-Hyesun’s POV-

It’s been weeks since the first day of school and I’m still awkward around my classmates, except for a few.

I became good friends with Hyosung alongside Nayoung.

I spend every of my breaks with her and Hyosung joins us now and then, as my best friend from last year left me for another. She just stopped talking to me one day.

-Flashback-

I was walking back to class with Nayoung after break and her friend and her was walking to the other direction. I intended to greet her, acknowledging her presence.

“Hi Sumin! Did yo-“ I was cut off by her looking away, starting a conversation with her friend, ignoring mine.

She pretended to not know me.

Our eyes met again and she glared at me. It was a glare implying that I would regret if I spoke a word to her.

I shrugged and turn myself towards Nayoung.

“Let’s go back to class!” I grinned, choking back tears.

I turned my back against Sumin and her friend and made my way to class with heavy footsteps.

“Hyesun-ah, what was that?” Nayoung hissed. She was the only one who knew about Sumin as my best friend last year.

“I don’t know either…” I was still shocked from what just happened. I heaved out a loud sigh. “Forget it, I deserve better.”

*She’s no longer my friend.*

Oh well, I guess I’m just that easily replaced! Just three weeks into school and I’ve already lost a friend.

At least I considered her as one.

I guess she wanted to end our friendship there and then. _____________________________________________________________________________

“Class! We’re going for a 4 day 3 night camp next month! It’s compulsory for all Year 3 students to attend this camp unless you have a valid reason! Am I clear with the instructions given?” Mr Kim said.

“Yes…” The class dragged and I just nodded my head slightly, taking a mental note to inform my parents about it.

“Daehyun, I would need you to help me gather the names of those students who are not able to go for the camp. For those who are going, ask them for their meal preferences.” Mr Kim approached Daehyun for his help, passing him the class register on his way out of class.

The bell rang, signaling it was break time. Nayoung grabbed me from my seat before I could even finish taking the things I wanted to put in my locker.

I was pulled all the way until the lockers until I suddenly remembered something.

“Oh my god, Nayoung! I forgot to lock the class doors, damn it! Why did you pull me all the way here!” I suddenly shrieked and ran all the way back to class.

Yes, I was in charge of the class keys. I had to lock the doors when no one’s in the class, and come back to class earlier to unlock the doors after breaks. I wonder who gave me this stupid job.

I panted heavily as I spotted Nayoung leaning against her locker, waiting for my arrival.

“I don’t understand why you’re given this stupid job! I mean, let that Jung Daehyun do it! He’s the chairperson! He’s supposed to do it! Not you!” She complained as we made our way to the cafeteria. I was listening to Nayoung blabbering when suddenly BAP and Secret walked from the opposite direction. I rolled my eyes at the number of fangirls and boys surrounding them. I'm definitely not jealous.

I noticed Daehyun staring and quickly shushed Nayoung. We won’t want him to hear what Nayoung was saying. He would think that we’re pushing all the blame to him.

Hyosung saw the both us and waved. I waved back with a wide smile. Nayoung was still grumbling away.

*Can she please stop.* I chuckled at how silly she was.

-Daehyun’s POV-

I heard Nayoung. I didn’t give Hyesun that job! Mr Kim did! I looked at Hyesun wave at Hyosung.

*She’s kinda cute.* I turned away, trying to hide my smile.

“Ya Jung Daehyun! Pabo! You have a girlfriend!” I said as knocked my fist against my head.

Yup, I’m in a relationship with a senior from Year 4, not many people know about our relationship as I didn’t want our relationship to be known to the public. The fewer the people who knows, the lesser the rumors.

“Ya, Park Hyesun! Go unlock the doors!” I pointed at her and ordered. I saw her looking at Nayoung frantically. I shook my head and went towards the classroom.

“That Hyesun girl is kinda cute, don’t you think?” Changsub poked me at my waist.

“You like her?” I asked curiously.

“Maybe...” He shrugged and shove his hands into his pockets.

“I’ll just have to get her number first.”

-Changsub’s POV-

I saw Hyesun with her face in disbelief. She looks really cute. She’s totally my type. She looks different from the other girls in school.

“You like her?” Daehyun asked me.

*Do I? Maybe I should get her number first.*

“Maybe…” I replied him.

*I just need to get her number first.*

-Hyesun’s POV-

“Ya, Park Hyesun! Go unlock the doors!” I looked up a I heard my name, to see Daehyun pointing at me.

“What? Break’s over already?” I asked Nayoung in disbelief.

