I'll Miss You, So Much

Fate Led Me to You

The rays of the sun peeked through the curtains, sending a stream of light to land on DongHae's face.  He rubbed his eyes and looked at the window, to find tiny particles swimming playfully.  DongHae took a glimpse at the clock, to find it was nine.  Looking next to him, he found his angel sleeping peacefully, as he brushed a stand of hair from her face.  He kissed her forehead lightly, causing her eyelids to gently flutter open.

"Morning, jagi," she sighed, staring dreamily at her boyfriend.

"Morning my princess," he replied with his tired, husky voice.

"Time to get up?" She questioned, a hint of disappointment in her voice.

"Mm," he said regretfully.

"5 more minutes, huh?" She pouted.  DongHae kissed her on the lips as a response, holding her close to his chest again.  He didn't want this moment to end; in fact, he wished time would just freeze right then and there.  HyunMi felt the same, too.  She didn't want to let go of her boyfriend, the man who saved her, the man who made her feel extreme bliss, the man who made her stomach flutter and her heart skip beats, and most importantly, the man who loved her.  The two of them stayed still, the warmth of their body mingling with the each others, their heart beats sounded a pattern of thumps.  A knock from the door broke their embrace.

"Yah, DongHae," Shindong's voice sounded, "Time to let go of your girlfriend and wash up!" Footsteps enchoed in the room as Shindong walked in and pulled the covers of them.  A rush of cold air rushed up HyunMi's spine, as she was only wearing a T-Shirt.

"YAH HYUNG!" DongHae yelled as he pulled the covers over HyunMi's legs.

"Mian mian!" Shindong apologized, his face turning crimson red.

"Don't do that again or else!" DongHae said, holding a fist up to Shindong's face.

"K-Kwenchana," HyunMi stuttered, shocked at the response of her boyfriend, "Shindong-ssi didn't mean it."  His body relaxed at her voice as he lowered his fists and brushed his thumb against her cheek.

"Tch, if you woke up then I wouldn't have done that," Shindong muttered as he exited the room, shuddering at the cheesiness that was going on with the couple.

"But still... I don't want my girlfriend to be too seducing you know," he said softly, staring deep into her warm eyes.  HyunMi's face began burning a bright pink as she raised the blankets over her face, trying to hide her embarrasment.

"Aigoo, is my princess shy?" He teased, trying to pull the blankets from her face.

"What if I wanted to be seducing?" HyunMi flashed a seductive smile at him.

"B-Bwo?" DongHae stuttered, caught off guard by her actions.

"I said," HyunMi raised her hand to DongHae's shoulders and drew imaginary circles, "What if I wanted to be seducing?"

"Tch, then I'll do this," he crashed his lips against her's, their bodies flat against one another.  His tongue brushed against her lips, making her shudder in pleasure.  His hands found the hem of the shirt and began lifting it, when HyunMi gasped and pulled away.

"W-What do you think you're doing?" She stammered, bewildered at her DongHae's actions.

"My revenge," he replied simply, "If you were to act seductive towards other men other than me!"

"I-I was joking, oppa!" HyunMi replied, flustered.

"Hm, but don't you like my revenge?" He asked, raising his eyebrows in wonder.

"A-Ani!  You pabo, go wash up before someone else comes in!"

"Aigoo, you do like it," he smiled as he left the room, leaving HyunMi still confused about the incident two minutes ago.

"Aish... always being so childish," she muttered to herself.  But for some reason, she couldn't help but smiling.  HyunMi walked into the living room to be welcomed by the smell of bacon.  She inhaled happily as she headed to the balcony to take in some fresh air.  She stepped out onto the cold stone patio and looked over her city.  Buildings rising from the ground, the sea shimmering in the sun's light.  Even though she has lived here her whole life, she never really took the time to experience her city's beauty, but it was more of a sight at night.

FLASHBACK

HyunMi carefully removed DongHae's hands around her.  She stepped out of the room and into the dark hallway, shivering as her feet came in contact with the cold floor.  The lights from the city snuck through the class door, creating a dim aura in the living room.  She silently opened the patio door and stepped into the chilly night air.  Her eyes looked over the city, admiring the way the cars raced through the roads.

"Can't sleep?" A voice came behind her.  It was Yesung.

