Sulli was feeling very conflicted. It was as though she was happy, yet miserable at the same time. Whenever she saw Taemin, she felt a dark sadness overshadowing her love for him.

Of course, it didn't help that Minho was completely ignoring her. She wasn't sure exactly why but assumed it had something to do with either Taemin or the Krystal incident. It was funny; she had assumed Minho would have shown some anger and desire to defend Sulli in light of Krystal's attack on her. She must have misjudged him. She felt a bit of resentment towards him but had to remind herself that they were just friends, nothing more. Defending her was not Minho's job, it was her boyfriend's. Minho was not her boyfriend, although she still hadn't figured out if that's what she wanted him to be.

To her dismay, her blue mood only worsened as the day went on. She got her coat stuck in her locker door, she spilled her drink at lunch and she got a C+ on her Hangul essay.

At the end of the day, she decided to go back to the library to finish some homework. A half hour later, she was sitting at her at a table in the SM library hall when she heard someone walking over to her. Looking up, she saw the last person he wanted to see. It was Krystal. *Aish,* she thought.

"Sulli unnie?" Krystal said timidly as she crept towards her. Sulli turned to look at the younger girl but didn't say anything. What was she supposed to say? The last time she had talked to Krystal, she had been slapped in the face and called a  .

Krystal sat down in a chair across from Sulli, nervously wringing her hands. "I think I owe you an apology."

*You think,* Sulli had to refrain from blurting out.

Krystal continued. "I clearly overreacted. I just have a lot going on and the break-up has been hard on me. I'm so sorry."

Sulli looked at the other girl, seeing the honesty in her face. That said, she could hardly believe what she was hearing. Krystal was having a hard time? That was pretty rich considering Minho was the one who was dumped.

Sulli forced herself to bite her tongue. "It's okay," she lied through her teeth. "I understand."

Krystal's face lit up. "Oh thank you, unnie! I was so worried you would stay mad."

Sulli smiled at her, though rather falsely.

Krystal seemed to think everything was now fine. "Actually, I have something to tell you. I'm thinking about asking out Donghae oppa!" She looked at Sulli as though she should be excited for her.

Sulli mentally groaned as she was forced to listen to another 20 minutes of Krystal talking about her love life. Rather insensitive of her.

Luna was sick of being stuck in the dorm. Victoria and Amber virtually ignored her due to their busy schedules and, quite frankly, she was tired of dealing with Sulli and Krystal's . Not that she wasn't on Sulli's side; she was just tired of hearing about their drama all the time.

That afternoon, she decided to go for a bike ride to get some space. There was a nice bike path near a river not far from campus. She went and got her red bike out of storage and set off.

She had always liked biking: the way the wind would whip through your hair if you were going fast enough, the feeling at the pit of your stomach when you went down a hill. This particular bike path was her favourite because she could stare out at the river as she pedalled. Today when she was biking, the scenery reminded her of Onew. What would it be like to come here with him? He was so sweet and clumsy on the outside, yet she also knew him to be an intelligent and thoughtful boy.

As she biked along the path, she was so distracted by her thoughts that she didn't notice a deep pothole in the pavement. When she drove over it, her wheel turned strangely, causing the bike to tip over. She fell off the seat, scraping her knees and elbows on the pavement. Sitting on the pavement, she dusted herself off, cursing.

"That's some awfully scandalous language for a young lady," a voice said from behind her. She would recognize it anywhere. Onew.

Turning around, she saw a smiley boy looking down at her. He reached out his hand, offering to help her.

She took it and pulled herself up into a standing position. "Why do you always find my pain so amusing?"

"Because you’re cute," he said plainly.

Luna's breath caught in . *He thinks I'm cute.* She tried to compose herself. "I still could have been hurt," she retorted.

He reached over and took her arm while muttering something about girls being unable to take compliments. He examined her elbow. "You're going to need to get this cleaned up."

She looked at her bike, thinking about how long and painful it would be for her to ride it back to school. Apparently reading her mind, Onew pulled something out of his pocket. It was his car keys. He dangled them in front of her. "Come on, I'll drive you and your bike back to school."

Sulli somehow managed to get rid of Krystal (finally because she really needed to get some studying done). She had a big performance next week and wanted to review her lines.

