-I can’t believe you fell asleep in the middle of a class, that’s so not you –Sungjae laughed as he poked my side.

-Yah! Stop it already, you have no idea how embarrassed I am – I said, pushing him.

He didn’t bulge, and just laughed even more.

-Seriously what did you do all night that made you this tired? – he asked.

I shrugged, trying to let this topic die, I was lucky Minhyuk had covered up for me, I still wasn’t sure about Sungjae getting to know what bothered me.

We walked quietly until we arrived to my flat.

-Well then, try to sleep well tonight okay? – Sungjae said, smiling at me.

-I will try…. – I answered hesitantly.

Sungjae opened his mouth to say something, but then my phone started ringing.

My hands were shaking when I took my phone out of my pocket, I looked at the screen, already knowing what was the name that appeared on it.

-You’re not going to get it? – he asked.

-No…it’s nothing – I answered, and hid the phone.

He gave me a weird look, but luckily he didn’t press any further.

-Well then…Good night! – he turned around to leave, but I grabbed his arm.

-Wait! Could you…can you stay with me a bit longer? Please – I said, looking at the floor.

-Why…? Are you alright? – he asked stepping closer.

-Yes…it’s just that I want to be with you a little bit longer – I smiled.

-If you want me to stay, then I will – he smiled back, and placed his hand in my face.

I opened the door and lead him inside.

-Do you want to eat something? Or drink? – I offered.

-That’s fine – he answered.

A somewhat awkward silence followed, sitting next to each other in the sofa.

-I’m sorry for asking you to stay – I suddenly blurted out.

He looked back at me surprised.

-Don’t be silly, I don’t mind spending more time with you, I’ve been busy lately, and I’ve missed you a bit.

I couldn’t help but to smile, and then, the phone rang again.

I whimpered.

-Are you alright?

-Of course… - I muttered.

-Why don’t you want to answer the phone? – he asked.

-Nothing, it’s fine!

-Come on! Pick it up! – he snatched the phone away from me.

-Wait! No! Sungjae-ah! – I shouted as I tried to take the phone from his hand.

He laughed as I tried to reach his hand, he grabbed my waist with his free arm to keep me from jumping, and Sungjae fell backwards in the sofa, dragging me along.

-Oh they hang up once again – Sungjae commented.

He raised his head an inch just to see me over him, still unable to move because of his arm, words died on his lips, and we just stared at each other.

I could feel a lump in my throat, and turned my head to the side.

-Will you give it back now? – I asked with a slightly weak voice.

-Sure – he answered absentmindedly.

He finally freed me, and I got my phone back, I quickly turned it off and tossed it in the coffee table.

 -Soooo – Sungjae said getting more comfortable in the sofa.

-Ermmm…I don’t know – I answered, sifting awkwardly in my spot – do you want to watch a movie?

-Sure!

I stood up and put a DVD on the DVD reader, then when I was about to go back to my place I saw Sungjae waiting for me, his arm now over the headrest.

-Do you want some popcorn? – I suggested.

-Oh, OK!

We were halfway through the movie, and my eyelids were feeling heavy, I didn’t want to tell Sungjae to leave, as he was enjoying the movie, plus I knew that if I moved all the sleepiness would go away.

I was starting to nod off when Sungjae looked at me.

-Are you falling asleep? Should I leave so you go to bed?

-Forget it, I don’t want to move right now.

I heard him chuckling, and we both went back to watching the movie.

Not too long after I was nodding off again, and Sungjae chuckled once again.

-Here, lean on me before you break your neck – he hugged me with his arm, so my head was resting on his shoulder.

-Try to sleep now, I will take you to your bed when the movie is over – he whispered.

-No don’t, just wake me up when you want to leave – I mumbled already half asleep.

He chuckled once more.

-Alright honey, sleep well – he said as he softly kissed my forehead.

And then I slowly drifted off.

When I woke up I realised I wasn’t in my bed, but in the sofa, and I realised I wasn’t alone.

-Sungjae-ah? – I whispered.

He stirred in his sleep and tightened the hug he was holding me in.

-Sungjae-ah, wake up – I said amused.

Slowly he opened his eyes and looked around confused while yawning.

I laughed, and he looked at me.

-Good morning – he said smiling innocently.

-Good morning – I answered – what are you doing here?<
