KAI'S POV

"You've imprinted," my eyes were widen.

"I what ?" I tried to reassure that I heard it right. The word was clear but I was still in denial. My father turned to me and nodded his head. "Imprinted. She's the one. The one that 'you' have chosen," he explained. I blinked a few times, trying to process what I'd just heard.

Imprinted. Her. She's the one, these words echoed inside my head. Is it true ? Am I really ? Is she really ? I thought to myself. Come to think of it, it does make a little sense. I felt anxious when I was watching her being dragged away by my brothers just awhile ago. Watching her waving at me before I completely lost sight of her. It was driving me crazy. I kept on fighting the urge to just run and hold her back. Now, I just feel like the walls of my lungs were tighten making it hard for me to breathe. I was practically gasping for air.

I abruptly stood up and sprint, leaving my father alone in the tent who was calling out to me. But I just ignored him. I kept on running as my eyes were wandering around to search for a glimpse of her. Raina, where are you ? I asked myself. I was running around like an idiot until I stopped at my track when I had finally found her, smiling, laughing and joking around with my brothers. I straighten my posture and made my way towards her. I kept my expression neutral but I felt like I was about to collapse on my knees at sight of her smiling face.

She noticed me coming and turned to face me. She raised her hand and waved at me. I could have sworn that my heart had skipped a beat. By the time I was standing in front of her, I grabbed her and pulled her in my embrace as my lips crashed into hers. Holding her as tightly as I could. Savouring her soft plump lips on mine. I tighten my grip, not wanting to let her go. And to my surprise, she had her arms wrapped around my neck and kissed me back. I felt at peace when I had her in my arms.

I am forever yours I thought to myself.

RAINA'S POV

I followed Chanyeol as he led me out of the tent, followed by the others. When we had finally gotten further away from the tent, he had finally broke the silence. "So, Raina is it ?" he said as he turned to look at me with a smirk on his face. I looked up at him as I noticed how tall he was. He was gigantic. I never knew that there was someone who could grow this tall. I quickly snapped myself out of it and nodded my head. He chuckled at my reaction as he turned his gaze back. "You're not very talkative, are you ?" he asked with a chuckle before looking down to me.

"Not exactly," I chuckled. "Oh, she talks. That's a relief. For a second there I thought that had I failed in an attempt of making a conversation," he said with a laugh. I suddenly felt like there was someone tugging on my sleeve. I turned to my left but I didn't see anyone. Then I felt it again. This time, I looked down and saw a little boy standing next to me. He was looking up to me with the cutest smile plastered on his lips. I stopped and knelt in front of him. "Hi, there," I said with a smile on my face. They all stopped their tracks and watched me as I greeted the little boy. He just smile shyly back at me. "What's your name ?" I continued. "Leo," he answered me softly. He was rocking himself back and forth. He is so cute. I fought the urge of wanting to pinch his chubby cheeks so badly. "Hi, Leo. I'm Raina," I replied. His face was turning red which made him a lot cuter. "Noona, are you an angel ?" he stuttered. I started to grin at his comment. "No, I'm not an angel. Why do you ask ?" I asked him. My grin was widen. "Because you are really beautiful. My mom said that angels are the most beautiful creatures that had ever existed," he replied shyly.

I looked up and saw them smirking and grinning at us. I couldn't help but blush. I shifted my gaze back at the little boy. "Well, she's right. Angels are beautiful. And your name sounds so brave Leo. I bet that you are," I replied. He shook his head and looked at his feet. "No, I'm not. I'm too little to be brave," he said with a pouted mouth. I just chuckle at his expression. "Well, what do you feel when you are talking to me ?" I tilted my head a little to get a better view of his face. He rubbed his feet on the ground and held his hand behind his back. "Shy," he whispered to me. "Ok. Do you feel like running away when I talk to you right now ?" I was leaning closer to his face. "No," he shook his head. "See. You are brave. So," I propped my hand under his chin and lifted his face so that he would face me. I looked into his eyes and gave him a bright smile. "How about if you stop hiding that face of yours and show everyone that you can be brave even if you are still too little ? Hmm.." I told him. He flashed a grin before nodding his head. I ruffled his head as he heard his name being called. We turned to the owner of the voice and saw a middle age woman waving her hand indicating him to come over. He turned to look at me one last time before he ran towards his mother. "Bye, noona. Hope I will see you around," he said as he waved his goodbye. Instinctly, I raised my hand and waved back.

