“Taeng!..” Yuri called fixing her things “aren’t you going home?”

“I’ll finish this, then I will go home” Taeyeon answered busy typing on the computer

“then I’ll go fi-----“,

 

“Kwon Yuri, Kim Taeyeon at the conference now!” Siwon said, and you might have forgot about him, he is the captain..

 

Taeyeon and Yuri glance at each other with a questioning look, as they both go to the conference room

 

“is something wrong?” Taeyeon asked

“Jung Yonghwa, our operative in France has gone dark” Siwon said

“is he dead?” Yuri asked

“hopefully not” Siwon answered “he hasn’t touch his panic button… he was running down the lead in Paris…”

 

Siwon both looked at Taeyeon and Yuri “I know, you got a pregnant wife at home Yul but almost all of our agents are on their assignments and I can’t think of someone else who can do this than you two”

 

“I can go alone” Taeyeon said as she looked at Yuri “if he’s not in trouble and just making sure if he’s okay, I don’t think Yuri and I need to be there together”

“as much as I don’t want to waste any resources on this one, especially you both., we can’t take the risk” Siwon explained “he never miss to check in and if he’s been compromise going there alone is not good”

“I understand..” Yuri said “I can’t let you go there alone, Taeng..”

“but Yul I-----“ Taeyeon got interrupted when Yuri’s phone ring

 

Ring! Ring!

 

“hey Kr------“

“SHE’S HAVING THE BABY!” Krystal shouted on the other line

“what? Where are you?” Yuri asked as she hurriedly got up from her seat

“Yul what happen?” Taeyeon asked worriedly

“Jessica’s having the baby!” Yuri answered as she hurriedly went outside the conference, followed by Taeyeon

 

“Yuri!, Taeyeon!” Siwon called them

“let’s talk about this tommor----“

“you’re leaving tonight” Siwon said

“what? No… I can’t!” Yuri stated “My wife just ha-----“

“Ms. Kwon that’s an order” Siwon said

“can I stay for tonight, I promise we will leave first thing in the morning” Yuri said

“until midnight… I’m sorry Yul, that’s all I can give you” Siwon said

 

 

A sound of tires screeching echoed in front of the hospital as both Taeyeon and Yuri went outside the car, run inside the hospital…

 

“excuse me, where’s ER?” Yuri asked

“just go there, straight” the nurse answered

 

“Krystal!” Yuri shouted as soon as she saw Krystal waiting outside the ER

“oppa!” Krystal said “she’s inside”

 

Yuri went directly to the emergency room, as she saw Jessica lying there with pain evident on her face

 

“I’m here, I’m here” Yuri said as she holds Jessica’s hand

“ahhhh!” Jessica groan as she made a push

“you gotta push harder Miss Kwon” the doctor said

“you can do it, you can do it” Yuri said holding Jessica’s hand

“Yul it hurts” Jessica said as she tried to take her breath, as her eyes starts become teary

 

Yuri’s eyes starting to become teary, seeing Jessica in much pain and can’t do anything about it, is the worst feeling ever…

 

“I can see the Ms. Kwon… just one last push!” the doctor

“AHHHHH!!!” Jessica groaned as she pushed with all of her strength, as they both heard the first cry of their daughter

 

Yuri kissed Jessica’s forehead, “you did it… you did it”

 

Jessica smile as she reached out her hand to take her baby and kissed her…

 

Yuri went inside Jessica’s room quietly, as she sits beside her…

“I know this is the definition of a y timing and I’m sorry, I have to leave…” Yuri said “as much as I wanna say goodbye to you personally, I don’t think you will wake up until tomorrow, you’re such a sleepyhead” Yuri chuckled

“How I wish I could just stay here and wait for you to wake up,” she said a she tucks strand of Jessica’s hair on her ear, and kissed her forehead “I will miss you”

 

 

“you should stay here” Taeyeon said

“I can’t let you go alone there” Yuri said “if Yonghwa is dead that means he’s been compromise from the lead that he’s running, It means dangerous”

“but your family need you more right now” Taeyeon said

“she will understand…” Yuri said

“but Yul-----“

“don’t I look like her?” Yuri asked looking at the baby

 

Taeyeon sigh as she smiled “yeah… she totally looks like you”

 

 

“hey, you’re really a mother now” Tiffany welcome Jessica as soon as she opened her eyes

 

Jessica smile at the thought of her baby “thanks…”

“how are you feeling?” Tiffany asked

“I feel like every bone in my body is braking” Jessica joked

 

Tiffany chuckled “does it hurt?”

 

“like hell…” Jessica laughed

 

“where is she?” Jessica asked looking around the room

“they’re still checking your baby, you know some baby things” Tiffany said

“Yuri?” Jessica asked “is she with Krystal?”