"Ne," HyunMi admitted, "You?"

"Mm," he replied.  The two of them stood there in silence, intaking the beautiful sight in front of them.

"Yesung oppa," HyunMi said, breaking the silence, "Do you know who Henry likes?"

Yesung turned to her, staring her with curious eyes.

"Wae?"

"I was just wondering," she said, "because it was either SoEun or the two other girls."

"Why can't it be you too?"

"N-Ne?" HyunMi said, confused.

"He could like you too," he said, stating something HyunMi hadn't thought of.  But why would he like her?  Was that why he was so protective and supporting when DongHae hurt her?

"Ah..." HyunMi said, not knowing how to reply.

"Well, think about it.  If he likes someone, he shows it, keep an eye out for that.  Good night, sister-in-law!" He said, waving cutely before going back inside, leaving HyunMi standing on the patio.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Morning" A voice sounded behind her.  Startled, she turned around to find Henry.

"Good morning!" She said cheerfully.

"I have something to tell you," Henry said, staring emotionlessly at the ground.

"What is it?"

"Well..." Henry began, but SiWon interrupted before he could continue any further.

"It's breakfast time," he said calmy, peeking through the glass door with a book in his hand.

"Arraso, I'll go wash up first," HyunMi said, "and tell me later, Henry!"

She walked back inside as he leaned against the wall.  Just keep it to yourself, Henry, He thought to himself, don't ruin their relationship.  But deep down, he couldn't help but feel the need to tellk her how he felt, and how he was sorry he couldn't express it before DongHae did.  He swept the complicated thoughts out of his head before proceeding to the dining table.  At the same moment, HyunMi stepped into the living room as Ryeowook placed down the last plate.  Henry watched as she walked over to DongHae, who engulfed her into a hug and kissed her forehead.  She nuzzled her face into his neck, inhaling the intoxicating scent of him fresh out of the shower.  Henry clenched his fist in jealousy and anger, wishing that could've been him.

"Alright you two lovebirds, it's time to eat," Shindong said to the couple.  Everyone began eating silently, when ZhouMi pointed out something.

"DongHae, why do you have a ring on your finger?"

All the members stopped eating and directed their attention to a smiling DongHae, who dropped his fork and fiddled with the band wrapped snug around his ring finger on his right hand.

"Couple rings," he explained.  Henry looked over to HyunMi who was smiling.  His eyes caught sight of HyunMi's empty finger, which sent a rush of relief through him,  Though, his eyes landed on the delicate silver chain where a familiar looking ring was dangling from, his hopes quickly diminished.

"How about HyunMi's?" Kyuhyun asked, eyeing her finger.

"It's here," she smiled as she gently held the necklace DongHae gave her.

"It matches nicely with the... purple marks on your neck, sister-in-law," EunHyuk teased, earning a hit from SoEun.  The room bursted out in laughter as HyunMi buried her face in her hands, while DongHae chuckled and wrapped his arms around her.  Henry was eating his breakfast quietly, left out of the laughing session.  He didn't find EunHyuk's joke funny, though.  Instead, it somewhat infuriated him.  He sighed and excused himself as HyunMi lifted her face from her hands and watched him walk back into this room.

"What's wrong with Henry?" HyunMi whispered to DongHae.

"Girl problems," he replied, and it was true, though, he couldn't reveal that Henry liked her too.

"Ah... He has been like that since yesterday." Yesung's words lingered in her head: He can like you too.

"Mm, eat your breakfast," DongHae smiled at her.  HyunMi listened, but she still couldn't shake off her worries for Henry.  Everyone finished their breakfast with a light atmosphere and headed to their own rooms to pack their bags.

"Jagi-ah, do you guys usually pack right before you leave?" HyunMi asked, standing before DongHae's empty luggage.

"Mm, we don't have uch to pack so it doesn't really matter," he replied, taking clothes out of the wooden closet and throwing them carelessly on the bed.  HyunMi let out a sigh as she sat herself on the bed, folding the thrown clothing and placing them in the luggage.  A pair of arms s around her and swung her in circles, followed by DongHae's childish laughter.

"Hajima (stop)!  Put me down!" She squealed.  The butterlies in her tummy fluttered off the walls.

