EDITED

Sooyoung followed Kyuhyun out of the building. She couldn't help but be concerned for her girlfriend, who stormed out of the room unwillingly. She saw Yuri pass her as she walked out of the front door and couldn't help but think. Why is she going back in? I thought she got off work? She paused for a moment right outside the door and turned back to see where the tanned girl was going. She suddenly saw a defeated looking girl walking out of the hall way with someone's arm over her shoulder. Out of impulsion, Sooyoung quickly hid behind a bush near her and continued watching. Wait, why am I hiding? Her thoughts were cut short when Kyuhyun turned around opening his mouth.

"Hey what are you doi-" Sooyoung grabbed his arm and pulled him behind her before he could finish his sentence.

"Shhh." She quickly pulled her index finger up to signaling him to shut up. She brought her attention back to her girlfriend who just walked out the door. What are they doing? Sooyoung questioned as she saw them stop right outside the door and quietly listened.

"Yuri." Tiffany gently brushed the taller girl's arm off her shoulders and turned to face her.

"What's wrong? You suddenly called me to come back after saying you were busy?" Yuri looked at her concerned.

"It's nothing." Tiffany let out her signature smile. "Let's just grab something to eat yeah? I'm starving."

"Tiffany, how long have I known you for? We both know that you wear your emotions on your sleeves." she furrowed her eyebrows.

"I know. " She sighed in defeat. " And we both know that I don’t like talking about them either."

"True true, alright. What do you feel like eating? I'll pay." Yuri broke out a comforting smile which contagiously made Tiffany smile in the process.

"Surprise me." Tiffany let out her aegyo.

They both walked towards the parking lot but Tiffany slowly walked away from Yuri towards another direction. "Where you going?" Yuri lightly grabbed her wrist turning her back.

"My car?" Tiffany lifted her right eyebrow up.

"We could just go in my car. It'll save gas and the trouble." she suggested.

"I'd love too, but I need my car to come to work tomorrow."

Unaware of the situation at hand, Yuri obliviously proposed a well unneeded suggestion. "Why don't you just hit up Sooyoung and have her pick you up for work tomorrow? She's working at the same company as us now anyways right?" Tiffany instantly scrunched her eyebrows at the mention of the girlfriend she was currently very upset with.

Picking up the slight uncomfort Tiffany displayed, Yuri quickly registered why. "Oh... my bad." She rubbed the crook of her neck in embarrassment. "I guess we'll meet up at the restaurant.  Just follow my car alright?"

"Okay." She smiled and continued to walk to her car.

Sooyoung heard the beginning of the conversation but didn't hear their plans of eating out. She turned back to Kyuhyun a bit disheartened. He felt concerned and decided to attempt to console the saddened Janshin. "Hey, is everything okay?"

"Yeah. It's all good." She broke out a fake smile.

"Why were you spying on your friend?" He stood up and headed for his car.

"It's nothing, so where are we eating?" She entered the opened passenger seat door.

He closed the door politely and hastily went around the car and entered the driver seat. "It's a really popular place. I got a lot of recommendations from my friends to go there."

"Oh okay. Could you drop me off back here? I need my bike for tomorrow."

"Sure!" He smiled again.

Kyuhyun the engine and drove off into the city. As the city lights whizzed past the window, Sooyoung's train of thought was filled with concern. Kyuhyun attempted at creating a steady and light hearted conversation but after a few minutes of single-worded responses and simple nods, he took the signal and let Sooyoung think undisturbed. Where are they going? Sooyoung saw a warm-hearted couple holding hands as they walked down the street through his window. I hope you're okay Fany.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard him park the car in the parking lot of a very nice Italian restaurant. She opened the door and got out. He came around and offered his arm accompanied with a warm smile. She didn't want to seem rude, so she poked her arm through his and let him lead the way into the restaurant.

The waiter approached them and politely spoke. "Hello, do you have a reservation?"

"No, I'm sorry. Are there any tables available though?" Kyuhyun apologized.

"Let me check our reserved list." He walked back to the podium leaving the two awkwardly standing at the front watching other people being seated.

"Sorry. I didn't know we needed a reservation." He tilted his head and whispered to her.

"It's okay." She muttered back.

The waiter came back with a smile. "You're in luck, I just received a call from a customer and she canceled her reservation." He took out two menus from the podium and signaled the direction. "Right this way please."

They ended up seated right in the middle of the resta

Chapter 50: WHY IS THIS SO GOOD? I know why, because you are an amazing writer who only gets better with each chapter and your progression of the story was very much more believable than most stories in which "they got together after first sight". You developed the characters and gave them their flaws and their strengths and how that translated into the story was amazing. It looks like Punch could be an entire spinoff/sequel story on its own, but I feel content with you not doing a sequel and that's a good thing. Its one thing to leave your readers wanting more, but to do that AND make them feel content without more is a weird paradox you accomplished. Your writing style is not the most sophisticated or fancy, but its one that allows for many readers to enjoy simply, but has enough complexity to make it leave no questions unanswered. I loved this story and can't wait to read more from you
