Sitting down next to her bed she spotted the tray of food Min-Sook had left for her and saw an envelope next to it. Taking it in her hands she cracked the seal and opened it to read.

I spotted the letter sitting on her mantel and decided to open it and read it since I saw that your name was on it. Shin Hye felt panic grip her and dropping the letter to the floor she hurried into her closet, pulling out her suit case she stuffed it with clothes and rushed out the door. She didn’t wait to tell Yong Hwa she was leaving and she didn’t care anyways, her real family needed her now.

‘Where are you going?” asked Min-Sook.

“I need to leave now, my mother is very sick and I don’t know if I might lose her.” Shin Hye’s panic ringed loudly in her ears and she held on to Min-Sook for a split second said goodbye and rushed out the door.

Min Hyuk their carriage rider looked at her surprised to actually see her, and didn’t know what was going on but helped her hop on and tied her suit case on the back.

“Were to mam?” He asked a little spooked by her sudden rush.

“Take me to my father, please it’s an emergency.” she said quickly. Hopping on he whipped the horses and off they went, Shin Hye sat quietly inside and hugged herself. She tried to clear her head and calm herself, maybe by the time she got there she would be feeling better and she could relax. The only stop Min Hyuk makes is to get her something to eat and a little water for the horses. They take off as the sun begins to set, pulling the small red curtain to a side Shin Hye watched the sun set and wondered for a moment what Yong Hwa might be doing right at this very moment. Disappointed for thinking about him she took a deep breath and let it out, she wasn’t going to think of him at all as long as she was gone; when she got back she would deal with him. Or maybe she wouldn’t come back at all.

Yong Hwa sat in his study looking down the crumpled divorce papers and tried to straighten them out. Shin Hye had been so angry with him that she had smudged some of the printing off of the papers. He felt helpless and anxious, he knew it wasn’t going to be easy to get her back but he had to keep trying. He stood and walked out of the study towards her room, before placing a knock on her door he saw that it was slightly ajar. Pushing it open with his fingertips he walked in searching for her, Shin Hye was nowhere to be found. Stepping inside he eyed the condition her room was in and saw her bed neatly made, her night robe hung over her dressing stand and a trays of food untouched. Her wall was covered in beautiful canvas paintings and it seemed to give it life. Sunsets, oceans, riverbanks, all kind of wild flowers painted. Yong Hwa felt he stood inside a museum rather than a room, and turned round and round to see the never ending canvases that hung on the wall.
