Chapter 22

Yeah yeah, I got stuck in this double date.

Unfortunately, we spent the rest of the afternoon with SaeByul and JunHyung eating at the ice cream shop. JunHyung didn’t like ice cream, he didn’t like sweet stuff at all. But here he was, eating ice cream with his date and it seems like he really likes it.

Who is this guy? Now I’m doubting if I really know JunHyung at all.

DooJoon also found out that they’re watching Insidious the same time as our slot. So, jerkface invited them to sit on the same row as ours. Hurrah.

I found myself sitting in between DooJoon and JunHyung. DooJoon on my left and JunHyung on my right. SaeByul was sitting on JunHyung’s left.

This is not funny at all, I tell you.

The lights finally dimmed and I glued my eyes on the screen. I tell you, the movie was really good. If you’re scared of the dark then I suggest you don’t watch the movie. Wimp.

Anyhow, let’s get back to my story. As far as I know JunHyung, he’s not the type to get scared of these kinds of movies. I have no idea with Jerkface though.

Just then, the girl on the movie sat up from bed. She had a nightmare, when she looked to her left, there was a man walking outside her window.

“!” I shouted when I felt a hand touching my arm. I looked to my left and DooJoon had his eyes bulging out.

I had to stop myself so hard from laughing.

Then the female lead screamed and the guy next to me screamed too, burying his face on my shoulder. Yep, the one and only DooJoon.

Hey, I have to admit it was pretty… cute.

And I don’t use cute on my vocabulary people.

He looked up at me and I smirked. “Wimp.” I whispered to him then turned my eyes back to the screen.

“Am not.” He whispered back.

“Yes you are a wimp.” I retorted without looking at him.

“HyunJi.” His deep voice called out. “Look at me, HyunJi.” He said but I ignored him. Loser. “Hyunji!” He whispered furiously, I could feel his breath tickle my neck. “Come on Hyunji, look at me!” he demanded.

I rolled my eyes and turned to him. Then, I felt his lips on mine for like 5 seconds. “YAH!” I shouted.

“SHUT UP!”
“WE’RE TRYING TO WATCH A MOVIE HERE!”
“IF YOU WANNA MAKE OUT GO TO A MOTEL!”

“YOU CHOSE THE WRONG MOVIE!”
“GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!”

I wanted retort but then I wanted to smack the life out of DooJoon more. I turned to him and he was grinning like an idiot, his eyes glued to the screen. Oh he is so going to get it later.
