SAD Photoshoot
SHINee's American DongsengSunday, July 20
Okay well, you know how I said that I was going to lay low this week? I was wrong.
Tomorrow, all the guys and me are going to go to a photoshoot. A PHOTOSHOOT!
It's a photoshoot for SHINee's American Dongseng. I think they said that the concept was going to try and show SHINee off as big brothers. (Geez, I never would have guessed that if they hadn't told me)
Also, I was talking to my manager today (Still weird having a manager), and I asked her how it was that my "training" was only gong to last 6 weeks. She said that I would be continuing my training after the show was over and I probably wouldn't debut on stage for quite a while.
However, the company has acknowledged that I do have previous skill from being in plays and singing at school and such, and that I have a good amount of natural talent when it comes to singing. (I won the "Best Vocalist" award at my school 2 years in a row!)
That being said, the show is mostly going to introduce me to the world as a celebrity, focusing a lot on my relationship with SHINee, but also making sure I get trained to dance properly.
I am SUPER exicted about that, by the way. I've been wanting to take dance lessons for a long time, but never had the time or the money. I don't think it's going to be easy, but I am very persistent. I think I'll be okay.
Anyway, it's late and I have a PHOTOSHOOT in the morning! Nighty-night!
Monday, July 21
Today we had our photoshoot. Honestly? It was a lot of fun!
First though, thank GOD for makeup and hair stylists. I have absolutely no experience applying makeup or doing anything to my hair other than brushing it.
Luckily, I actually have lots of experience sitting still while people play with my hair and face. I was in my first play when I was 11, and the people applying my makeup practically had to strap me down to keep me still, especially when putting on my eyeliner. But 12 plays later, I know the drill.
First we did a group shot. They guys were all dressed in nice, but casual clothes, and I was wearing a SUPER cute short blue sundress. I sat in the middle f a sofa, with Jonghyun on my left and Taemin on my right. The other three guys stood in the back.
After that, we took pictures of me with each member individually. Onew and I sat at a table with coffee cups in front of us, laughing and having a very good time.
Jonghyun and I went walking around outside and went site-seeing. The photographer took pictures of us in a park, by a lake, stuff like that. Although no place where there would be lots of people.
For Key, they brought out a large rack of clothes and took pictures of Key pretending to help me pick an outfit. He's probably much better at that than I am anyway.
With Minho, we did a cooking scene. (Don't ask me what that's all about) But we wore aprons and threw flour at each other and made a huge mess.
And Finally, we took lots of pictures of Taemin and I on a swingset. We played together, then he pushed me, and then I pushed him.
Overall, I think the pictures will turn out great! If making SHINee's American Dongseng is anything like that photoshoot, I'm really looking forward to it.
Oh and one more thing. It get's really tiring to write out SHINee's American Dongseng, so from now on I may refer to it as SAD.
Pahahahaha! SAD. ^_^
Ugh, I need sleep. I don't know what's happening tomorrow yet...
I guess I'll find out sooner or later...
I'd really like a day to just hang out with Taemin. I haven't really had the opportunity to since I got back, he's had lots of schedules and I've been having jet lag and manager meetings. We live in the same dorm but we haven't kissed since his birthday. That was two days ago!!
I miss him. We've been busy. Once SAD starts filming we'll be spending more time together, but not as Boyfriend-Girlfriend. instead it'll be as Oppa-Dongseng.
that'll be weird.
