The Beach
What am I?
EDITED
“I’m here!” Tiffany opened the door and ran through the hallway.
Sooyoung smiled at her and finished teaching her class. The girls bowed and left the studio. Full of sweat from endlessly teaching difficult routines, she fell to the floor and sat with a bottle in her hands. Tiffany came and sat beside her giving her a kiss on the check.
“I’m sweaty, Fany.” Sooyoung teased.
“I don’t care!” Tiffany flashed a smile.
“So, what do you want to do?” Sooyoung turned and sat in front of her.
“The beach, remember?”
“Oh right! Let me take a shower and we’ll go.” Sooyoung got up and went to their office, which had a small shower.
“Can I help?!” Tiffany got up and yelled after her.
“No!” Sooyoung yelled as she locked the door
Sooyoung finished her shower and came out to a very displeased girlfriend. Intended to make the taller girl guilty, Tiffany sat on her chair with arms crossed and pouting lips but Sooyoung just laughed at her childish girlfriend instead. To appease her, Sooyoung bent down and lightly kissed her pouting lips. Unhappy with what was given, she quickly wrapped her arms around Sooyoung’s neck and deepened their kiss.
“Someone’s impatient.” Sooyoung chuckled as she broke free for air.
“Your fault for making we wait so long.” Tiffany stuck her tongue out.
“Plenty of time for that later.”
Sooyoung grabbed her things and headed out the door. Tiffany grabbed her arm and clung on. They went in Tiffany’s car since Sooyoung’s bike couldn’t carry any luggage. Despite the long day Sooyoung had, she opened the driver side door and got in. Without complaint, Tiffany got in on the other side and they headed for the beach not too far away from Hyoyeon’s studio.
Not long after driving they arrived at the beach as the sun was about to set on the horizon. The colors of the sun rained orange and yellow on the distant ocean. Tiffany got out of the car and walked slowly towards the ocean embracing the beauty that lay before her. She closed her eyes and spread her arms out wide to feel the slight breeze of the fresh ocean air. Sooyoung who was still taking out their things from the trunk drew her attention to the lone figure and chuckled at the sight as it reminded her of the classic movies. In an attempt to bring those movies to life, she put the things down beside her and walked ever so slowly towards her, careful not to make her turn around.
Centimeters away from Tiffany, Sooyoung stood behind her and wrapped her long arms around her waist. Not even slightly startled at her girlfriend’s actions as if she was waiting for her, Tiffany smiled and brought her hands down and held the arms around her.
“Did you stand here just for me to do that?” Sooyoung brought her head down and rested it on the shoulders of the girl in front of her.
“No! I was taking in the beautiful view!” Tiffany defended.
“Eh. It’s nothing special. I’ve seen better.” Sooyoung let go of her and grabbed the things on the ground.
“How could you not soak in such an awesome view?!” Tiffany said as she followed her towards the sand.
“Like I said before, I’ve seen better.” Sooyoung said while laying the blanket down on the sand.
Sooyoung sat in the middle of the blanket and brought out another from her bag. Confused at the girl just standing on her right, she patted in the empty spa
