Another Chance at Love
Description
"Do you believe in God? Do you believe in Fate? Do you believe in Love?"
These are the questions that usually pose difficulty to humans when they try to answer them. Some say that they believe and that they exist but others point out that there is no proof.
Why did I started talking about this? I don't know. I just felt like I should say this.
Life is made of choices. The choice between waking up in the morning or at noon, the choice you make between milk and juice, if you believe or don't.
There are people that will smile and see good things in everything and there are people that will say to stop dreaming, that what you see it's not real and those things happen only in movies.
Did they forget that movies are inspired from real life? That the reality is more dramatic than fiction?
They say that you'll never forget your first love. That maybe you'll fall in love again, but that love will never be as beautiful and strong as the first. Is it true?
You're wondering what I'm talking about and think that what I've said before doesn't make any sense. Maybe for you it doesn't but for me it does.
Right now my beliefs are tested. Right now I must make a CHOICE.
A CHOICE between my FIRST love and ANOTHER love. If I make the wrong choice I may lose everything but if I make the right one I may have Another Chance at Love.
What will you chose?"
* A story about love, betrayal and second chances.*
"You've asked me for time and I gave it to you, but you could have warned me for what you needed that time." she threw a magazine in his lap. The cover was posting a picture with him and her friend kissing.
"You ok?" he bent to check on her.
"I am, but my ankle isn't." she answered him with a grimace.
"No wonder... running around with those killer heels." he eyed with disgust her shoes.
She took her heels of and whimpered in pain when she leaned on her twisted ankle.
"Let me help you get to your cabin." he scooped her up in his arms and started heading towards her cabin.
"Stay away from her!"
"Or what? Let me remind you that what happens between me and her it doesn't concern you. In any case, if someone has the right to ask me to keep distance it's her, not you. And I don't believe she'll ask me that." he walked away with confidence.
"He's not good for you."
"Usually people that don't seem right for you are the best. Look what happened with you. I thought you were perfect for me and I've ended with my heart broken."
"Why are you doing this?"
"Because I still love you." he simply answered before walking out the practice room.