I was startled when I heard someone clearing his throat. I turned and saw them smirking at me. "You're really good with kids. Leo had never talk to strangers before. He won't even talk to us. I'm impressed," Baekhyun said with wide grin on his lips. "Yeah. I don't think I had ever seen him talk to someone that long. Not even with his own parents," D.O. exclaimed. "I just said what was on my mind. I didn't think that I was good with kids either," I chuckled. "Well, you certainly knew what you were doing," Lay nodded his head. I smiled as we had finally reached the end of the trail. I looked around and saw another campfire being set up in the middle of logs that was placed around it. There were bright coloured trees all round us. I could have sworn that they were glowing. I awed in amazement. Chanyeol led me to one of the logs and sat me down as he sat next to me along with the rest of them.

"So, you're the princess. I guess that makes you the new Guardian, huh ?" the one called Sehun asked me. "Yeah, I guess so," I answered with a nod. I noticed the corner of his lips curved up into a smirk. "So, does that mean that you can do spells ?" he asked me. I chuckled and nodded my head again. He is so cute I thought to myself. "Can you do one right now ?" he seemed excited. The one that was sitting beside him, who I think was Luhan elbowed him. Sehun rubbed his arm and shot death glares at him. "Be nice," he hissed. "Sorry about that. He can be a little annoying sometimes," he said to me. Now it was his turn to shoot death glares at him. Sehun looked down, still rubbing his arm.

I smiled as I watched how adorable he's reacting. I couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him. It's not that it's wrong for him to ask me to do a spell. That is what I'm good at, after all. "It's ok. I can show you a little. If you want ?" I said to him. He immediately raised his head and smiled at me. "Really ?" he was really excited. I smiled and nodded my head. I took a quick look at all of them. "In fact. How about if I show it to all of you," I added. They all turned and smiled at me. "Sure," "Why not ?" "We would love to see it," "That's a great idea," they replied all at once.

I got up from my seat and made my way towards Sehun. They all let out a gasp as I knelt in front of him and looked him in the eyes. He jumped a little and I saw his face turned red. I chuckled at his cuteness. "Do you trust me ?" I asked him, loud enough for just only him to hear me. He hesitant at first but eventually nodded his head. I smiled and went to stand behind him. I bent a little as I covered his eyes with my hands. They watched me closely with wondering expressions. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. "Virtutes oculis videre velim videat," I chant under my breath.

I slowly removed my hands and took a step back. He gasped and jumped back as he openned his eyes. "What ? What's wrong ?" Luhan asked him as he tried to help him up. Sehun was silent until he broke a laugh. "This is amazing. Hyung, I swear that this is real if you're not holding on to me right now," he said with another laugh. "What is he talking about ?" Suho looked at me. I smiled at him. "I'd just made him see that he's under water. Don't worry, the spell will rub off soon.," I assured him. "Woah. My turn. Let me try," Tao raised his hands as he hopped his way towards me. I burst out laughing at him. "You are so cute, " I said out loud by the time he stood in front of me. He rubbed the back of his neck with an awkward smile on his face.

I showed each and every one of them the spell that I did on Sehun and Tao. They were mesmerized with my abilities. They even requested on what they wanted to see. I just nodded my head and gave them what they asked for. We were laughing and joking around with each other.

"You're amazing, Raina. I can see why Kai brought you here," Chen said to me. I turned to look at him, confused. "What do you mean ?" I asked him. "This place is sacred for us. It's forbidden for any of us to let any one else knows about it. The penalty is death. But we knew that something was up when he brought you along. He, of all people knew too well of our law. He wouldn't just go against it without a very good reason," Xiumin explained. "Of course, he has a reason," I was about to remind them of what I did for him when I was suddenly cut off. "That's not really the reason why he had brought you here," Suho informed me. I was getting even more confused. "Then, what is ?" I looked him in the eye.

They all exchanged looks before turning to face me. I turned to look at Suho who was sitting beside me and waited for him to answer. He took a deep breath. "You're special to him," he finally said. I furrowed my eyebrows. "Let's just put it this way. He will never leave your side, he will always try to keep you happy and he will always be there to keep you safe even if it means that he'll have to risk his own life. In other words, he has chosen you," he finished. Chosen me ? He has chosen me ? I thought about it over and over in my head. I blinked a few times before I noticed him at the corner of my eyes. I quickly turned to face him. I watched his figure from afar as he made his way towards me. He looked at me with his hazel eyes. Giving me an unreadable look on his face. Without my realize, I'd raised my hand and waved at him.

By the time he stood in front of me, he had his arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me into a tight embrace. I was stunned when I felt his lips on mine. My mind suddenly went blank. The whole world was spinning all around me. Instinctly, I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck. Pulling him closer as I returned his kiss. I felt like I was about to float in mid air but the feeling of his arms around me had prevented me from floating away. I felt like he was my new gravity.

hehe... wow... their first kiss. would you believe it. haha.. finally they kissed. this is getting exciting...
