Taeyeon stopped her car in front of Tiffany’s house, stepped outside carrying a pack of foods for lunch… she’s gonna knock the door when she noticed that the door was open…

She slowly turned the knob as she walks silently inside…

 

“Tiffany…” she called, taking a step carefully

“-----“

“Tiff----“, She sighed in relief, Tiffany is sitting on the sofa of her living, busy typing on her laptop while listening to something wearing an earphone…

 

“Tiffany…” She called again

“---“, but Tiffany still unaware that she’s there

 

She stepped closer as she gently tapped her shoulder… and before Taeyeon could say anything… Tiffany grabbed her arm then twists it….

 

 

“ahhh…ahhh!!” Taeyeon groaned

“Taeyeon?” Tiffany asked in disbelief, still holding tightly on Taeyeon’s arms

 

Taeyeon smiled, but failed to hide the pain on her twisted arm…

 

Tiffany let go of her in an instant “Oh God!, you scared the hell out of me!”

 

“I didn’t mean to scare you” Taeyeon said massaging her arm, “the door was opened… and I was calling you but you’re not answering”

 

Tiffany sighed “I’m sorry… I was doing something”

 

“I see” Taeyeon said as she looked at Tiffany’s laptop,

“what are you doing here?” Tiffany asked as she closed her laptop

“ahh, Yuri said that today is your day off” Taeyeon said

“and the connection why you’re here is….?” Tiffany asked

“I thought that maybe we could eat together” Taeyeon answered

“ahhh… I didn’t… cook anything” Tiffany said

“I knew it” Taeyeon said “so, I brought a lunch”

“I’m not hung---“

“it’s lonely to eat alone…” Taeyeon said as she looked at her “especially in a big place like this”

 

Then Tiffany remembered what she told her the other night…, now she’s regretting drinking too much because it ended telling her story, she’s not the type of person who likes to talk about her personal especially with a stranger like Taeyeon and the fact that Taeyeon is standing in front of her right now because she felt pity towards her, makes her hate it more…

 

“if you’re here because of what I told you the other night you don’t ha---“

“I never mention about what you said last night” Taeyeon cut her “all I said was it’s lonely to eat alone, and when I said that I wasn't talking about you”

 

Tiffany gave her a disbelief look

 

Taeyeon sighed as she looked at her “I called Yuri earlier to eat lunch with her, then she said that she can’t because today is also Jessica’s day off, the when she told me that it’s also your day off I came here, eating a lone is really not my thing”

 

“but I have to finish my---“

“it won’t take much of your time” Taeyeon cut her “and besides what’s the point of me coming here if I’m just gonna eat by myself”

“5 minutes” Tiffany said

“I’m not Sooyoung…I can’t chew that fast” Taeyeon said jokingly

“Sooyoung?” Tiffany asked

“my co-worker” Taeyeon answered “she can eat a dozen of this”

“impossible” Tiffany said

“trust me” Taeyeon said “how about 20?... please?”

 

Tiffany rolled her eyes “fine…”

 

Taeyeon chuckled “thanks…”

 

“you know you should really check your door” Taeyeon said “what’s the point of it, if you’re not locking it”

“I’ll keep that in mind” Tiffany said “don’t worry”

 

Taeyeon stared at her “don’t worry?... how can I not worry when every timeI’ m going here, it’s either some faceless man is or door open”

 

“hey!,” Tiffany snapped “you okay?”

“y-yeah… Of course” Taeyeon answered

“is your arm okay?” Tiffany asked

“yeah… but you almost took my arm off” Taeyeon answered

“well you scared the hell out of me” Tiffany said “adrenaline kick in”

“and remind me to not do that again” Taeyeon said

“so be sure to call the next time” Tiffany said

“next time?” Taeyeon asked, grinning “you mean, can I come over again?”

“y-yeah… w-why?” Tiffany asked stuttering “I mean…. We are friends, right?”

“well friends don’t tear each other arms off” Taeyeon teased

“I already apologized that” Tiffany said

“well, I do----“

 

Ring ! Ring! Ring!

