CHAPTER 7: STEP UP

 

“We’re in a position” Sunny whispered on microphone hanging onto her

“Target spotted” Yuri spoke as she hide herself on the corner where she has a clear view to the target

 

“Wait for my instruction” Siwon spoke “Soo, can you get us an eye to the area?”

“Working on it” Sooyoung answered as she type continuously on the keyboard “I got it”, she said, then a live video on the area appeared on the screen of the Black Order

 

“Taeng secure the perimeters” Siwon said “Make sure no one can leave the area”

“Copy” Taeyeon answered, as she signaled her team

 

“Yul, keep an eye to the target… don’t take your eyes off of him” Siwon said

“Copy”

 

“So, I hope we can make other good deals in the future” Randy said

“I hope so” PSY answered as she extended his hand

Then they both grabbed the attaché case and ready to leave,

“Now!” Siwon spoke

 

Taeyeon went to secure all the places where the target can run, Sunny and her team on Randy’s group, while Yuri on PSY’s group.

Yuri was walking silently, closer to the target when one of PSY’s people saw her

 

 

BANG!

 

“!” Yuri hissed as she hides herself “I’ve been covered… I’ve been covered”

Randy and PSY’s group both got surprised by the gunshot

“Sir, we have to leave now” one of PSY’s bodyguard said

While running to their runaway car, PSY’s other members are continued to fire back on Yuri’s Team

 

“We need him alive” Siwon spoke “I repeat we need him alive”

A sound of a gunshot can be heard everywhere

PSY got on the car and his driver quickly started it, Yuri shoots one of the tires.

“Get out of the car!” Yuri shouted while pointing their gun to the car “You’re surrounded!”

PSY and his driver slowly went out of the car

“Put your hands up!” Yuri commanded, still pointing the gun

 

The two boys’ put their hands up

Yuri slowly walking to PSY

 

“What is this?” Sooyoung asked as she continues typing on her keyboard. She got a signal inside the car

“What is it?” Siwon asked

“There’s a bomb” Sooyoung said “There’s a bomb inside the car!”

“Get out of there!” Siwon shouted

“Why?” Yuri asked confusedly as she stopped from walking

 

“They got a bomb!” Siwon shouted “Get out of there!”

 

Yuri widened her eyes as she started to run

 

Boom!

 

The camera on the BLACK ORDER lost their signal

 

“What happen?” Siwon asked, looking at Sooyoung

“The camera might be damage due to explosion” Sooyoung answered

 

“What is that?!” Taeyeon still in position

“The getaway car had a bomb” It was Sooyoung

“What?!” Taeyeon asked as she runs to the explosion “Where is Yuri?”

“We lost the camera” Sooyoung answered

 

Siwon punched the desk in front of him

 

“Yul!” Taeyeon shouted “Yuri!” as she looked around, she can’t see clearly because of the heavy smoke caused by the explosion

 

“Is everyone alright?” Siwon asked, sweating cold

“—“ no response on Yuri’steam

 

Siwon gulped and continue sweating like hell “Can anyone here me?”

 

 

“Y-yeah” Yuri spoke, not clearly but enough for them to know that she’s alive

Then other member’s of Yuri’s team, people from the Black Order sigh in relief.

 

“Yuri!” Taeyeon shouted, when she saw Yuri lying on the ground

“Don’t worry” Yuri spoke, still lying on the ground “They missed”

“I know, you just got bomb but you have to leave now” Sooyoung said “cops are coming on your way”

 

 

BLACK ORDER

 

Yuri let out a sighed as she sat on the chair and leaned backwards

“Guy’s don’t be upset” Siwon said as he sat down “All of you did a great job”

“We almost had him” Yuri said disappointedly

“I know but it’s not our fault” Siwon said “Who would’ve thought that they got a bomb and ready to kill their selves”

 

“Sunny’s team captured Randy, we will start from him” Siwon said “Don’t worry, we will find another lead to Neptune, for now just go home and rest, we will update all of you if we find something new”

 

Then the entire agent on the meeting stood up

“Yul” Siwon called as he stepped closer to Yuri “Congrats on your wedding” Siwon said as he smiled to Yuri

Yuri gave him a smile “Thanks.”