"Gomawo," he said, placing her back onto the ground and hugging her, "for being mine."  HyunMi placed a small kiss on his neck before pulling away and going back to folding his clothes.  All of a sudden, she bursted out into giggles.

"O-Oppa," she managed the say, "what is this?"

DongHae looked up from his phone and his face quickly burned a crimson red.  HyunMi was holding his fish imprinted boxers.

"G-Give that back!" He stammered, grabbing his brightly coloured undergarment.

"Aigoo, on screen you seem so charasmatic on screen but you're such a kid!"

In response, DongHae jumped onto the bed and attacked her with tickles.

"Yah! Stop it!" she squealed, but her voice was over powered by their laughs.

"No one makes fun of the Lee DongHae and gets away with it!" He said arrogantly, still tickling her.  HyunMi gathered all her strength and pushed DongHae down, until her face was hovering over his.

"Really now?" She smirked and gave him a small peck on the nose, "I'm done packing, just place those boxers in the luggage and you're ready to go~" she giggled as she pulled herself up and walked out the door.  DongHae awkwardly picked himself up from the bed and smiled.  Not once have I been so happy before I met her... How can she make me feel like this?  He quickly put his boxers in his luggage and pulled it out to the living room, to find HyunMi casually talking to EunHyuk.

"Hyung, you done packing?" DongHae questioned him, getting his attention.

"Mm," he said.  DongHae squeezed himself in between his girl friend and his best friend.

"So what are you two talking about?  Was it about me?  And where's SoEun?"

"Stuff.  Maybe. And she's in the washroom," EunHyuk said, glancing to his watch. "our fishy sure does have a mouthful of questions today." DongHae his tongue out at his friend before resting his arms around HyunMi's shoulder.

"Pabo fish," she whispered, giggling.

"Because I'm a fool for you," he replied, tapping her on the nose lightly.

"Aish, so cheesy!" HyunMi laughed.

The two was taken out of their own world when a voice came beside them.

"Aigoo, how cute!" SoEun said, squealing in EunHyuk's arms.

"Time to go, it's 10:30!" He said, standing up and pulling SoEun into his arms.  The members began piling out of their rooms, the sound of wheels rolling echoed through the hallway.

"Ready?  Did you guys leave anything?" EunHuk asked, scanning the living room.  Everyone shook their heads.  A knock came from the door and it clicked open as their manager walked in.  HyunMi and SoEun quickly bowed and greeted him.

"Annyeonghasaeyo!" They both said.  He laughed and walked over to them.

"Hello, you must be HyunMi, the one DongHae is obsessed with," he said to HyunMi, earning a yell of protest from DongHae.

"And you must SoEun, the one EunHyuk is dating," he smiled to SoEun who immediately nodded her head.

"I'm their manager, Kim JungHoon," he introduced himself, "Please take care of those two boys... they can be quite challenging to take care of sometimes."  Both EunHyuk and DongHae glared at the manager for embarrasing them in front of their girlfriends.

"Alrighty then, let's go!  The vans are waiting downstairs," he said as he held the door for everyone.  Everyone left the room and headed downstairs, to be welcomed by the cheering fans.  DongHae tightened his arm around HyunMi's waist, as if he were afraid she would be swept away in the crowd.  Occasionally, they were pushed and bumped, but neither of them really minded.  A bunch of stuffies, letters and fan gifts were thrown to the members.  DongHae quickly picked up a Nemo stuffy and kissed it before handing it to HyunMi, who giggled at his childishness.  Finally, they reached the van and seperated into two groups.

"Are you going to miss me?" Henry asked HyunMi from the front seat.

"Of course!" She said, getting a questioning look from DongHae, who got a slight squeeze on his hand.

"That's good," Henry replied, a smile lighting up his face, sending a rush of relief through HyunMi.

"But you're going to miss me more, right sister-in-law?" Kyuhyun's voice sounded.

"Tch, who's going to miss the evil maknae?" HyunMi joked, earning a glare from him.  "Just kidding! I'll miss you, Kyuhyun oppa~"

"That's more like it," he said arrogantly.

