So you know how I said I thought we were going to a beach far away from Seoul to avoid fangirls? It didn't work. We went to practice like we do every morning, ate lunch, and then went to the beach. The first hour at the beach was awesome, but then the fangirls discovered us. It started out with just a few autographs. But then we had girls running up and asking for hugs.

I don't know if the girls called their friends or just ran up an down the beach yelling "SHINee's over there!", but a huge mob of girls came running towards us. We quickly packed up our stuff and started running. I'm not very fit, and running in sand is HARD! Jonghyun grabbed my hand to make sure I didn't fall or get lost, I guess. We had to run down the beach and then circle back to get to our car. By the time we got back, I was TOTALLY out of breath and thought I might just die.

We headed back to the dorm, all the boys telling me how sorry they were that our trip had gone this way.

"It's fine." I said. "I had a good time anyway!"

Taemin replied, "but I want to make it up to you. We could go out somewhere tonight."

"Really, it's not a big deal!"

"How about we go to karaoke?" Key chimed in. "Do you like karaoke?"

That DEFINITELY caught my interest. Karaoke? I'd only heard about the Korean karaoke places in K-Dramas. Not only that, I'd get to hear SHINee sing in person! "That would be great!" I responded.

"Alright then!" Onew exclaimed. "Karaoke it is!"

We went home and had dinner, then headed to the karaoke.

Karaoke was so much fun! I was happy to just watch SHINee sing and dance, but they wouldn't let me. At one point, Minho handed me a mic and said "you say you're a fan, so do you know our songs?" And a SHINee song.

"Wait a second" I cried. "You want me to sing YOUR song?"

"Here, I'll help you!" Jonghyun said, excited, and grabbed the other mic. Together we sang "why so serious", a song that SHINee came out with in the summer of last year. It was amazing! Ever since I heard of SHINee, I had wanted to sing with them.

And apparently, they must have thought I was pretty good, because they made me sing with them until past midnight. But I got to sing some songs other than SHINee's. I got to sing a lot of Michael Jackson, because the boys like Michael almost as much as I do. That made it totally worth it that our trip to the beach was a bomb. Anyway, I gotta get up early in the morning. G'night!

Thursday, June 19

So here's how today went: in the morning, we went to practice. The boys were taking a break when all of a sudden Key turned to me and said "Hannah, you probably knows the lyrics to our new song by now. Can you sing it?"

"What?" I asked. Why did he want me to sing their song? Not that I couldn't, I definitely know the lyrics, but why?

"Oh yeah, can you sing it?" Onew chimed in. Everyone else seemed to agree. I guess if I was a celebrity, I'd like it if people sang my songs. But I decided to do even better than that. Not only have I memorized the song, I also know MOST of the dance. I got up, sang the song, and did the choreography. I overplayed it a little, I admit. I'm not good enough that my singing or dancing could be considered very good, so I made it a little extra ridiculous. They loved it. I did too.

In the afternoon, we took a cable car up to N Seoul Tower. The view was AMAZING! It was really cool to get a birds eye view of Seoul like that.

Finally, we went out to dinner and had some really good food. Although, lemme just say, it's a good thing I'm not a picky eater...

I go back to the states on Sunday. But I'm not actually going back to Atlanta. My parents moved to ia during the school year, so that's where I'll be the rest of the summer. I really miss my family, and I'm glad to be going home, but I've had so much fun these last couple of days, I don't really want it to end.

But I've still got two days, so I'm going to enjoy them as much as I can. Taemin won't tell me where we're going tomorrow... I can't wait to find out!
