Date night was always Hoseok and Hyungwon's favorite night of the week, a night where neither men's work schedules overlapped and they had hours just to themselves with no impending projects to worry about. With their day to day busy schedules, it was hard to find a time where they could just relax and enjoy each other's company with no interruptions. They were both deeply involved in their separate careers and it was hard to fit their lives together sometimes, but it was so crazy at the beginning, it always was. Things would settle down in the future. 

But their baby couldn't wait for the future because she decided that she needed to be made during the holidays when her parents had been a bit too drunk to use protection properly. It was already August and she was due to put in an appearance mid-September, most likely closer to the beginning and with less than a month until she was here, all Hyungwon wanted to do was rest and lay down. He was heavily pregnant, enough so that he had gone on extended maternity leave, a perk his job provided with a full six months of paid leave. Hyungwon was an important part of the company and they needed him so they were willing to give him as much time as he needed just so he could return at some point in the next half year. With such a promising option, there had been no way Hyungwon was going to turn it down. 

So here they were, Hoseok and Hyungwon having a date night inside the house when the usual would be going out to eat and doing something they both enjoyed. But Hyungwon had been too tired to even leave the bed and he had claimed it was too hot outside to be doing anything comfortably, resorting to Hoseok calling in a large pizza and cinnamon breadsticks. Hyungwon ate three-fourths of the food before finally feeling full, much to Hoseok's surprise. Hyungwon didn’t eat much but with how his appetite was tonight Hoseok had been too afraid to eat any portion of the order for fear that Hyungwon might want his slices. The older was just glad that Hyungwon was able to eat and didn't have to find himself something else to eat in the house. Hoseok could always eat something else. 

Now after dinner they were watching tv and cuddling, Hoseok holding Hyungwon as close to his chest as possible with a beach ball pressed between them. Hoseok loved holding his husband close to his heart, feeling his warmth and his heartbeat against his own. With the younger man's large belly pressing into his own flat stomach, it set something like pride ablaze in his chest. Pregnancy suited Hyungwon well, and Hoseok made him that way. It was a sick way of thinking, but there was an odd sense of satisfaction knowing that Hoseok had been the one Hyungwon settled for and was having a baby with. It was pretty special. 

The night was pretty uneventful. They'd ordered in once Hoseok had arrived home and they sat at the couch eating to their fill and then they had watched a movie on their couch. The movie hadn't been watched since they hadn't been able to take their eyes nor hands off each other. Spending the day at home got pretty lonely without work and when Hoseok wasn't there to entertain Hyungwon. This was their time together and spending it watching a movie wasn't exactly ideal. 

Afterward though, when the movie was over and neither digested what the plot was, they headed back to bed to cuddle and watch a show they were actually interested in. They had watched from the first episode until now, seven seasons in without fail. It was time to wind down and relax after some action on the couch.