"Tch, she's going to miss me the most," DongHae muttered under his breath.  HyunMi looked up and gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Of course I am," she whispered to him, resting her head on his shoulder, causing him to smile childishly.  Throughout the whole ride, DongHae's arms were coiled around HyunMi's waist, while the other one was fiddling with her fingers.  Henry looked into the read view mirror to find the couple enjoying each other's presence.  Of course, he couldn't help but feel a slight pain in his heart.  The vehicle soon halted to a stop and the sound of the engine turned off.  Everyone exited the van and hauled their luggages from the trunk.  HyunMi was surprised at how easily all the members picked up their luggages, but it made sense because of all the training they go through to a toned body.  Suddenly, she felt a hand on hers and pull her towards to owner, as a car zipped past her.  Looking up to the person who saved her, she found Henry.

"You have to be careful, you know," he said, getting lost in her eyes.

"O-Oh, thanks," she said, pulling away from his grasp, but Henry held on.  DongHae saw the whole scene unfold.  Anger welled up in his stomach when Henry held on.  He walked over and cleared his throat, taking HyunMi's hand in his.

"Shouldn't you be more careful and hang on to your girlfriend?" Henry asked as they began to walk towards the moving doors.

"Yeah, I should.  I'll keep that in mind next time," DongHae gritted his teeth in annoyance and walked through the door, when HyunMi flinched beside him.  He spun his head to her and stared at her with worried eyes, realizing he had squeezed her hands with too much strength.

"Kwenchana?  Are your hands okay?" He released his hand from the handle and cradled hers.

"I'm fine," she smiled, "jagi-ah, is everything okay?"  DongHae nodded his head silently and continued walking, but stopped when he felt HyunMi stop in her tracks.  He looked back, giving HyunMi a questioning look.

"Want to tell me what's wrong?" She pouted.  DongHae chuckled and kissed her pout away.

"Nothing is wrong, jagi," he gave her an assuring smile.  Her heart sped up when he called her his nickname.  Everyone checked in and headed towards the baggage drop-off area.  Before they knew it, they reached the gates.  HyunMi's eyes began to tear up at the thought of her boyfriend leaving.  DongHae turned to face his girlfriend, who's eyes were already wet with tears.  His eyes began to sting as his throat began to tighten.

"Uljima (don't cry)," he sniffed, "I promise to call you and we'll see each other soon, okay?"  HyunMi nodded, her head hanging low.  DongHae lifted his hands and caressed her face, brushing away her tears that were already rolling down her cheeks.

"I'm going to miss you, so much," she said, her voice barely audible.

"Nado (me too)," he said, pulled her into a hug.  HyunMi nuzzled her face in her boufriend's chest, inhaling his familiar scent.  DongHae buried his face in her hair, the scent of strawberries danced on his nose.  Hyunmi pulled away and gently swiped a tear off DongHae's cheeks before giving him one last kiss.  Their lips curved against each other so perfectly like a puzzle piece.  Both their stomachs began to flood with butterflies, their hearts skipping beats.  They pulled away as DongHae leaned his forehead against HyunMi's, planting one last peck on the nose.

"Saranghae, my princess," he whispered.

"Saranghae, my prince," she said to him, pulling away.

"Alright, it's time to go, guys!" Their manager said, "it was nice meeting you, Hyunmi and SoEun.  Please visit us sometime."

The two girls nodded as they began hugging all the members good bye.  When Henry hugged her, he didn't want to let go.  His stomach did tiny flops as he came in contact with her.

"Good bye, mochi," she said to him, hugging him tight.

"Bye, chubby cheeks," he joked, earning a playful glare from her.

He pulled away regretfully and began piling towards the gates with the other members.  After exchanging one last, long hug with DongHae, he walked backwards with the members, his eyes locked with hers, not wanting to miss a single second of seeing his girlfriend.  She managed a smile but all she wanted to tell him was stay, though she knew she had to let him go.  Waving one last time, DongHae disappeared behind the tinted glass walls.  SoEun stood next to HyunMi, who was drying her tears.

"Kwenchana?" She asked, placing her arm around her best friend's shoulder.

"Mm, let's go home," she sighed as they walked to the exit.  Her fingers fiddled with the silver chain around her neck, as they ran over the silver band.  In the distance, two figures lurked around the gates.  Standing proudly, the two walked towards the entrance.

"Shaking off the clingy girl, check," one of them said.

"Now, to get him back.  Ready to go to Korea?" the other girl smirked.  She took off her glasses, and it was no other than Go RaMi.
