EDITED

Two days had passed since then. Hyoyeon took yesterday off because she could barely move let alone teach a class, so she asked Sooyoung to take over. Sooyoung was reluctant because it was Hyoyeon’s all boy class and her field of expertise wasn’t in b-boying or powerful popping and locking. Taeyeon stayed home yesterday as well as today. She fell into a deep sleep and hasn’t woken up since last night.

Hyoyeon decided to teach Jessica at home since her musical wasn’t something she could push off.

“Sica, wake up! It’s 12pm. Time for your lesson!” Hyoyeon shook her harder than she does with the other three.

“Ugggghhhh… I don’t have to practice for the musical today! Leave me alone!” Jessica pulled the covers back over her.

“Get your lazy up. I’m teaching your moves for act three!” Hyoyeon pulled the covers off of her.

“No you can’t! You’re still hurt! Just leave it for tomorrow!” she complained as she opened her eyes and stared at Hyoyeon.

“Stop staring at me and get up or else I’m going to dump water on you! You have five minutes.”Hyoyeon walked out of the room and went to cook lunch for her.

Why is she wearing those clothes? She’s just asking for me to jump her! Jessica quickly shook off her thoughts of seeing Hyoyeon wearing a thin, white, see-through tank top, green sports bra and grey baggy pants. She got up and went into the restroom. She realized a couple of things while brushing her teeth and decided to give it a try and ask Hyoyeon later on. After getting dressed, she went downstairs and saw a plate of food on the counter.

“Oh good. You actually got up. Eat your lunch and meet me in the basement when you’re done.” Hyoyeon walked out of the kitchen.

“Wait! Where’s the basement?” Jessica asked.

“It’s the door behind the stairs.” She said as she walked away.

“Okay!”

Hyoyeon opened the door and the lights. A smile crept upon her face instantly as she remembered the good times she spent in this room with the other three. One wall was covered in pictures of her memories with the others. From corner to corner, it was filled with photos since elementary school to their latest outing at the bungee jump site. It was then when her eyes grazed upon a picture of Jessica. I guess she really is a part of this family now. Not wanting to sulk over the past, she fondly looked to the next wall of her and Taeyeon’s trophies from Taekwondo tournaments and also the other two's achievements. Quickly remembering her lesson with Jessica, she grabbed a broom and cleaned up the place.

Hyoyeon was confused. The last time she went out with a guy was the night she found out that Jessica was their housemate. She felt herself rid of all the anger she had with that girl but she didn’t want to warm up to her just yet since her pride was too high. Stop thinking so much Hyoyeon. You’re just giving yourself too much stress. Just go with the flow, like always.

Jessica picked up her chopsticks and ate her meal happily while savoring the great cook’s food. Bite after bite her interest grew. How could one girl take over my mind? How could one girl kill my need for pleasure? How could one girl take down the towering walls that I’ve taken so long to build? She knew that Hyoyeon had changed her. It’s been three weeks since Jessica last had with anyone and she wasn’t ecstatic about it. She finished her meal and put the dishes in the sink. Tired from yesterday’s practice with the others in the show, she didn’t want to go down but her energy quickly revived remembering there was a hot girl waiting for her.

She opened the door and walked down. The picture wall was the first thing that caught her attention. Just like Hyoyeon’s room, there weren’t any pictures of anyone else beside the four. No parents, no relatives, just Hyoyeon, Taeyeon, Sunny and Sooyoung. She walked along the wall skimming through every picture until she saw one of herself at the bungee site. I guess I was over thinking things again. Looks like they don’t hate me.

“Ready?” Hyoyeon came out of the storage room.

“Ahhh!” Jessica jumped. “You scared me!”

Hyoyeon just shrugged. She went to the couch on the right side of the room and picked up the musical script. She scanned the script quickly to refresh her memory.

“Hey Hyo…” Jessica walked to her.

“Hmm?” Hyo said still looking at the script.

“How come you don’t have any pictures of your parents?”

As soon as Jessica muttered those few words, Hyoyeon ceased all motions. She looked at the script with eyes scrunched and a painful expression. Her grip on the paper slightly tightened. Jessica realized that her big mouth spoke of something she shouldn’t have talked about and tried to fix it.

“Uhh. Just… forget I asked.” Jessica apologized.

“It’s okay.” Hyoyeon lied to make the other feel better. “Let’s start.”

Hyoyeon slowly taught her the moves once since she couldn’t go on any longer. Her body ached from the pain two days ago. She sat on the couch and critiqued Jessica meticulously.

Tiffany walked out of the terminal with the other models that came along with her, one of them was Yuri. Fully covered from head to toe with a hat, sunglasses, a scarf, a big hoodie and skinny jeans, she walked side by side with Yuri who wore similar clothing.

“You don’t look very fashionable for a model, Fany.” Yuri laughed.

“You’re not looking so hot yourself.” Tiffany smiled.

“Okay, okay, you win.” She chuckled. “Who can blame us though? That was one hell of a long ride.”

“That’s what I’m trying to say to all those cameras. ‘ off, I’m tired.”

Yuri laughed again."Want to grab a late lunch after we get back to the office?”

“Umm…”

Tiffany wasn’t quite sure. She looked at her watch; 3pm. Sooyoung should be done with classes by now. She looked back at Yuri who was waiting for her answer when she got a text.

Chapter 50: WHY IS THIS SO GOOD? I know why, because you are an amazing writer who only gets better with each chapter and your progression of the story was very much more believable than most stories in which "they got together after first sight". You developed the characters and gave them their flaws and their strengths and how that translated into the story was amazing. It looks like Punch could be an entire spinoff/sequel story on its own, but I feel content with you not doing a sequel and that's a good thing. Its one thing to leave your readers wanting more, but to do that AND make them feel content without more is a weird paradox you accomplished. Your writing style is not the most sophisticated or fancy, but its one that allows for many readers to enjoy simply, but has enough complexity to make it leave no questions unanswered. I loved this story and can't wait to read more from you