“she left…” Tiffany said

“where did she go?” Jessica asked

“she left this for you…” Tiffany said as she handed her a letter

 

 

 

"If you’re reading this now means I’m probably on my way out there somewhere and I’m really, really sorry for leaving like this, I know I should be here right now, on your side, but I’m not and I’m sorry for that, God knows how much I wanted to be with both of you right now, but something happened and it something that I need to do… But don’t ever think that the reason I’m leaving is more important than both of you because you, and are most important things in my life, I will comeback as soon as I can, I promise…"

Jessica smiled as she finished reading the letter

 

“Taeyeon said that it’s urgent, Yuri’s been waiting for you to wake up all night but of course the sleepy head you are… you just woke up” Tiffany said smiling

“did Taeyeon say where they are going?” Jessica asked “Yuri didn’t say”

“no… all she said that it was a business trip…” Tiffany said “but I’m sure they’ll be here before we knew it”

A sound of camera echoed inside the room

 

“it’s perfect…” Tiffany said as she showed her the picture of Jessica and the baby

“she totally looks like her…” Jessica said staring at the baby “her forehead, nose even the curve of her lips, it’s all Yuri’s”

 

Tiffany smiled “yeah… but, she got your color”

 

Jessica chuckled “do you think she’ll take my eyes?”

“I hope she’ll get my eyes” Tiffany joked

“I am the mother, she should take mine” Jessica said

“but mine is beautiful… Tae-tae said so” Tiffany said proudly

“well, your Tae-tae is blind” Jessica joked

“yah!” Tiffany said

 

Jessica chuckled… “it doesn’t matter who’ll you take your eyes from, I’m sure it’s gonna be perfect…”

 

 

“can’t sleep?” Jessica asked when she saw Tiffany at the kitchen late at night, Tiffany decided to stay in Jessica’s place until Yuri came home

“yeah… I’m trying to call Taeyeon but I can’t still get through…” Tiffany disappointedly answered “it’s been 36 hours, and we still haven’t heard anything from them”

 

Jessica sigh… “same with Yuri… it never happened before, what if somethi---“

 

“hey… don’t say that” Tiffany said, but frighten was evident on her voice “I’m sure they will call as soon as they can, they probably busy right trying to finish everything so they can come home immediately”

 

Jessica smile lightly, then baby’s cry echoed in the house

 

Tiffany smile at the sound of the baby “looks like little Yoona wants her milk now”

 

Jessica smiled as they both walk but stopped at the sound of glass shuttered, Tiffany hit the glass that she use earlier…

Jessica and Tiffany look at each other, as the beat of their hearts, starts to rise…

 

 

Both Tiffany and Jessica runs as fast as they could when they heard the police calling from their door

 

“where are they?, has you contact them? Where did they go?” Tiffany and Jessica asked continuously

 

“I’m sorry Ms. Kwon, Ms. Hwang” the police officer apologize “until now, we still can’t find any lead on where th-----“

 

“are you really doing your job?!” Jessica burst out “it’s been two months!. Two months and you still don’t know where they went!”

“you can go now..” Tiffany said trying to calm herself “just don’t come here if you have nothing anything good to say”

 

“Jessica, please calm down” Tiffany said

“calm down?!, Tiffany two months!... they’ve been missing for two months and you want me to calm down?!” Jessica totally lost it “we don’t know what happen or if they’re still alive… we don’t know anything and you want me to calm down”

“Don’t you think I don’t know that?” Tiffany’s eyes become teary “Jessica, I know that!... there was not any moment that I forget that… you’re not the only one who’s losing a mind thinking where are they… you’re not the only one who feels like dying every time they come here and tell us that they’re still missing… but I’m trying hard to keep it altogether wishing that one day I could hold Taeyeon’s again”

 

FLASHBACK

 

“hey, Boo…” Taeyeon said as she back hugged Tiffany

“hmm?” Tiffany hummed as she leaned her body to Taeyeon

“Yuri and I are going somewhere” Taeyeon said

 

Tiffany turned to her “where?”

 

“on a very important meeting” Taeyeon answered

“ahh, when? So I could fix your things” Tiffany said

“………….tonight…” Taeyeon said

“tonight?... as in tonight?” Tiffany repeats

“I know… my boss, he’s-----“

“is Yuri really gonna leave?” Tiffany asked “how about Jessica?”

“God knows how much Yuri wanted to stay” Taeyeon said “but she can’t”

“does it really have to be tonight? Can you just wait for Jessica to wake up?” Tiffany asked

“I’m sorry…” Taeyeon said

“I guess it can’t be help… when will you come back?” Tiffany asked

“after a day or two, don’t worry I’m back before you knew it” Taeyeon reassure her “I have to go now…”

 

“I will miss you” Tiffany said

 

Taeyeon smile “me too…”, she said as she kissed her forehead…

 

Tiffany looked at her while she’s walking on her way to the exit, then Taeyeon turned to her

 

“I miss you already!” Taeyeon said

 

Tiffany smiled as she runs to hugged her “then don’t be gone for too long”

 

Taeyeon hugged her tightly “I love you…”

 

“I love you too…” Tiffany said, as she pulled back “I think you should go now or I might not let you leave”

 

Taeyeon chuckled, “See you later…”

 

Tiffany nodded as she hold Taeyeon’s hand “I love you…”

 

“I love you too…” Taeyeon said as she let go of Tiffany’s hand

 

END OF FLASHBACK

 

 

Jessica is on her bed as she looks at the space beside her, then at the picture of Yuri on her side table

 

“yah!... are you really not gonna come home?” Jessica asked as her eyes starts tearing “just because Yoona looks a lot like you, doesn’t mean I don’t need to see you... I need you to wake me up every morning, I need you to keep me warm on a cold night, I need you eat the breakfast that I made… I need you Yul and I really, really miss you”