*That’s fast, I must have took too long to lock the doors. To think I even ran.*

I reached class in no time and saw some classmates waiting outside, waiting for me to unlock the doors so they could go in, including BAP.

They were leaning against the doors. I unlocked the doors with my head bend low. I could feel 7 pairs of eyes on me.

*Aish, why are they staring at me.*

I hurried away and caught Changsub still staring at me. I avoided eye contact with him awkwardly.

I sank in my seat as we waited for the rest of the class and the next teacher to arrive.

“Hyesun-ah, are you going for camp?” Changsub asked.

I nodded.

“Is it possible if I could get your number?” I rejected him.

“Sorry, I don’t give my number to people I don’t know well,” I apologized. I felt really bad rejecting him, but I wouldn’t want people I’m not that close with to text or call me.

“Really, I’m so sorry, maybe after camp? After we get to know each other better!” I said, trying to lighten the mood.

“It’s okay, really.” He flashed me his best smile.

I felt a little better after hearing that.

All of a sudden, we were interrupted by someone clearing his throat. It was Daehyun.

-No one’s POV-

Daehyun looked away awkwardly as Changsub shot staggers at him. Changsub knew he did it on purpose.

*Stupid Jung Daehyun*

“What?” Daehyun smirked. “I need to ask Hyesun about things regarding camp.” Changsub nodded away reluctantly, surrendering.

Daehyun turned back to Hyesun.

“So… You’re going for camp right?”

“Yeah. Do I have a reason not to?” Daehyun agreed, satisfied with my answer.

“Are you vegetarian?” Hyesun shook her head and stared out of the window.

“Can you like, speak more?” Hyesun tilted her head to the side, letting Daehyun continue his words.

“Can you like talk, instead of shaking or nodding your head?”

“But the questions you asked don’t require me to speak!” Hyesun answered back.

“Are you usually that quiet?” Daehyun asked.

Hyesun shrugged, ignoring his comments.

“You can talk to me if you want to.” Daehyun winked at Hyesun and left to the other students.

*What did he just say?* Hyesun thought.

Another two weeks passed and it was finally the day of the camp.

-Hyesun’s POV-

*Ugh, I hate camps.*

I’ve always hated camps, especially when it’s held outdoors, and unfortunately, this camp is gonna be held outdoors. That means we have to sleep in tents and shower in toilet outdoors. How great was this.

My eyes wandered around, only to see the excited faces of my classmates.

*I think I'm the only one not looking forward to this..."

We took turns to board our belongings up the bus and we were told to be seated according to our groups. Group 1 being those with odd register numbers and Group 2 with even register numbers. I was in Group 1 and Nayoung was in Group 2.

However, I had Hyosung to accompany me as we were in the same group and the other Secret members were in Group 2. “BAP is also in our group, you know!” Hyosung informed me.

*WHAT?! BAP?!* I scream inwardly.

I just nodded, pretending to know and accepted it right away.

Since there were only 9 girls who went for the camp, 5 of us sat at the last row while the other 3 girls partnered up with someone else. I took the window seat with Hyosung sitting next to me. Nayoung was beside her.

*I miss Nayoung already.*

The seats in front of us were empty, and I thought they were extra seats, so I lean my head against the back of it.

Suddenly, I felt the seat shake a little, only to realize that BAP was sitting in front of us. Daehyun and Zelo were sitting directly in front of us.

*BAP in the same group as I.*

I let out a loud sigh. Hyosung, Daehyun and Zelo turned to me. I shook my head, telling them nothing’s wrong and sank back into my seat.

*This bus journey is gonna be so long.*

Chapter 4 up! ^^

Sorry if this took too long. I was suppose to post this a few days back. :p

I also apologise if this chapter was a little disappointing, cause I felt really weird while writing this too.

✎ So, weeks after school reopened, we had a Year 3 annual camp! I've always hated camps and all. Yeap, cause had to stay overnight in a new environment. >< I was shocked when I was told that 'BAP' were in my group, cause you don't know how much girls want them to be in theirs. :P

'Daehyun' and 'Zelo' sat in front of us, and 'Daehyun' was directly in front of me, which means he was always in my sight throughout the whole journey. *LOL*

So basically this was how we started off. Our first conversation was like how it was above. As I have said before, I'm shy around people and that I don't have much to talk about with them. He asked me why I was so quiet and that I could talk to him if I wanted to.

Yup, and about 'Daehyun' and his girlfriend, I'll not reveal much here. :P
