Eunji  watched from afar as a certain guy played basketball with his friends; his smile dazzling her. She couldn't help but swoon. His name was Lee Ho Won - Hoya to his friends. He and his friends were the most popular guys at Infinite High and every girl loved them, including Eunji.

Eunji was wearing a light grey flannel sweater that looked about one size too big for her with cream colored skirt that had a grey owl print. Her dark hair was tied off into a pony tail, leaving her front bangs and glasses to be seen. She was sitting in the shade of a tree in the courtyard of the school with her best friend Naeun.

"He's so cute..." Eunji said in a whispered tone to  Naeun.

"You should go talk to him." Naeun said as she gently nudged Eunji with her shoulder.

Eunji flushed bright red, "N-No way! I'd look like a complete idiot!"

"Don't you always?" a haughty voice said behind them. Eunji had to hold Naeun back from hitting Yoona right in her stuck up face.

"Yah! Apologize to her!" Naeun exclaimed angrily as she flailed around in Eunji's arms.

Yoona scoffed, "Why should I apologize if it's true?"

This only made Naeun angrier.

"I couldn't help but notice you two low lifes staring at our prince charming, Hoya. Right girls?" Yoona asked Tiffany and Jessica. They both nodded and gagged.

"I can't believe they have the audacity to." Tiffany snarled.

"As if he would ever notice dirt poor maids like them." Jessica said with a giggle.

Naeun's nose flared. "I bet that Hoya won't just notice Eunji, he'll fall for her too!"

Eunji gasped and quickly covered Naeun's mouth only to have her hands pushed away.

Yoona, Tiffany, and Jessica burst out into laughter.

"Fall? For her? Don't be ridiculous!" Yoona exclaimed between laughs, "One look at me, and I'll snatch him right up. Just like your boyfriend Taemin, right Naeun? Or should I say EX boyfriend."

With that, Yoona, Tiffany, and Jessica walked off with a haughty laughter. Naeun clenched her fist so tightly, her knuckles were turning white.

"Naeun.... Calm down," Eunji said gently as she placed her hand on Naen's shoulder.

"I'm going to tear that girl to shreds, if it's the last thing I do." Naeun said between gritted teeth, "Come on. I'm not going to let her win this. I swear, I'll do whatever it takes to get Hoya to fall in love with you even if I have to shoot him in the with an arrow myself. Now, let's give you a makeover."

Naeun grabbed Eunji's hand and dragged her to her car.

The next day, the students were chattering amongst themselves inside their classroom. They were waiting for class to start. Yoona, Tiffany, and Jessica were sitting at their desks fixing their makeup, and Hoya was sitting at his desk, tapping his pen against it in boredom. Yoona gave herself a quick check in her compact mirror and blew herself a kiss. Her friends gave her a hushed 'fighting', and Yoona stood up from her desk and made her way over to Hoya. Her long, dark brown hair swayed along with her scoop necked white dress. Just before Yoona reached Hoya's desk, a girl walked through the door and caught everyone's attention.

She was wearing a high waisted black skirt along with a white, long-sleeved dress shirt with a thin black tie underneath the collar. Her hair was a medium auburn color that was slightly waved.

"Who's the new girl?" a boy whispered.

"I don't think I've seen her before."

"Why is she sitting in Eunji's seat?"

"Guys, I think that is Eunji!"

​The class gaped in shock. Eunji no longer wore glasses or had front bangs  for her to hide behind. She looked more mature and more confident now.

Some girls crowded around Eunji to compliment her new appearance. She only gave them a shy smile and thanked them for their kind words. The guys in the classroom hung back to admire her beauty from afar and quietly whispered amongst themselves about Eunji. Hoya leaned back in his chair and snuck a few glances at Eunji, his lips curling upward in the slightest manner.

Yoona was furious about the spotlight being stolen by Eunji before she had a chance to do anything. She quickly stomped back to her seat. Crossing her arms, she sat down and glared at the back of Eunji's head.