 

“give me a minute” Taeyeon said as she distance herself from Tiffany and take the call

 

“hey… what’s up?” Taeyeon asked

“we’ve got something” Sooyoung said “you have to get here now”

“yeah… I’m on my way” Taeyeon said as she ended the call

 

“something wrong?” Tiffany asked

“no… just Sooyoung called and there’s an emergency” Taeyeon answered

“fast chewer, Sooyoung?” Tiffany joked

 

Taeyeon chuckled “yeah… and I should probably go now”

 

“Of course… of course” Tiffany said

 

 

“Taeyeon…” Tiffany called

“uhmm?” Taeyeon hummed as she looked at her

“are you…. gonna……. Drop by…. Later?” Tiffany asked hesitantly

 

A grinned formed on Taeyeon’s lips “should I?”

 

“n-no… I jus-----“

 

Taeyeon chuckled “well, sorry Ms. Hwang but I got some errands to do….. but maybe tomorrow?”

 

“Well, Ms. Kim… I just asked because I’m afraid that you drop by later and find an empty house” Tiffany said

 

“why?... you’re going somewhere?” Taeyeon asked

“yyup…. But don’t ask where” Tiffany said

“who said I’m gonna ask” Taeyeon teased “or should I?”

 

Tiffany looked at her unbelievably “you know…. Just go”

 

Taeyeon chuckled “I will or  ……………. Should I stay?”

 

“GO!” Tiffany said laughing

 

Taeyeon laughed “see you tomorrow…”

Tiffany just nodded “see you tomorrow”

 

“be sure to lock the door” Taeyeon remind

“I will…” Tiffany said

“L-O-C-K T-H-E D-O-O-R” Taeyeon repeat

“yes,… Ms. Kim… I will L-O-C-K T-H-E D-O-O-R” Tiffany said

“good…” Taeyeon said as she finally went outside

 

 

Taeyeon  was walking at the hallway when she received a text

 

She smiled unconsciously when she read where it came from

 

 

*Tiffany*

“if you’re worried that I didn’t lock the door… I already did… I double check it”

 

*Taeyeon*

“should I go there and see it for myself?”

 

*Tiffany*

“you can… but I’m not gonna open the door since it’s too hard to lock”

 

*Taeyeon*

“you lazy!”

 

*Tiffany*

“hahaha!, I got found out… XD”

 

 

“and what’s with smile?” Yuri asked walking towards her

“nothing” Taeyeon answered as she put her phone on her pocket

“I don’t think it’s nothing” Yuri said “you’re gonna rip your mouth off”

“how did you get here?” Taeyeon asked, changing the subject “what did you tell to Jessica?”

“how……about… you tell me who’s seeing you now” Yuri said

“I’m not seeing anyone” Taeyeon denied

“Liar…” Yuri stated

“I’m not lying” Taeyeon said

“then who’s the girl who’s always eating with you?” Yuri asked

“it’s Tiffany” Taeyeon said “and before you say something, there’s nothing going on between us”

“how can there be nothing going on between you when you’re always together?” Yuri asked

“well you can’t always eat with me now, because there’s Jessica” Taeyeon explained “and since Tiffany can’t also eat with Jessica because of you, we ate together”

“but Taeng, always?” Yuri asked “the word nothing, does not exist when you’re always together”

“you know, think what you want to think and for the record it’s not always, I’m a Neptune hunter, right?” Taeyeon said

 

 

 

Tiffany’s talking on the phone irritated

 

“can you just leave me alone?!” Tiffany asked but more like a demand

“hahaha!” the man on the other line laughed “your voice sounds good when you’re like that… it’s thrilling”

“stop bothering me, or that’ll be the last time that you wi---“

“what are you gonna do?” the man asked, mockingly “are you gonna kil—“

“I don’t have time for this, especially to you” Tiffany said, calming herself

“c’mon!, just be my date tonight” the man said

“are you deaf or something?!” Tiffany slowly raising her voice “I don’t want… so get the hell out of my life!”

“I heard…” the man answered “so, should I asked you’re little toy to accompany me tonight?”

