EDITED

Hyoyeon stood there unmoving as the eyes of the four met hers with utter confusion. Her mind was surprisingly quiet. Despite all the drama she has been through the past four days, her mind remained calm but unfortunately the rise of her emotions finally broke loose.

“ no.” She hissed at Sooyoung.

“Why not Hyo?! You were fine with it when I told you two days ago!” Sooyoung walked over to Hyoyeon.

“That was before I knew it was this witch here!” Hyoyeon backed away from her.

“Hyoyeon! Watch your words!” Taeyeon stood up.

“Why the should I?" Hyoyeon yelled full of anger.

All the while, Jessica just sat there unsure of what to do. She couldn’t find the confidence to clear up the situation. Her mind was at a loss as she watched the girl she hurt, boil with overwhelming emotions.

“She’s our guest, Hyoyeon!” Taeyeon yelled back.

“If she’s living here then I’m moving out!”

Hyoyeon walked to the stairs with heavy strides but before she could step foot on the staircase, Taeyeon grabbed her arm and pulled her face to face.

“What the ’s wrong with you?!” Taeyeon asked.

“What’s wrong with me?! Why don’t you ask her!” Hyoyeon spit.

Taeyeon looked back at Jessica still holding on tight to Hyoyeon’s arm. Surprised by the sudden need to talk, Jessica stumbled trying to stand.

“Well?” Taeyeon calmed her voice.

“I-I…” Jessica failed to find the right words.

“That’s the girl who ed me over. Are you happy now?!” Hyoyeon flung her sisters arm off of hers.

She went up the stairs with flames surrounding her fuming state. She reached her room, aggressively packed her things into her duffel bag and stormed out of the house without speaking a word to the four. She threw her things into the back seat and aimlessly drove off into the night without direction. Only anger and resentment flooded her senses as she disappeared into the night sky.

Back at the house, they were all thrown into confusion from Hyoyeon’s terrible condition. Taeyeon sat back down besides Sunny, holding her head from the painful throbs coming from all sides. Sooyoung sat next to Jessica on the other couch facing the kitchen. The house was covered with a blanket of silence as all four of them calculated their next move.

“Explain yourself.” Taeyeon broke the stillness. She looked at her with disappointment.

“M-My friend noticed her and wanted to make a bet with me which I accepted. I told him to put that in her drink and I’d do the rest.” Jessica played with her fi

Chapter 50: WHY IS THIS SO GOOD? I know why, because you are an amazing writer who only gets better with each chapter and your progression of the story was very much more believable than most stories in which "they got together after first sight". You developed the characters and gave them their flaws and their strengths and how that translated into the story was amazing. It looks like Punch could be an entire spinoff/sequel story on its own, but I feel content with you not doing a sequel and that's a good thing. Its one thing to leave your readers wanting more, but to do that AND make them feel content without more is a weird paradox you accomplished. Your writing style is not the most sophisticated or fancy, but its one that allows for many readers to enjoy simply, but has enough complexity to make it leave no questions unanswered. I loved this story and can't wait to read more from you