"Who does she think she is anyway? It's as if she thinks she can buy beauty." Tiffany scoffed as she applied more mascara.

"Exactly. She probably thinks that now that she got her hair dyed, she's so pretty." Jessica rolled her eyes as she flipped her bright blonde hair over her shoulders.

"It doesn't matter. I'll still get Hoya." Yoona said through gritted teeth.

At lunch, Yoona was sitting at her table, waiting for Hoya. She saw his friends there but she didn't see him in the cafeteria.

"Where is he?" Yoona huffed while crossing her arms, "I even made him lunch."

"So you're trying to poison him now? I hope you know that this won't work out like Snow White." Naeun said as she stuck her tongue out at Yoona. Naeun wrapped her arm around Eunji's shoulder and led her to their regular table. "Pretty good, huh?"

"Sure..." Eunji said as she patted Naeun's head.

Yoona rolled her eyes. As soon as Tiffany and Jessica sat down, Yoona grabbed Tiffany's grape juice and stomped over to Eunji and Naeun's table. She walked up behind Eunji and dumped the grape juice all over her. Eunji gasped and stood up quickly. Grape juice drenched her hair and she knew her shirt was going to stain. The others in the cafeteria stared at Yoona and Eunji in shock. The attention was closing in on Eunji. She was starting to panic. She grabbed her backpack and quickly ran out of the cafeteria.

"You little wretch!" Naeun grabbed her backpack and ran after Eunji.

Yoona smirked in pride  as she watched the two run out of the cafeteria.

"Hey!"

Yoona turned away from the cafeteria entrance only to look straight into the eyes of Hoya.

"Hoya Oppa, I didn't see you there-"

Yoona paused in mid sentence as chocolate milk was poured all over her. Yoona gasped and stared up at Hoya's smug face. With that, he ran after Eunji and Naeun, leaving a flabbergasted Yoona in the cafeteria with a bunch of snickering students.

He looked up and down the hallways, but couldn't find Naeun or Eunji. He walked up the stairs to the roof only to find Eunji sobbing quietly into a tissue while Naeun was rubbing a tower on Eunji's head.

"It's okay sweetie...." Naeun said softly as she dried Eunji's hair. 

Eunji shook her head slightly and wiped away her tears. Hoya cleared his throat catching their attention. Naeun nudged Eunji's shoulder and Eunji looked up only to see Hoya standing in front of them.

"Are you okay?" Hoya asked as he sat down next to Eunji.

She gave him a slight nod, "Yeah... But my clothes..."

Hoya looked down to see Eunji's clothes which had dark purple stains starting to form. He quickly pulled off his hoodie and handed it to her. "Here," he said, "wear this for now."

Eunji smiled as she slipped on Hoya's hoodie. "Thank you, I appreciate it."

She wiped her eyes with the towel and hissed softly. "Darn... I think the grape juice got into my contacts."

"Just take them off then," Naeun urged.

Eunji bit her lip slightly and looked back at Hoya. He gave her a soft smile and shrugged as if to say he didn't care. Eunji took off her contacts and placed them in their container and put on her glasses.

"I think I like you better that way." Hoya said with a smile.

Eunji blushed, "Really?"

Hoya nodded and held out his hand, "Here, let me treat you two to lunch since Yoona ruined it." 

Eunji smiled grabbed his hand and he helped her up. The three made their way back to the cafeteria. In the hallway, Hoya noticed Yoona desperately trying to wipe off the chocolate milk while her friends helped her.

"Hey, Yoona!"

Yoona looked up at Hoya.

"Nice dress," he said with a smirk as he wrapped his arm around Eunji's waist.

Yoona screeched and stomped her foot as she watched Hoya, Eunji, and Naeun walk back into the cafeteria.

"What did you do?" Eunji asked Hoya while poking his side.

"Me?" Hoya asked, feigning innocence, "I didn't do anything she didn't deserve."

Eunji giggled and pinched Hoya's cheeks.
