           Jade came out of the bathroom and the other four girls were standing there staring at her. Jade blinked a couple times. “What?” Lizzie poked her in the cheek. “Since when do you wake up with a smile on your face?” Jade laughed. Elle put her hands on her hips. “You are always so grumpy in the morning. What’s going on?” Jade sighed and smiled. “Can I get dressed first?” Kiwi crossed her arms. “No you may not.”

                Jade sighed again. “My dream Eli asked me out and said he could see himself dating me.” Shelby raised her eyebrow at her “And you said yes? To dating your dream?” Jade made an odd face and looked away, giving the girls the answer they expected. Elle sighed. “You do know that it isn’t the real Eli? It was cute that you were having recurring dreams but dating your dream is just going too far. You are just going to hurt yourself in the long run.” Jade smiled awkwardly and shuffled off to her room to get dressed.

                She sighed and could see what they were saying. She thought that if her dream Eli made her happy, why couldn’t she just be content with that? She decided that she would try to keep her dreams about Eli to herself from now on. She finished getting dressed and went back into the living room. Everyone was getting ready to go.

                She pulled her shoes on and sat on the couch, waiting for everyone else. Soon everyone piled into Shelby’s car and got to the café around 2. They said hello to Katie, who was working the front, and went straight to the back. They were all in performance mood now. They grabbed their outfits and put them in order of the costume changes.

                Elle started to do everyone’s makeup, starting with Kiwi. Jade took the cart with the costume changes on it and took it out to the room behind the stage, where they controlled the monitors from, leaving the cart with their first outfits on it. She sighed and stayed in the backroom for a while, just thinking. She sat on the floor and pulled her knees up to her chest.

                “Why is my brain doing this to me…” she mumbled to herself. The door opened and Luke came in, grinning. He had a bubble tea with him and handed it to her. She smiled as he sat down. “Hello Luke.” The young boy smiled and crossed his hands in his lap. “Why are you hiding?” She drank some of her tea. “I’m just thinking.” The boy scooted closer. “About what?” She played with the straw and stabbed a pearl and ate it. “Let’s just say that my dreams are making me happier then when I’m awake and everyone thinks it’s bad for me.” Luke just smiled at her, not saying anything. Jade looked at him. “What would you do?” He laughed “Well if it made me happy, I wouldn’t care. Why should I make myself not happy?” Jade laughed. “But you would be called insane.” He stood up and patted her on the shoulder. “I would rather be insane, instead of not being happy.” He left the room.

                Jade laughed and shook her head. Katie had raised one smart nine year old, even if he could be really stupid sometimes. She stood up and went back into the dressing room. Elle grabbed her and plopped her into the chair. Everyone else had already finished getting their makeup done. Kiwi and Shelby had already had their hair done by Lizzie as well. Lizzie was styling her wig as Elle started Jade’s makeup.

                Jade went to take a drink of her bubble tea but Elle took it away and set it on the table. “What is up with you today? You have the silly idea of dating your dream and then you just disappear. You better be able to perform on stage without messing up.” Jade nodded. Elle became more serious on show days, they were all used to it by now. Jade’s eyes were closed and Shelby took a drink of Jade’s bubble tea and sat in a chair next to her. “So where did you go?” “I was talking to Luke.” Shelby nodded and took another drink. “Don’t drink it all!” Shelby smiled and put it down.

                Soon Jades makeup was finished and Elle started doing her own. Lizzie started to style Jade’s hair. Jade usually kept it down during the show so Lizzie just had to use the straightener and some spray in detangler, to keep her hair shiny and straight. Kiwi and Shelby were already dressed in their show outfits. Their first performance was Hello by SHINee, right after Jade and Lizzie finished Oppa, Oppa. Kiwi was wearing loose white pants, a white tank top with white suspenders over her shoulders and a White button up shirt over them. Shelby had loose gray pants with a black tank top and black suspenders over her shoulders with a dark gray leopard print button up shirt over them. Elle was putting on loose red pants with a white tank top and white suspenders over her shoulders with a red leopard print button up shirt over them. Their outfits were made for both Hello and Mister. Once they would finish Hello, they would take off the button up shirts and put their suspenders down as Lizzie and Jade came out.

                Elle started on Lizzie’s makeup and Jade changed into her Yellow suit for Oppa, Oppa and went off to the corner and practiced the choreography, making sure she remembered all of it. Soon everyone was ready for the show and there was 15 minutes until 7.  Jade went to the back room and with the help of Luke, started doing sound checks. They had an audience of about 50 people so far.

                All of the speakers were working fine and she started making sure that the video playlist was in order. She put the café logo onto the screen and played some random kpop songs over the speakers. Every thing was set for the show.

                She quickly headed back into the dressing room where Lizzie had decided not to wear a wig for the first song, she liked her blonde hair with her red suit and Jade’s reddish brown hair with her yellow suit. They both grabbed the sun glasses that they wore for the song.  The girls all made their way to the room behind the stage. Katie’s boyfriend had set up a camera to record the show and he was also going to take photos this time as well.

