EDITED

Two days later Hyoyeon got up earlier than usual because she had to teach her group of students. She decided to endure and teach her class instead of having Sooyoung take over again because she felt bad for the students and her.  She opened her eyes and thought back to the things she could remember and the things she was hiding. The clock struck 7am and Hyoyeon slowly lifted herself up into a sitting position before attempting to get up. Taking a deep breath, she pushed off the bed and stood up for merely a few seconds before meeting the floor.

Jessica stirred up from Hyoyeon's fall. She slowly peeled open her eyes and saw the crippled girl on the floor. Hyoyeon quickly jerked her head up to make sure Jessica was still sleeping but saw her looking back at her. She felt bad that she woke up the sleeping princess.

"Sorry, I woke you up." She apologized while trying to get back up.

Jessica got up and helped her up. "What are you doing up so early in the morning Hyo?" she said sleepily.

"I have a class waiting for me of course. I can't leave them hanging." Hyoyeon leaned on the wall.

"I'm sure they'll understand. You're in no position to be teaching moves." Jessica went to get her crutches.

"I have to go. I feel bad. They paid for my class and Sooyoung told me I haven't been there a lot these days because I was hurt a few days before too." She frowned and scrunched her nose.

"Do you have to go?" Jessica spoke concerned for her health.

Hyoyeon just nodded like a little kid and pouted at her. Why are you so god damn cute?!  Jessica thought and took a deep breath.

"Alright, I'll come with you." She grabbed Hyoyeon's left arm and put it over her neck while she s her right arm on Hyoyeon's waist.

Hyoyeon didn't want her help but she pushed back the thought remembering why she was doing all this for. She smiled at Jessica and let her lead her to the bathroom.

“Don’t you have to practice for a musical today?” Hyoyeon looked at her.

“Just going over the stage directions and a run through. Don’t worry, it’s at 3pm and your class is in the morning.”

“Okay…”

"I'll make you breakfast while you get ready."

Just as she was about to exit the door Hyoyeon grabbed her arm and turned her back around. "No offense… but your cooking isn't that great…" she said shyly.

"Eh how is it not? I think I'm a great cook." Jessica stubbornly responded.

"Taeyeon told me to never allow you to be in the kitchen. She says that your cooking is horrible. Can we go out and eat instead?" Hyoyeon begged childishly alongside her cringe worthy aegyo.

Why is she acting like this? It's so cute. Jessica looked at her in defeat and nodded. "Okay we'll go out and eat but I'm paying."

"Fine with me!" Hyoyeon smiled.

Jessica walked out the bathroom and went back into their room to change. It's too damn early. I want to sleep. She went to her closet and picked out a set of clothes for Hyoyeon. She went back to her and left the clothes on the toilet seat cover. This is going to take some time to get used to the new Hyoyeon.

Why are you nice to me? Didn’t I put you through a lot? Is it because I saved you? Hyoyeon took a deep breath. She was disappointed in herself that she couldn't formally forgive her but since this happened already, there was nothing else she could do. She grabbed her crutches and made her way to the stairs after changing. A frown formed on her face and sat on the first step. She made her way sitting down a step every time until she finally reached the end.

Jessica grabbed Hyoyeon's bag and her purse and went to Hyoyeon about to help her.

"It's okay. I have to get used to this on my own." Hyoyeon smiled.

"But-"

"If you keep helping me then what am I going to do when you're not here anymore?" Hyoyeon made her way to the door.

Jessica stood there as those few words made their way towards her heart leaving a trail of happiness along the way. A smiled crept upon her face.

"Hey what are you doing standing there? I'm hungry!" Hyoyeon pointed to her stomach.

Jessica snapped out of her daze and walked out of the door after putting her heels on. She helped Hyoyeon into the car and drove off to grab some breakfast.

They ended up getting McDonalds through drive-thru. Instead of eating there, they decided to eat at the studio since it was a hassle getting Hyoyeon in and out of the car. Jessica grabbed the bag and let Hyoyeon go in herself.

"Want to eat in my office or on the floor?" Hyoyeon asked as she unlocked the door.

"I don't care," she shrugged.

"The floor it is then!"

Hyoyeon led Jessica to the corner of the floor and leaned on the mirror wall. Jessica felt a little awkward just eating in silence so she brought up a conversation.

"So what do you remember?"

"Umm…" Hyoyeon swallowed. "I remember everything up until I went to the club a month and half ago. I don't remember anything else after I entered those doors." She lied.

"Ohh…" Jessica contemplated on whether or not she should tell Hyoyeon about that night but decided not to, scared of Hyoyeon going back to being cold. "What about what happened two days ago?"

"Umm other than saving you from a truck, nothing else comes to mind," she said truthfully.

"So you don't remember me yelling at you?" Jessica cautiously asked. She was afraid of Hyoyeon remembering her confession.

"Umm…"

Just as Hyoyeon was about to say no, her head started throbbing. She brought her free hand to rub her temples to remedy the pain but it only got worse. She closed her eyes and leaned her head against the mirrors in pain as imag

Chapter 50: WHY IS THIS SO GOOD? I know why, because you are an amazing writer who only gets better with each chapter and your progression of the story was very much more believable than most stories in which "they got together after first sight". You developed the characters and gave them their flaws and their strengths and how that translated into the story was amazing. It looks like Punch could be an entire spinoff/sequel story on its own, but I feel content with you not doing a sequel and that's a good thing. Its one thing to leave your readers wanting more, but to do that AND make them feel content without more is a weird paradox you accomplished. Your writing style is not the most sophisticated or fancy, but its one that allows for many readers to enjoy simply, but has enough complexity to make it leave no questions unanswered. I loved this story and can't wait to read more from you
