- 1 month later-

                It was almost the beginning of March, it had been a month since Jade was kissed by Cyrus and stopped dreaming about Eli. She hadn’t seen Cyrus since. They all assumed he must have been embarrassed. Keji and Shelby had been taking very good care of her, keeping her from breaking down in public. She was now able to at least pretend to smile. It wasn’t her day to work but Keji and Shelby were working today so she was just hanging out in the café.

                A girl around 19 years old came in and went straight to the counter. “Hello. I am Abby from Music Junkies Magazine. I understand that the staff here modeled for Cyrus a month ago?” Jade went over to the counter and looked at the girl curiously. “Yeah. We modeled for him. Did the pictures make it into the magazine?” Keji asked excitedly. Abby nodded. “Yes. Our digital version of your article came out a couple days ago and the printed Magazine will be out on Monday. I’m here to ask if you want a complimentary issue for each of the staff pictured. I’m also supposed to find out if it would be alright for Cyrus to come here and speak to everyone.”

                Shelby and Keji both looked at Jade and were shocked when she nodded. Abby wrote down the url for the magazine’s website article and left. Shelby looked at Jade worried. “You sure it’s alright to see him?” Jade sighed and sat down. “It’s been a month. I’m done being angry.”

                Katie arrived to check up on things and saw Jade just sitting there. She motioned for Shelby to come closer. “Jade is still being all depressed? Are you sure that none of you know why still?” Shelby nodded. Her and Keji were still keeping Jade’s secret for her. Katie nodded and sighed as she walked to the kitchen to check on the supplies.

                Jade stood up and stretched and grabbed a bottle of water. “I’m going to go to the practice room for a bit. I think I need to move around or something.” She walked off, leaving her friends to work.

                She sighed and the light in the practice room and stared at herself in the mirrored wall. She hadn’t really been taking very good care of herself lately. She poked at the couple of red pimples on her face and about jumped out of her skin when Katie walked in.

                “Jade, you do know that you are also a model as well. You haven’t asked for us to get you any more shoots lately.” Katie grabbed Jade’s face gently and turned it side to side. “You stopped your skin care. Do you want me to take over it for you?” Jade remembered when she first wanted to do modeling and Katie did her skin care for a week, it was painful and she even had to change the foods she ate. She was taken to a salon three times that week. Some of the skin scrubs really hurt.

                She smiled awkwardly “Umm… No, I will do it myself. Just send me the products you want me to use.” Katie smiled at her. “That’s what I like to hear. I will send Luke over later with them.” Jade nodded as Katie smiled again and left. Jade realized that even Katie had been worrying about her. It was dangerous for her to worry. She actually changed things when she worried.

                Jade tied up her hair and since it was still business hours, she grabbed her mp3 and started playing Come Back Again by Infinite. She danced the choreography, learning all the members’ parts. None of the others were at a high enough level to learn infinite easily so she was going to teach them by learning all the parts first. She had been dancing it for three weeks now. She had learned Dongwoo, Hoya and Woohyun’s parts so far and was now working on L’s part.

                She wasn’t sure how long she had been practicing for but she was dripping with sweat when Keji and Shelby came to tell her they were closing up. The two of them confiscated her mp3 when she only took out 1 ear bud and kept dancing. Shelby sighed and looked at her. “Is that what you have been doing in here the past couple weeks? Dancing angrily to Infinite?” Jade sat down on the floor and drank out of her water bottle. “I’m not dancing angrily…”

                Shelby and Keji both burst out laughing. Shelby played the song over the speakers. “Do you not hear this song? You were dancing angrily.” Half way through the song Keji suddenly looked shocked. “Jade! Do you know the translated lyrics to this?” She shook her head no, she wasn’t going to admit it but she really was just learning the choreography because it made her feel better.

                Shelby thought for a moment. “The only lyrics I know of this song is ‘Dasi Dorawa! Dorawa Dorawa!’ and I have no idea what it means. Isn’t it like ‘Come here’ or something?” Keji smiled and nodded. “The song is about someone left you and you are angry that they broke your heart yet you want them to come back and accept you.” Both girls just stared at him. Jade sometimes forgot he knew Korean.

                Shelby looked over at Jade “Oh Jade, you didn’t even know.” Jade just laid on her back and stared at the ceiling wondering when she had subconsciously learned Korean. She turned to look at them. “How long have I been in here?” Keji looked at his watch. “About four hours.” She just nodded and sat up. “Let’s go home then.”

                Out front of the café, Cyrus and the girl from earlier were out front. “Can I give you guys a ride home? I have something I want to talk to everyone about.” Jade really thought she was done being angry but the first thought in her mind when seeing him was ‘Dasi Dorawa so I can punch you in the face!’ but she kept it to herself as her and Keji got into the car. Shelby had driven herself to work so she followed behind them.

                At the house, Lizzie and Elle were stunned to see Cyrus walk in after Shelby. Abby introduced herself to the two oldest girls while Cyrus was digging into his bag for something. He pulled out a piece of paper that was a printed email. “I got this email inviting me as press to a kpop concert in Malaysia in March. It says that because of the article I wrote about you guys shows a good start to bringing Kpop into my magazine and they want to help. I think… It’s written kind of oddly to be written by a staff person. I’m not sure if it’s real. Do you guys know about this concert?”

                Keji about tore the paper out of his hand. “THE ONE WITH 2NE1 AND UKISS AND THE BACKSTREET BOYS!!!” He read the email over and over and suddenly froze. “This email says it’s from UKISS staff...” Jade and Shelby both froze as well. Cyrus nodded. “As you can see, they said that they will have press passes reserved for us. I need to know how many of you can come. If any of you don’t have passports, you will need those too.”

                Jade just stood there without any reaction while the others asked a bunch of questions. Cyrus promised to pay for the airfare and hotel for everyone. He was able to charge it to his magazine. Keji suddenly pointed at the email again. “The Korean characters for the name don’t match the printed name underneath! The Korean characters say Kim Jaeseop!!” All the girls, including Abby yelled at once. “AJ!!??!?” Abby quickly pulled out her tablet and went into the email. “How did I not notice this!!!!?” She suddenly left, pulling out her phone.

                Cyrus laughed. “So I guess this means that everyone will be coming with me?” Everyone agreed. “Then I will contact you when it gets closer for more details.” He left yelling after his assistant.

                Lizzie and Elle were freaking out and went to their computers to see who else was performing. Shelby and Keji just turned to stare at Jade. She was staring at the ground. “It’s just a coincidence. The article must say how we like UKISS and so AJ decided to invite us because of that. There’s no way…”