                Katie came into the back room as well. “Well, girls, break a leg out there! They are ready for you to start the show. Are you guys ready?” The girls all nodded. Lizzie took a deep breath as Jade pressed play on the play list and her cue came. Lizzie ran out to the stage and did Donghae’s opening part. Jade came out for her cue and the show started out smoothly.  Just like the day before, after the break down, the two girls jumped off the stage and went into the crowd to dance around with them. The children really liked that part.

                Their song ended and the other three girls came out onto the stage and started performing Hello. Jade and Lizzie went into the room behind the stage and quickly changed into their next outfits. Lizzie had loose blue pants with a white tank top and white suspenders and Jade had loose dark green pants and a gray tank top with a short camo vest over it. Both of the girls outfits, showed their stomachs. Jade put on the dog tags that went with her outfit and they both put their glasses back on.

                They listened for the song to end and came back on stage just in time to start the choreography. After Mister finished, they all came into the room for the intermission. The hard part of the show was about to start, all the rest of the songs had all five of them performing and there wasn’t any costume changes in between.

All of the girls changed into white skinny jeans with gray leopard print high tops. Kiwi was the main lead during the first song, Block B’s Nalina since she danced Zico and P.O’s parts. She put on a black shirt with a white frame like pattern on it with a furry coat. Jade danced Ukwon and Jaehyo’s parts, Lizzie danced Kyung’s part, Shelby danced B-Bomb’s part and Elle danced Taeil’s part.

The next song was B1A4’s Baby Goodnight. Elle was the visual for this song and wore a patterned button up shirt with a jean jacket and an Indian headband. She danced Sanduel’s part, Jade danced CNU’s part, Kiwi danced Baro’s part, Lizzie danced Gongchan’s part, and Shelby danced Jinyoung’s part.

For Teen Top’s Supa Luv, Lizzie took Neil’s lead role. She put on a wig that looked like Neil’s hair from the video and had a white canvas jacket with zippers and pockets on it. Jade danced Chunji’s part, Kiwi danced Ricky’s part, Shelby had both L.Joe and C.A.P’s part and Elle performed Changjo’s part.

The last song was SHINee’s Sherlock and Shelby was the main point of that performance. She was center with Jonghyun’s spot. She wore the same t-shirt as he did in the video with a jean jacket. Jade danced Minho’s part, Kiwi had Taemin’s spot, Lizzie danced Key’s part, and Elle danced Onew’s part.

Since Jade had solo parts in both Nalina and Supa Luv, she had a t-shirt similar to Kiwi but had a white jacket with a different zipper pattern then Lizzie over it and left it ped.

                The intermission ended and they went out and performed without almost any mistakes.             The performance part of the show lasted about half an hour with the break. The audience clapped for them and the girls all bowed. After the performance, they held a Q&A session for the customers to ask them questions about Kpop and Korea.

                After the customers ran out of questions, Katie brought out some Korean snack food and other packaged foods that wouldn’t go bad getting shipped from Korea. The girls would teach the kids the dances to the more simple songs and the customers would have fun trying the Korean snacks and listening to the music.

                Around 9 the last of the customers left and the girls switched out of work mode and went into how they were normally. Jade laid on the floor, flat on her stomach and stared at the tile. Luke sat next to her and stared at her. She sighed. Kiwi bent down next to him and poked her in the arm. Everyone started laughing as Luke started poking her as well.

                Katie handed Kiwi a broom and pushed Luke with her foot. “Stop picking on the poor girl. We need to clean up too. Jade, get up off the floor or we will sweep all the dirt onto you.” Jade laughed slightly and rolled over with a pouty look on her face. “I want to go to bed.” The owner nodded “After we clean up.”

                She got up off the floor and Katie handed her a mop. She leaned on the mop, waiting for Kiwi and Luke to finish sweeping. Katie’s boyfriend went into the room behind the stage and worked on making the video able to be uploaded to YouTube and added new pictures from tonight’s show onto the Facebook page.

                Shelby was wiping the tables. Lizzie was putting the clothes away and checking to see if any of them needed to be washed, they only wore these clothes for the performances. Elle wiped the stage down and Katie cleaned the kitchen.

                Since she was stuck with mopping, Jade was the last one to be finished. She went into the backroom and changed into her normal clothes. Lizzie looked over her performance clothes and hung them up. Elle smiled and put her arms around both Jade and Lizzie. “What do you say the three of us go out to drink again?” Lizzie laughed and nodded. Jade didn’t really want to go, she wanted to go home and go to sleep, hoping to see Eli again in her dreams. She had to go with them when they drank. They got really weird and she had to take care of them if they are out in public.

                She smiled and nodded awkwardly. Shelby and Kiwi pouted. They weren’t old enough to drink yet so they went home first. The three older girls went to the bar and right away the two oldest started ordering shots and beer.

                After a bit, they were really drunk and Jade was laughing really hard at them. Lizzie and Elle were talking about their ‘husbands’ and how they did different things around the house with them. Lizzie was married to Chanyeol and Elle was married to Jongin. A couple of guys came up to hit on the three of them. They were all white, muscular and looked like gangster wannabe’s.

