CHAPTER 11: WIFE

 

“If I take my gun behind me with Tiffany here, I’m going to blow up my whole cover, but If I don’t one of us might die here!” Taeyeon thought “Taeyeon think!!!”

 

Then the next second, a gunshot echoed.

 

Tiffany widened her eyes from shock, while Taeyeon looked at the man in front of them slowly falling on the ground…

 

“You two okay?” Amber asked from the small mic hanging on her clothes

“Yeah… thank you” Taeyeon whispered

“get her out of here” Amber said

 

Taeyeon took a deep breath as she turned around and looked at Tiffany “Let’s get out of he—“

 

“Yah!” Tiffany yelled at her “He told you not to move!”

“I heard it” Taeyeon said in a calm voice

“You heard it?” Tiffany asked unbelievably “you ing heard it and you still move!”

“I’m fine, you’re fine, stop over-reacting” Taeyeon said calmly as if they weren’t in the verge of dying earlier

“I am not over-reacting! We could’ve died!”

 

Taeyeon paused for a moment as she looked at Tiffany, she’s right, they could’ve died.

“I didn’t come to this party to see a bloody person in front of me!” Tiffany said lowering her voice,

“Well I didn’t come here to see someone die right in front of me, either.” Taeyeon said in a serious tone “So let’s go now, before someone really shoots both of us” she said as she turned around and starts to walk

Taeyeon sighed as she turned around and looked at Tiffany whose still on her place

 

 

Taeyeon sighed as she back towards Tiffany “I’m sorry, I really do, now, let’s get out o—“, Tiffany brushed her on the side and walked without looking at her

 

Taeyeon sighed heavily while looking at Tiffany “it’s better if he shot me and die first than see someone die right before my eyes”

 

“Where’s Hodong?!” Yuri asked while running holding her gun

“He’s heading south” Sooyoung answered “where’s Mr. Yoo?”

“He’s dead” Yuri answered as she opened the door and took a staircase

“He’s armed” Sooyoung reminded her

“It’s okay… I got this” Yuri said “just keep an eye on him”

 

“Mr. Kang!” Yuri shouted as she pointed the gun at him

Mr. Kang ignored her and was about to turned the door knob

 

Bang! Yuri fired upward that made Mr. Kang stopped from moving

 

“Put your hands behind and knees on the floor!” Yuri commanded as she walked closer to him

Mr. Kang slowly turned around and looked at her smirking

 

“Hands behind!” Yuri shouted as she pointed her gun to him

Mr. Kang laughed “I didn’t know that someone like you can point a gun at someone”

“I can also pull a trigger” Yuri said in a serious tone “so don’t make me”

Then Sunny and other agents of Black Order came

“You have no idea who you’re up against” Mr. Kang said

“Yeah, you’re right, we have no idea” Yuri said as she cuffed him “that’s why you’re going to tell us”

 

Mr. Kang laughed “And do you really think that I would?”

 

“You ca---“

“Siwon said it’s not good if someone saw you with Mr. Kang going outside” Brian said “you better leave now, the police will handle him”

Yuri nodded as she went out of the room

 

“You two okay?” Yuri asked when she saw Taeyeon and Tiffany outside

Taeyeon nodded

“Whatever!” Tiffany said as she left them

“Don’t mind her” Taeyeon said, as they saw Mr. Kang with the police

 

Taeyeon and Yuri was looking at him when suddenly they saw Mr. Kang smile evilly

Taeyeon and Yuri looked at each other, then suddenly, two gunshot went out.

And the next thing they knew… Kang Hodong, lifelessly lying on the ground, bathing in his own blood

 

 

 “who is that?” Jessica asked when she heard a knock on the door as she continues reading the paper in front of her

“---------“

“Who is that?” Jessica asked again

“--------“

Jessica put down her pen annoyingly as she took her phone and called her secretary.

 

Jessica looked at her phone in disbelief when she didn’t answer her call “where did that girl go?”

Then another knock again.

Jessica annoyingly got up from her chair and headed to the door… Jessica was about to turn the door knob when the knock continues.

 

“Yah!” Jessica yelled as she opened the door “I heard you th---“  she couldn’t finish what she’s going to say when she saw Yuri, smiling at her widely

 

“Yu---, you okay?” Jessica asked as she cupped Yuri’s face, and turned it side to side

“y-ye-a-ah” Yuri answered

“You sure?” Jessica asked still cupping her face

“y-yeah” Yuri said as she smiled to Jessica “safe and sound”

Jessica sighed in relief as she hugged Yuri tightly “don’t make me worried like that again”

 

I was really worried when Tiffany told me what happened, even though she told me that they were fine I couldn’t help it and now that she’s standing here in front of me that I could fully felt relief . I hugged her unconsciously as if it’s the right thing to do at this moment.

