only two of us in the car,Luhan go out to buy something for his sister.while we waiting,I just suddenly start talking

“Hmm...Kris.you know i’m still feeling kinda weird lately..”

“Weird?Why?”

“Well..I used to you know...hate you.like really hate you,I don’t even want to hear your name.but now,I’m acting like this.like nothing happen”

“It’s okay Am..it doesn’t matter anymore it’s in the past”

“I know but..you know why I did it don’t you?”

“I know..and I’m sorry for pretending not to know anything.but the past is the past right?”

“Yeah alright.and you don’t have to worry about it anymore.that kind of feeling is already disappear” I lied

I don’t know where that kind of courage came.but after saying all of that it made me relieved.and all i know now is things getting better not just for me but also for my friends now they all had boyfriend.except me.but i don’t really mind with that.I know my birthday is not so far from Kris’s.he just a week later after me.

And he was inviting me to his birthday too.he pick me up and we just eating all together like what I did.but with a lot of people.well it was his college friends.after we’re done with the feast,we watch him played basketball.and he’s still a great player.no wonder he was the captain in highschool.and he also drive me back home when it was his own birthday.and when we reach my home

“Oh my God..Happy Birthday Kris.i forgot to say it earlier” stupid,i said it when i was about to get off from his car

“Haha..it’s okay Am..thankyou it means a lot for me”

I just smiled “Thanks for the ride..Goodnight Kris” I waved my hands at him

“Yeah..sure.Goodnight Amber” he waved back

I entered my house,and and close the door behind me,and then I start smilng like an idiot
