Chapter 13
The Real Water PrincessLater that day, I headed out to the small pond at the back of the school. Some new water benders would go here in order to practice, but because of the queen being here it was empty. Taking a seat on the bench positioned in front of the pond, I looked down at my hands. They were scrapped and dirty from being thrown onto the ground.
sighing, I walked towards the little pond. As I dipped my hands into the cool water, I let the feeling run through my veins. Grandmother said that only the best water benders were able to heal, since the water princess was the first. How a baby was able to heal herself was beyond me but it was still a cool trick.
Closing my eyes I took in a deep breath. The feeling of coldness moved up my arms and slowly the pain in my hand disappeared. Instead it was replaced with a soft tingling sensation. "Eunbin?" A angelic voice asked. Opening my eyes I noticed the queen standing in front of me. She was smiling so softly yet lovingly down at me. Looking down I noticed my hands still submerged into the water.
Panicing I ripped my hands out, causing some water to splash onto my dress. The queens eyes widened slightly at the water that drenched the bottom half of my dress. "Eunbin, are you okay?" She asked, her voice full of concern. Taking a step back, I nodded.