 

 

“Good Morn---“, Yuri couldn’t finish what she’s’ going to say when Jessica run through the bathroom and threw up

It’s been a week since the incident in U.S happen, and it’s been a week since Jessica starts to throw up every morning.

 

“Here” I said as I gave her a tissue and patting her back

“Thanks”

“I think we need to go to hospital”

 

Jessica shook her head “it’s okay… the doctor said it’s normal for a pregnant woman”

“But, you look pale”

“I’m fine” Jessica said and gave her a reassuring smile but didn’t really assure her at all

“What about, you cook something for me” Jessica said

“What do you want to eat?”

“Anything… as long as it’s delicious”

 

Supermarket

 

“Yuri…” Jessica called my name

“Yes?” Yuri uttered as she looked at her

“I forgot to take a sugar” Jessica said “Wait for me here”

“I’l---“, but before Yuri could finish what she’s going to say Jessica made her way on Sugar’s section

“I’ll be fast”

 

Yuri was waiting for Jessica when someone called her.

“Yuri!” she quickly turned around to looked at the owner of the voice

“Oh God, Sunhwa.”

 

 

FLASHBACK

 

“That’s Han Sunhwa, secretary of Mr. Yong, she have a card that can access through Mr. Yong’s office” Sunny said “so if we can take that card we can easily go inside”

“So, how do we take it?” Yuri asked

Sunny and other member of the team looked at her smiling evilly

 

“It’s a really, really bad idea” Yuri said on the mic hanging on her clothes

“No, it’s not.” Taeyeon said “It’s the best and easy option; it’s like a walk in a park”

“No, it’s not.”

“Yes it is. I mean how could flirting with a beautiful woman be not easy?”

“I don’t care if she’s beautiful” Yuri said

“I think she likes you” Taeyeon said as she took a vodka “she keep looking at you”

Yuri sighed heavily

“She’s coming on your way”

“I’m not go---“

“Need a company?” Sunhwa asked as she stood behind her

 

“Good luck” Taeyeon teased

 

“It’s my pleasure” Yuri said as she smiled at her

“So, you alone?”

“Not anymore” Yuri said as she gave Sunhwa a glass of wine

 

“Nice Yul!” Taeyeon teased “Nice one!”

 

“I’m going to kill you later” Yuri thought

 

Sunhwa gave her a smile “how about”, then she leaned closer to me “be with me tonight”, she said seductively

 

Yuri gulped really hard

 

“See? How is that not easy? I’m jealous!” Taeyeon continues

 

“Sounds fun” Yuri said as she drink the vodka and took Sunhwa’s hand

 

When we got into a room, she gave her sleeping pill and before anything happens she fell asleep…

The next morning she woke up and Yuri told her that she’s going to call her but she never did.

YURI’S POV

 

“Yul, I miss you” Sunhwa said as she wrapped her arms on my neck

“a-h-aa” I don’t know what to say, I smiled awkwardly, as I try to take her arms off of me

“I thought you’re going to call me” Sunhwa said, tightening her arms on me

“Sorry, I change my phone, and lost your number” I lied as I looked around to see if Jessica is on our way

“Really?” Sunhwa asked

I nodded, as I looked around and saw people already staring at us

“People are staring at us” I said as I try to take her arms off of me

 

Sunhwa looked around “Don’t mind them”

 

“I ha—“

 

“Y-Yuri?”

Sunhwa and I both looked around and turned to her

I quickly and this time I use a force to take her arms off of me,

 

“J-Jessica” I said as I looked at Jessica who’s staring at us

 

I swallowed really hard and I’m sweating like hell, she’s staring at us that I never saw before… I feel like if stare could kill, Sunhwa and I are both dead by now.

JESSICA’S POV

 

“I went to take some Sugar and when I was on my way to where I left Yuri I saw people staring at some particular place…”

“Of course it doesn’t bother me at all, but I felt like my heart, hurts as if it was stabbed by something when I saw a girl, not just a girl but a white, beautiful girl wrapping her arms on Yuri”

 

“Y-Yuri?” I managed to say even if I feel like dying now

She quickly turned around and takes that girls arms off of her and looked at me

“J-Jessica” Yuri said as she walked closer to Jessica and took the Sugar that she’s holding

Jessica gave her the Sugar, not bothering to look at Yuri and just staring at Sunhwa who’s staring also staring at her

Yuri was sweating like hell, while looking at two girls who’s having a staring contest “Oh God, can you make a hole under me and let me fall now”

 

“J-Jessica this is S-Sunhwa my friend” Yuri said stuttering as she pointed to Sunhwa who’s smiling flirtingly on Yuri “Sunhwa this is Jessica my w---“,
