Chapter 25

They were at the bus stop. For once, it didn’t rain. In fact, the weather couldn’t have been finer as the lovebird got together in the bus stop, waiting for the bus to take them back to the city. Yunho pulled out his jacket as he felt the sea breeze brought the air in coldness. He looked at Yuri who was standing beside him. Wrapped up against the cold wind, she had pulled out her jacket out too, to cover her neck. He smiled a bit & put his arm around her shoulder, transferring his body warmth to her.

“Cold, Yul?”

She nodded lightly.

He moved closer & put both of his arms around her tightly. He regretted not bringing more suitable jacket for Yuri as he didn’t expect that they would take a bus. He sighed.

Yuri heard his sigh & took it wrongly, “You regret it, spoiled brat?!”

He cocked an eyebrow at her before replying, “Well, do you know what will happen to somebody when she called me a spoiled brat?!”

She couldn't help but grin, “But you are.” She then put on a face of seriousness, scrutinizing his face, “Alright. You’re not a spoiled brat! You’re...um, let me think.” She pretended to think seriously but her face showed that she was teasing him.

He couldn’t stand it anymore. Yunho tickled her who was cuddling in his embrace peacefully. She screamed out in laughter. She was gasping her air before saying cheekily, “I know. You’re such an imp.”

She jumped up suddenly to avoid a second blow from Yunho. Smiling broadly at him, she ran to the other side of the bus stop. Yunho grinned widely & ran after her. He caught her just in time & grabbed her by the waist, swinging her around in the middle of their laughter before losing his balance. Both of them collapsed onto the ground.

Punching him on the chest, she protested, “It’s not fair! You’re faster than me!” She was sitting on him where she had fallen, “Wait for my revenge.”

Yunho groaned in pain, “What revenge? You are sitting on me. Ouch, my stomach hurts. You're hurting me.” He pretended to be in great pain.

Yuri got up immediately in shock & helped him up. She looked at him worriedly, scrutinizing his painful face, “Are you alright, Yun Oppa?” However, when she saw his eyes twinkled with laughter as if he was hiding his smile, she punched him again, on the chest. This time was for real.

“Ouch.”

“Serves you right.” She walked away from him.

Yunho couldn’t help laughing during his pain. He had never met a girl liked her before. Someone who had all the emotion within her, fun, loving, carefree & also mischievousness, however, she could turn into a fierce & cold tiger when her anger eat her up. He shook his head slightly.

“Stop your silly grin!” She yelled at him, but then giggled. She took his hand impatiently when the bus was coming, “Let’s go.”

Yuri took him to dinner at the place that she believed he had never stepped foot in before. It was a small, nice, street side restaurant, open to the tropical heat of night with a view of the ocean.

“Do you mind to eating here, Oppa?”

Yunho smiled & shook his head, “I don’t mind. I believe your choice is the best.”

Yuri smiled thankfully & led him inside. He put his arm around her shoulder tightly when they were walking towards the restaurant. She circled her right arm around his waist. Asking for privacy, a waiter showed them to a quiet table in the corner.

Yunho was perusing the menu when he heard Yuri said, “They have a special pork rib soup. Of course, it can’t be compared with your expensive restaurant. If you don’t like it then we can go.”

He looked at her & met her eyes, “Do you see that I don’t mind eating here? I like to eat soup food especially pork rib.” He said in a serious tone.

She smiled & felt shy as she judged him wrongly. She stared at him who was looking at the menu again. He was so different tonight. She always looked at him in his elegant & rich appearance but strangely, this time, she saw him in a solid picture; so much different from those blurry image which she had carried in her heart. Leaving all his branded apparel, he still looked dazzling as ever. She felt a warm feeling again, bringing an unexplainable joy, a butterfly feeling in her heart as she saw his handsome face shining brightly under the light. She couldn't resist his charms. She sighed secretly.

“Are you done, Oppa?”

He lifted his face up & grinned weakly, “You decide. I know your choice is the best. I give the honor to you.” He said playfully, handing her the menu list.

Yuri giggled as she again, “Why didn’t you tell me that you don’t have money to pay? That's why you let me to decide.”

He groaned again, “Evil girl, give me back my wallet.”

She shook her head, “It’s my treat tonight. Alright. I’ll decide.” She waived her right hand to call the waiter. As the waiter came, she started to order what they were going to eat.

Yunho stared at her lovingly while she was busy ordering the food. She was in front of him with her captivating eyes still shining brightly liked always. Her hair had left a more define look for her beauty. He could see her beautiful smile again, after the past long heart tearing months, not to mention, the cheerful side of her. How he wished he could snatch her away & marry her for real.

Night was growing thicker but they didn’t notice it as they were engaged in a light, cheerful conversation during dinner. He stole a glance at her several times to make sure that his eyes didn't lie. She was really treating him nicely. The food was good & the mood was better as they were eating in a light atmosphere. Finishing their food, Yuri wanted to order two orange & chocolate cake for dessert, “This restaurant makes the best dessert. You have to try it, Oppa.”

Yunho surrendered, “You know, my stomach is full. I don’t think I can eat anymore.” He said, patting his stomach lightly.

Yuri grinned but she still insisted to order the dessert.

“Why don’t we share, Yul?” He suggested, as he felt like he couldn’t eat anymore.

She shook her head mischievously, “No way. Your germs will contaminate my body.”

He laughed out loud, “Really? I have contaminated your body with my germs since this afternoon. Don’t you remember we have shared a kiss on the beach?”

She was blushing. Her face was red as a beetroot. She lowered her face, avoiding his teasing look. He continued to laugh but she didn’t fight back as usual.

When the waiter handed them the bill, Yunho grabbed her hand which was opening her bag, “Let me, Yul.” She shoved his hand away & pulled out her black kate spade new york cherry lane stacy wallet. She gave money to the waiter & turned her eyes to him, rolling in happiness, “This time I win.” She laughed when she heard Yunho groaning in protests.

He finally said in defeat, “Okay. It’s all yours tonight.” He said.

“Thank you for this wonderful nice dinner ever.” His voice sounded husky. His words spoken out so gently but was loud enough to console her jumping heart. Then nervously, she forced herself to look up, just for a quick sneak peek at his expression on his face.

“Your welcome.” She answered softly, stopping the feeling of the gentle rhythm that was dancing in her heart. Yunho hesitated. He wanted to say those three words again, but his mind told him that it wasn’t the perfect place to utter those sacred words. On the other hand, Yuri was quietly & confusingly watching his hesitated appearance. Half of her was disappointed but the other half was relief when he didn’t put any more pressure on her peaceful mind.

“Can we go now, Oppa? It’s getting late. I’m afraid Mimi can’t handle Chun when he cries.” Yuri said cleverly, to change the subject. She felt that Yunho was planning something weird tonight. She was afraid that her heart couldn't take anymore of his romantic antics. She looked at his face & got the answer as he nodded, “This time we’ll take a taxi. We’ll go to downtown to take my car first then we’ll go to your house. Now, give me back my car key & wallet please.”

Yuri opened her bag & pulled out his key & wallet. She gave them all back to him without opening his wallet. Yunho sighed in relief, ‘She haven’t found my little secr
