“Nope not that either,”

“Well WHY NOT??” you yelled at Kai. It was almost a half an hour since your director dismissed everyone to go on a date. Director-nim told everyone that they can choose what they want to do as long as they take a picture for evidence and do something that they themselves would qualify as a date.

So far... you and Kai haven’t agreed on anything. He recommended to go out to eat somewhere but you rudely replied that you were full from your power bar feast. It didn’t seem like he’d want to do anything that you came up with and he wasn’t offering any ideas.

He just sat there, staring at you with a judging look. No emotion passed his face, no feelings creased his forehead or made him raise his eyebrows. He was just stone cold. You on the other hand, had too much emotion and you couldn’t hold any of it in, especially when he was frustrating you so much.

Maybe you had think like a guy? Something a guy might like to do? An idea popped in your head, “Yah!” you said, turning to face him. “What about going to an arcade? Wouldn’t that be fun?”

He looked from you, then rubbed his hands against the top of his thighs and got up. “I suppose that could work,” he simply replied.

You found a place not too far away from your building, the map said that it was only 15 minutes and looked simple enough, so with you having your face glued to your phone for directions and Kai slouching a couple feet behind you, the two of you set off, more or less against your own will.
