CHAPTER 1: BLACK PEARL AND BLONDE GIRL

 

“They’re going inside” The tall girl with black hair whispered on the mic hanging on her clothes “it’s Black Pearl, I’m following them… I’m going in”

“Copy” A girl answered on the other line “and Yul, why are you using your code name, it’s just two of us”

“We are in a mission, remember?”

“Copy that” the girl on the other line said

 

Yuri went inside the building.

“Wait!!” Yuri said as she rush to the elevator before it close “Thank you” she said as she looked at the man who’s beside her

The two men just gave her a smile

 

 

Ding Dong!

 

The elevator opened and the two men went out.

 

“34^th floor” Yuri whispered, then went out to followed the two men again “They’re going into the south penthouse”

“Go to room 106” the girl on the other line said as she looked at the screen, showing the blue print of the building

“Can you check if someone was staying there?” the tall girl asked

“Why don’t you check it out yourself?” the girl on the other line answered jokingly

Yuri sighed “Taeng…”

Taeyeon chuckled “It’s empty, and we’re on a mission, you’re not supposed to call me Taeng”

“Got that… Blue Rabbit” Yuri said as she looked around before she unlocked the door

 

“Got it”, Yuri said then entered the room

 

“Woah!!” Yuri uttered when she got at the corner of the building “It’s harder than I thought” she said while climbing up

“Just make sure, you wouldn’t fall”

“Don’t worry” Yuri said “I got it”

 

“So, how many?” Yuri asked as she stood and hide at the corner of the penthouse

“Let’s see” Taeyeon said as she looked at the screen using a satellite “2 men on the tuxedo, I guess it’s the boss…, 4 men outside guarding the door, and 4 men with a gun inside the room,”

 

“Ready?” Yuri asked

“I’m the one who should ask you that” Taeyeon said “Are you?’

Yuri smiled “Hell, yeah”…

“Just 10 seconds” Taeyeon said

“Copy that.”

 

Then suddenly the building went blackout “Now!”

Yuri immediately went inside the room

Yuri shot the first two men using a silencer

Then the door open, the 4 men guarding outside went inside the room

“Sir, where ar—“ The man couldn’t finish what she’s going to say when Yuri shot her

Then the two other men who’s also holding a gun

“7”

“Sir, you have to leave now!” one man said

“6”

Then she saw two men immediately went to the door

“5”

She immediately shot the 2 man

“3”

“Si—“ the man couldn’t finish what he’s gonna say

“2”

“Whe---“ another man down again

“1”

And the last man fell

“0”

Then the light turned back.

“Mission accomplished” Yuri said as she looked around and saw all of the unconscious body

 

 

“YUL!!!” Taeyeon shouted as she went closer to Yuri “Congrats!”, Taeyeon said as she locked her arms on Yuri’s neck

“Congrats to us… Blue Rabbit” Yuri said happily

 

“But Taeng seriously, why Blue Rabbit?” Yuri asked

“Well, I love blue, and someone said that I look like a rabbit” Taeyeon explained “why?”

“Nothing… I find it weird” Yuri answered

“Code names are weird” Taeyeon said jokingly “right, Black Pearl?”

“Don’t make fun of it… you’re the one who gave that name to me” Yuri said

“I won’t”

 

“Hey Dad!”

“I heard, you accomplished another one” Mr. Kwon said

“I’m just like you” Yuri said

Mr. Kwon smiled “I’m so proud of you”

“I w---“ Yuri couldn’t finish what she’s going to say when her mother came

“What are you talking about?” Mrs. Kwon asked as she sat beside Mr. Kwon

“Nothing” Mr. Kwon answered “Just, father, daughter thing”,

“Yuri…” Mrs. Kwon said as she looked at Yuri

“Father, daughter thing” Yuri said as she went and kissed her mother’s cheeks “I’m going to bed and sleep now” she said then winked at her father

 

“You’re going somewhere?” Yuri asked when she saw her dad, packing a few things on his bag

“Yeah… I got a mission” Mr. Kwon answered

“Where is mom?” Yuri asked “what did you tell her?”

“Just the usual, a business trip” Mr. Kwon answered

“I am really, really thankful that we have a business that we can use as an excuse” Yuri said

“That’s the reason why I built that business” Mr. Kwon said “To hide our little secret”

“Do you have any plan on telling her?”

“If I tell her, she’s going to kill me for making my daughter like me”

Yuri laughed “she’s going to kill us both”

“And it’s better if she doesn’t know anything”

Yuri sighed “don’t you feel guilty?”

“Trust me… I do. But what can I do, lying is part of being an agent… secret agent”

“I know but—“

“When you got your own family, you’ll understand me”

“Are you asking me to marry someone again?” Yuri asked jokingly

 

Mr. Kwon laughed “If I have, would you marry then?”

“I won’t” Yuri answered “so don’t even bother”

Mr. Kwon laughed “Don’t worry… I’m tired getting rejected by you”

“And I won’t get tired rejecting you” Yuri said “having a family right now, is not even on my plan, I can’t even see myself with someone”

 

 

After 3 days

 

“Hi Dad” Yuri greeted as soon as she saw her dad “How’s your business trip?”

“I did well” Mr. Kwon said proudly

“Of course you did” Yuri said, and then notices a man behind her father

“Yuri is that you?” The man asked

“Uncle Jung? Is that you?” Yuri asked in amazement

Mr. Jung smiled “you’ve grown up”

“Are you on a vacation?” Yuri asked

“Actually, I’m here to talk to you” Mr. Jung said in a serious tone

“Talk to me?” Yuri asked confusedly, and then she looked at Mr. Kwon

Mr. Kwon just looked down.

 

 

“Dad, No” The blonde girl shouted

“Jessica, you’re going to be a mother” Mr. Jung said “and I want her to grow with a whole family”

“But it doesn’t give you any right to force me to marry someone!”

“If you’d just listen to me before, we are not having this conversation right now!” Mr. Jung shouted back “I told you not to trust him”

“But I can’t marry her or anyone just because the father of my child left me!” Jessica screamed “And it’s better for my daughter to grow up without a father than grow up with 2 mothers”

 “She’s not just some girl. I’ve known her my whole life”

“I don’t care! It is not going to happen”

“Yes, it is.” Mr. Jung said “And you should be thankful that she’s going to save you and will take care of you”

“Saving me?” Jessica mocked “How? By marrying me? How the hell she’s saving me, when she’s going to ruin my life?”

“She will take care of you” Mr. Jung said “I’m sure on that”

“Dad! I don’t even know her! How can you expect me to marry her?!”

“No matter what you said, whether you like it or not, you’re going to marry her” Mr. Jung said, “Be sure to look at this… so you would know something about her”… then he put the folder on the table before went out of the room

“Dad! Dad!” Jessica shouted, but Mr. Jung left without looking at her

 

“Jessica” Mrs. Jung walked towards Jessica, and hugged her

“Mom, can you talk to him?” Jessica asked now crying “I don’t want to get married”

“I’m sorry, sweetie” Ms. Jung said as she patted Jessica’s back “I don’t think I can change his mind… and like him I want to grow my grandchild with a whole family”

“Mom,” Jessica said helplessly