                Jade started smiling. This was one of her favorite things to watch when they were at the bar, drunk Elle and Lizzie preventing guys from hitting on them. Lizzie stared at them with a straight face and started speaking Korean, confusing two of them. The third one was hitting on Elle and she was flirting back. She suddenly leaned close to him and motioned for him to come closer. Jade hid her smile behind her drink, she knew what was coming next.

                Elle smirked “I will come hang out with you but I have to tell you a secret first.” The guy smiled, thinking that he had successfully picked her up and leaned in for her to tell him her ‘secret’ “I hope you don’t mind that I have…” she paused and looked at Jade, then back at the dude. “a .”

                Jade spit her drink out into her cup and started laughing really hard. Lizzie had started yelling at the other two confused guys in Korean. The guy that Elle was talking to looked horrified and pulled his friends away. Jade almost couldn’t breathe from how hard she was laughing.

                As soon as the two older girls started talking about how their ‘husbands’ liked different parts of their bodies, Jade went up to the bar and paid their tab and escorted them home. The last thing they needed were the normal people thinking they were crazy erts. Only the kpop fans needed to know that.

                Elle grabbed Jades “Why do you always make us leave early?” Jade smacked her hand away and laughed “It’s not early. It’s almost 2 am.” Elle clapped her hands. “Jo Kwon is so fabulous!” Lizzie made her hands into claw shapes and started bobbing her head back and forth. “I am an animal al al al” Soon Elle was doing it too. Jade quickly escorted them inside the house. A neighbor was coming home from work and was at his mail box and saw two grown women walking like dinosaurs saying they were and animal. Jade smiled and waved apologetically.

                She sighed as she closed the door behind them. “You two get ridiculous when you drink.” She said laughing as they pretended to claw at each other with short arms. They had transformed from animals to t-rex’s. Kiwi and Shelby were sitting on the couch and staring at the two oldest with confused looks. Lizzie made a rawr sound. “I AM JONGHYUN! HEAR ME ROAR!” All the girls laughed and Shelby threw a pillow at her. “You are too tall to be Jonghyun!”

                The two oldest girls went to go irritate the two youngest. Jade snuck away to her room and changed into her pajamas. She put on fleece monkey pajama pants and a black tank top. She grabbed her laptop and checked the show comments and watched to see if she made any mistakes.

                Around 3:30 am she turned off her computer and could still hear the girls messing around in the living room. She smiled and laid in her bed and stared out her window. It had started snowing. She saw a light in the sky and knew that it wasn’t a star but made a wish on it anyways. “I wish I could dream about Eli again…”

                She quickly fell asleep and found herself surrounded by trees. She smiled when she realized that if her dream was continuing, this was the 0330 set. She turned around and saw the piano and now she knew that it was. Jade only saw trees around her though. She walked for a bit away from the piano and saw a tall building. 

                She got closer and recognized the windows from the brick room and opened the door and saw the brick room. There were actual places to sit. The bed that Dongho slept in was in one of the far corners. She saw a door and opened it, there was a stair way that went up for a long time until she got to the next door. The stairs continued up, but she opened the door and it was the café with the phone. Eli wasn’t in there.

                Jade continued up the stairs and was breathing hard by the time she got to the top. She sat on the top stair. “I hate stairs…. So much…” She weakly opened the door and saw the helicopter landing pad. She could see the buildings off in the distance but they faded away instead of reaching the ground. She laughed. Of course her dream wouldn’t give her an entire city to wander around in. She looked the other way and could see all the trees that she appeared in. She could see the clearing with the Piano from up here. Eli was nowhere to be found.

                She sighed and headed back down the stairs, checking the café again and then going all the way back to the brick room. She sat at the piano and messed with the keys. She couldn’t play the piano and quickly got bored. Jade moved over to the bed and sat there looking at everything. She wondered how long she had been there but the clock next to the bed was frozen on 3:30.

                She sighed. “I wonder why he isn’t showing up?”  She stood up and wandered back out towards the piano in the woods. She sighed and pressed a couple keys. She kind of felt like crying.

                She felt the wind blow slightly and heard “JADE!!” she turned around and looked up at the top of the building and saw someone wave at her.

                Suddenly she heard “RINGDINGDONG DINGDINGDONG” She opened her eyes and reached to her phone grumpily and answered it without seeing who it was calling her at 7am.

                “What!” she yelled into her phone. “Excuse me? Is this Jade?” She sighed “Yes… Who is this?” The voice on the other end of the phone could tell that she was irritated “I am from the check loaning company and you were put down as Mary’s secondary contact. Will you tell her to call me? It is concerning her debt with us.” Jade was about to explode. “ANIYA!!! I DON’T EVEN LIVE WITH MY MOM! CALL HER YOURSELF!!”

                Jade threw her phone out her open bedroom door and it hit one of the cats who were minding their own business on the couch. The cat fell on the couch and she heard Kiwi scream.
