The Real Water PrincessJust as father had said a lady had knocked on my door to collect me. Opening the door I looked at the women in front of me. She was wearing a dark blue maids dress with hair her in a tight bun. The lady bowed in front of me catching me off guard. *this is something I’m going to have to get used to* I though as I looked at the lady.
“It’s time for lunch. The king and Queen are waiting for you along with some guest” looking down at what I was wearing she frowned. “Not to be rude your highness, but you can’t wear that to lunch. A princess must wear her gowns around the palace” Shocked I just stared at her. I had seen the gowns in the wardrobe and they had seemed to be too fancy for me. I was afraid that I was going to look horrible in one of those expensive gowns.
Bowing the lady walked into my room before heading towards the rows of gowns. Following after her, I watched on as she looked for something particular. “This one” she said as she pulled out a dark blue dress. It was a one shoulder dress that had a beautiful floral chain around the waist. “That’s beautiful”
Running my hands along the soft fabric, I could contain the excitement that started to fill my body. Smiling the maid led me towards the bathroom. “I’ll help you prepare for lunch your highness” After getting my hair placed into a bun and wearing my dress, we made our way down a long corridor towards where we would be eating. Along the way the maid was explaining a few things on table manners. I wasn’t a pig I did know how to eat properly but given by the maid’s age she seemed to have thought I was too young to know how to eat properly.
Stopping in front of two massive doors, the maid bowed to me one last time before she opened the doors. Once the doors were opened I made my way towards the large table that was positioned in the middle of the room. Sitting at the