The library was mostly empty, with a few scattered students sitting at various tables. She scanned the room looking for some of her friends or someone from her play, deciding she didn't want to sit alone. Her eyes stopped on the back corner, where she saw Key. She went over and sat down across from him, moving for her original seat.

They spent a little while running through the script. Key was pretty good at drama because he had lots of personality. His character went on a rant at one point, which Key took full advantage of by animated raising his voice and smacking the table. Sulli had to keep from collapsing with laughter when he accidentally knocked his book of the desk during one of his angry speeches.

About 20 minutes later, Jonghyun showed up in the library. He strutted over and sat down next to Key.

"Since when do you come to the library?" Key asked him, surprised.

"I was bored," he replied. Then his eyes lit up. "I mean... Since I can't stand being apart from you," Jonghyun put on a pouty face and resting his head on Key's shoulder.

"Yah! Stop it hyung!" Key smacked him and tried to push him off.

Sulli chuckled as the two of them bickered and teased each other. They seemed almost like an old married couple.

She looked over to left and saw Minho entering the library. From afar, she heard him ask someone if they had seen Key and Jonghyun. Soon, his eyes picked up on his two hyungs. He began to walk over towards them, only to realize Sulli was there and walk right back out, as though he was never intending to come over in the first place.

Sulli frowned. Now there was no denying it, he was clearly avoiding her. She turned back to Key and Jonghyun who were still teasing each other and arguing. "I'll be right back," she told them before darting out of the library.

In the hallway she caught up with Minho. Grabbing his shoulder, she turned him around to face her, ready to angrily confront him about avoiding her. However, when she saw his face, she could see a dark veil of sadness masking his eyes. They were somber, pained. For a moment, Sulli forgot what she was going to say, taken aback by his expression.

"Oh! Hi Sulli-ah," Minho said to her, his face cracking into an obviously false smile.

Sulli snapped back and remembered what she was going to say. "Why are you avoiding me?" She asked bluntly.

He looked sadly at her, unsurprised by her question. "I'm not avoiding you."

Sulli snorted. "Don't lie."

He raked his hands through his hair. "Listen Sulli, I don't know why you want to hang out with me. You have a boyfriend, spend time with him. It's not my job to keep you company." He gave her one last look before leaving down the hall.

Sulli was shocked. His words stung. What he said had felt more like a slap in the face than Krystal's palm coming into contact with her cheek. *So that's how you feel Minho oppa. I get it.*

With tears welling in her eyes, she ran back to her dorm, forgetting about her promise to return to Key and Jonghyun.

Onew pulled up into the school parking garage, careful stationing his vehicle in a free parking space. He turned to look at Luna.

“Do you think you can walk or do I need to carry you?” He asked her teasingly, already knowing how she would answer.

“Ah... ani,” she replied, the corners of her lips lifting up in a small smile. Onew knew that that was a smile she reserved only for him. She got out of the car gingerly, testing to make sure she really could walk. Onew saw her wince a bit.

“Are you sure you don’t want me to carry you?” he asked again. “I’m actually even stronger than Minho-ah.” He pretended to flex his arms teasingly. “See?”

Luna laughed heartily but waved his offer off. “I can walk just fine, thank you.” She smiled at him.

Together they walked up to her dorm, Onew carrying her bike like a gentleman. When they got to f(x)’s dorm, he placed the bike in the doorway, careful not to actually enter the room. It was a school rule that boys weren’t allowed in female dorms and vice versa.

He looked at Luna. She was probably his best female friend. They spent an awful lot of time together: talking, laughing, and teasing each other. He knew she had a crush on him but he never knew the right thing to say.

He checked his watch; it was getting late. “I have to go find the rest of SHINee and make sure they’re not getting into trouble. I hope you feel better and you r cuts heal quickly. Goodnight.”

“Ah, neh,” she replied. “Goodnight. Thank you oppa.” He could see her face fall as he turned to leave. Suddenly he thought of something.

“Luna... Do you want to go with me to a party next week after we get back from our senior trip?”

She smiled. “Like... Like a date?”

Onew was surprised by this label but accepted it. “Sure.”

He walked off down the hall, leaving Luna with a stupid grin plastered on her face.