 

“Sent my apologies to Mrs. Kwon for taking you when you’re supposed to be in your honeymoon" Siwon said

“h-honeym-moon?” Yuri thought, as she stared blankly and lost and her own world

“I’ll go now” Siwon said as she tapped Yuri’s shoulder

 

Yuri got back to her senses when she heard Taeyeon chuckling

“What?”

 “You should’ve seen your face when he said honeymoon, it’s priceless”

“Whatever!” Yuri said then left Taeyeon who’s laughing by herself

“Wait!” As she followed Yuri

“He’s right!” Taeyeon said when she catches up to Yuri “It’s supposed to be your honeymoon”

Yuri eyed her

“Why don’t you lose up a bit, you almost die today.” Taeyeon said “Do you have any idea how scared I was earlier?”

“I know…”

“You don’t get to die on my watch you hear me? I don’t want to be the one to tell your wife that you’re dead”

Yuri smiles at her “I won’t. “

 

“You’ll straight home?” Yuri asked when they reached the parking lot

Taeyeon nodded “I want to rest, you?”

“Me too.” Yuri answered, as she stood in front of her car “I would kill for a good soft bed and 10 hours of sleep right now”

“Me too.” Taeyeon said “Make sure I have a room in your new house with good soft bed”

 

“.”

“Why?”

“Want to come with me?” Yuri asked

Taeyeon looked at her confusedly

“Actually” Yuri said as she stepped closer to Taeyeon “Me and Jessica’s house is still empty”

“Empty?” Taeyeon asked “What do you mean empty?”

“Empty. No chair, table just a house” Yuri explained

“Didn’t you tell your dad  that everything’s in place in your new house?”

“Yeah, well he wanted to buy everything for the house so I told him that everything’s settled. I was planning to buy a week ago but we became busy on this PSY thing” Yuri said “then it slipped on my mind”

“Just buy tomorrow” Taeyeon said “We have to really rest now, especially you, your bruises are still fresh, just go to your parents house, pretty sure they are not that excited to kick you off the house”

“Mom..”

“why?” Taeyeon asked

“Well I was thinking of moving out next week” Yuri said “then yesterday my Mom called and asking me when we are planning to move out”

“And?” Taeyeon asked

“I told her today” Yuri said

“Today?” Taeyeon asked “Are you planning to sleep on the floor?”

“I know” Yuri said “but if I told her that I was planning to move out in a week, she won’t stop asking me why and there’s no way I will tell her that we have no single chair in our house”

 

“So you coming with me or not?” Yuri asked

“Don’t you think you should go with Jessica for that?”

 

Yuri looked at her

 

“I mean, it’s your bed, your chair, your house not mine” Taeyeon explained “and I think it might be a chance for two of you to at least step up your very awkward marriage”

 

“Mom, I’m home!” Yuri said when she got inside their house

“How’s your flight?” MRs. Kwon asked as she hugged Yuri

 

Yuri winced in pain.

 

“Tiring” Yuri answered, as she hugged Mrs. Kwon back

“Ready to move out?” Mrs. Kwon asked, as she broke the hugged

“Do you really want to get rid of me that badly?” Yuri asked playfully

 

Mrs. Kwon chuckled

 

Yuri sighed “I think I really have to leave now”

“Better be” Mrs. Kwon said jokingly

 

Yuri entered her room and took her travelling bag

She starts packing her things when she remembered what Taeyeon told her ‘you two can use this chance to step up’

 

Yuri put down the clothes on her bed then took her phone

“Argh!” Yuri said in frustration “Of Course, I don’t have her number” She threw her phone on the bed, and then went to take a shower