“what are you sa---“

 

Ding Dong!

 

Tiffany looked at the door…

 

“should I as----“, before the man could finish what he’s gonna say Tiffany rushed to the door

 

“hi!” Taeyeon greeted cheerfully

 

Tiffany swallowed, starts to sweat, as she tight her grip on her phone…

 

“hey, you okay?” Taeyeon asked worriedly,

“y-yeah, Of course..” Tiffany answered as positive as she can “what are you doing here?”, she asked as she stepped outside

“I just wanna ask if we could ea---, you okay?” Taeyeon asked when she noticed Tiffany keep on looking around, outside

“yeah,...” Tiffany answered as she pulled Taeyeon inside and closed the door

“what’s wrong?” Taeyeon asked

“nothing…” Tiffany answered

“you look---“

“I’m really fine…” Tiffany cut her “I’m sure you’re here to eat again but I didn’t cook anything”

“I don’t really expect it” Taeyeon said “but, you mind if I take your kitchen?”

“no… you can use it” Tiffany answered “I’ll just change my clothes upstairs then I’ll help you”

 

 

Tiffany rushed to her room and closed the door

 

“can I join…?” the man on the other line asked, grinning

“leave her out of this!” Tiffany said

“I’m not doing anything” the man chuckled “but you’re mak---“

“what time?” Tiffany asked

 

The man laughed “wow!, I didn’t expect you lose like that easily”

 

“just tell me where the ing hell is tha----“

 

The man grinned “your voice sound better when you’re cussing”

 

“I’m go---“

“I’ll pick you up at seven..” the man said

 

Tiffany didn’t want to argue anymore and was gonna hung up when she heard him again

 

“since, that little toy of yours really help me to convince you, should I at least show my appreciation” the man said

 

Ding, Dong!

 

“what the hell was that?!” Tiffany asked

“for you to find out” the man answered

 

Tiffany rushed outside of her room

 

“Taeyeon!,Taeyeon!” Tiffany screamed while running downstairs

“Taeye----“

“hey!” Taeyeon said holding a box

“where did yo---who was that?” Tiffany asked worriedly

“pizza delivery…” Taeyeon answered “why?”

“y-yeah… pizza delivery” Tiffany said “where is he?”

“don’t worry, I’ve already paid” Taeyeon said

“you’re really sure you’re okay??” Taeyeon asked as she put down the box of pizza “you look pale”

 

Tiffany sighed “yeah…”, then looked at her phone as she put on her near

 

“wear a dress” the man said then hung up without waiting for her reply

 

“you don’t have to act like that just to tell me that don’t come here anymore” Taeyeon said jokingly, while staring at Tiffany, who’s spacing out since earlier

 

“huh?... no… of course not” Tiffany said as she took a glass of water

“then what’s with that look?” Taeyeon asked

“nothing…” Tiffany answered

“you sure?” Taeyeon asked “like seriously?”

 

Tiffany smiled “I’m seriously sure”

 

“since you’re serious… can I be serious too?” Taeyeon asked in a serious tone

 

Tiffany don’t know what to felt from Taeyeon’s seriousness “YAH!, you’re scaring me…” she said while laughing to lessen the tension

 

“I was thinking, you and me, we’re eating together, actually… most of the time we are together… and someone told me, that there’s no such thing as friend in two person who’s always together” Taeyeon said

 

Tiffany is sweating… nervous from what Taeyeon is saying…

 

“I was thinking if…. Can we take it to another step?” Taeyeon asked as she looked at Tiffany’s eyes

 

“I---ah…. Taeyeon, you’re kind, sweet…but I---“

“you don’t have to explain” Taeyeon cut her off “I’m cool with that”

“you don’t understand… I’d li---

“if you’ll say you’d like then you can’t then I’ll hurt more” Taeyeon said “I get it… I don’t know what we have or I guess, we had… it’s epic… but you just can’t”

“I’m sorry…” Tiffany said

“don’t… cause if you do, I’ll really feel sorry for myself” Taeyeon said as she walk towards the door “lock your door…”
