You steal my heart 

*knock knock*

"Can I come in?" I heard Taemin's muffled voice through the wooden door.

"Why?" I said, considering opening the door.

"I have some food."

I immediately opened the door, realizing my starvation. "Food?" I said, my stomach growling in want.

He giggled, pulling a plate of food from behind his back. "Here." he said, smiling proudly. "eat up. Key hyung made it for you."

I nodded, thankfully taking the plate and inviting him in. I sat on the floor and dug into the food, and he sat next to me.

"I'm sorry for asking but....are you interested in Jonghyun hyung?"

I stopped eating and stared at Taemin, whose face had fallen out of the cheerful mood he was just in into a hurt, sad puppy. I sighed, and set my plate down.

"I don't know. I really don't know what to think now." I shook my head, closing my eyes. "I'm sorry Taemin...I know this isn't what you wanted of me coming here..."

He reached out and put his hand on my face. I widened my eyes, shifting them from side to side as he ran his thumb down my face, wiping the side of my lip. He smiled, removing his hand and blushing a little. "Sorry, there was something on your face."

I nodded, my mouth open a little.

"What were you saying?" He said softly.

It took a moment for me to answer but I blinked hard and continued, "I...um...I think I'll just need some time to ...to like think about it all..."

He nodded, standing. "Well, I'll be here. You can count on that." He winked at me, turning around.

"Wait a minute, Taemin-ah..." I said, standing up and grabbing the sleeve of his shirt. He turned, wearing a kind of smirk. I looked away, my face burning up. "Umm...what about Hee Young? I mean...she still thinks you like her...."

He laughed, putting his hands in his pockets coolly. "Don't worry. I took care of that. Where do you think I went earlier? The mall?" He winked again, ruffled my hair and turned to leave out of the room.

I couldn't help but smile after he left, smiling and bringing a hand to my heart. He took care of it? Taemin really was the sweetest.

I walked out of my room with the empty plate after eating the entire of what Taemin had brought me.

"Let me help you with that." Jonghyun said, smiling and taking the plate from me. I stared at him cluelessly, then rubbed my head.

"Ah, ye...thank you." I said awkwardly. I turned to go back into my room before I had to converse with him but he grabbed my arm and turned me around, engulfing me into a hug.

For a moment I didn't know what to do, and I felt him squeeze his arms around me tighter and move his chin on my shoulder. "Listen, I know I wronged you...but can you please...at least give me a chance?"

I pried myself out of his arms and he let go willingly, looking at me with drooped eyes and a sad frown. I bit my mouth nervously and closed my eyes, thinking. "I think that's only fair, don't you?"

"What?" he said, smiling hopefully. I nodded, forcing a smile of my own.

"Then, would you have dinner with me tonight?" He raised his eyebrows and gave me a y smirk.

I couldn't refuse him. I knew I should give him a chance, and it'd be a lie to say I disliked him. I didn't dislike him at all. In fact, I was beginning to feel admiration for him. He was absurdly cocky, crazy, random, and spontaneous. Something about him was just fun. I decided to just give this a try.

I walked out of my room wearing a cute white dress and heels. My hair was tied up with a ribbon and I held a cute clutch. I smiled innocently at Jonghyun, who had combed back his hair and was wearing an elegant white suit.

"Shall we?" he said in a fake formal accent. I laughed and he took my arm, hooking it in his and escorted me out of the building. I couldn't help but feel like this was going to be enjoyable. I glanced at him through the corner of my eye and noticed his handsome face wearing a smile I couldn't ignore.

Honestly, me and Jonghyun had some good times. Our awkward conversations, skinship too close for me, and being cynical toward eachother for the past few weeks was something I, for some reason, enjoyed. Even our visit to the fair was memorable.....I gasped, remembering I the fortune teller.

She had said that I would be betrayed, but find out who truly loves me. Did that mean I would be betrayed by the one who loved me? So then, did Jonghyun truly love me?
