EDITED

The sun rose and its rays broke through the soft white curtains that loosely hung from the ceiling. A few weeks have passed.  The digital clock flashed 10am, Saturday. Two bodies shifted their position in an attempt to escape the sun's blinding rays. The shorter girl dug her face into the other's neck to avoid the annoying light trails emitted into the room. She shifted herself until she was comfortably between the latter's arms. Much to their disappointment, the phone went off earning an irritated grunt from the light brown haired girl. She blindly stretched her arm out, searching for the device responsible for disturbing their peaceful sleep. The younger girl grunted as well.

"Tae, turn it off," Sunny whined.

"I'm trying," Taeyeon responded sluggishly.

"It's not the alarm, Tae. It's your damn phone," Sunny groan hearing the slamming of the alarm button.

"I knew that." She grabbed the phone and answered it with eyes still closed, "hello?"

"Hey Boss! You coming to work today?"

"It's Saturday Leeteuk. Why the hell would I come?" A hint of annoyance was present.

"Well… cause the people are here to talk about the final contents on our contract," he responded confused.

"WHAT?!" Taeyeon shot up from the bed temporarily forgetting her girlfriend was in her arms.

"Ow. That hurt, Tae." Sunny pouted while rubbing her head.

"Sorry, babe!" Taeyeon quickly kissed the spot Sunny rubbed and followed it by a deep kiss to the lips. She quickly ran into the closet. "Tell them I'll be there in twenty. Serve them a meal while they wait. Anything they want!"

"You got it boss!" Leeteuk hung up.

Why the hell are they there?! We scheduled it for Monday! Taeyeon mentally cursed the men waiting at her restaurant while going into the bathroom after changing. Sunny got up from the bed and went to the toilet.

"What was that all about?" Sunny asked while taking off her cotton shorts and rubbed her eyes.

"The people we are talking to about expanding, came today instead of Monday," Taeyeon spoke with her toothbrush in .

"Oh. Well tell me how it goes. I'm going back to bed," Sunny gave a quick peck on Taeyeon's cheek and crawled back into the covers.

Taeyeon hastily washed her face, throwing out the chance to put on makeup due to the lack of time. She grabbed her phone off the bed stand, gave Sunny another quick kiss and bolted out the door, unintentionally slamming it on the way out. Her hands swiftly swept the keys off the kitchen counter, as she shoved her feet into her shoes and opened the door. Another slam was heard from upstairs. Sunny let out a small chuckle at her girlfriend rushing.

Meanwhile Sooyoung was stirred awake from the obnoxiously loud door slams Taeyeon left on her way out. She peeled open her right eye and looked over the top of Tiffany's head at the clock. She sighed and decided to get up and attempt to go out for a little jog while Tiffany continued sleeping. Her arm carefully slid from under Tiffany's head hoping it wouldn't wake her up but to her failed attempts, Tiffany flinched from the absence of her pillow. Sooyoung held her breath hoping she would go back to sleep but was graced with sleepy eyes looking back at her confused.

"Morning," Tiffany rubbed her eyes.

"Morning," Sooyoung smiled back.

"Where you going?" she asked.

"Well, I was thinking about going for a jog," Sooyoung combed Tiffany's bangs with her fingers.

"That will remain a thought," Tiffany snuggled up to her.

"Fany, it's 10am. We should wake up," she rubbed the girl's left arm.

"We got off of work at 2am yesterday. Let me sleep more please," she whined into Sooyoung's chest.

"Okay, I'll go for a jog and wake you up when I come back," she kissed Tiffany's forehead and started to get out of bed when Tiffany lifted her legs on top of Sooyuong's and her arms hugging her tight.

"No," Tiffany tightened her grip.

Sooyoung sighed and gave into her princess' needs. "Okay." Tiffany smiled widely while Sooyoung kissed the crown of her head.

In the other room Hyoyeon and Jessica were sound asleep with the covers around their legs. Hyoyeon had her arms and legs spread out while Jessica was curled up into a ball on Hyoyeon's left side. Their relationship has improved tremendously since the first few days. Hyoyeon no longer had questions about the strange feelings that began to form within her understanding that whatever it was, was something she wanted to continue feeling. Even though walking around in public with Jessica's hand in hers is still awkward for her, she no longer flings the latter's hand out of hers or retract her arms into her pockets or behind her back. Other things became routinely as well. Lately, as the days pass by, she feels a little emptier when she didn't see Jessica for a few hours.

Jessica on the other hand loved how their relationship has been prospering but wanted it to go faster. She wanted Hyoyeon to kiss her when she came home or when she felt sad and tired but Hyoyeon still felt uncomfortable. For the time being, she has only been receiving pecks on the cheek and nose. Even though Jessica can see Hyoyeon warming up to the idea of liking a girl, she couldn't help but feel frustrated sometimes when Hyoyeon didn't capture her lips. Hyoyeon wanted to try but wasn't sure on how to start or when the right times were.

The alarm clock rang at its set time of 10:30am. Hyoyeon slowly woke up from the constant beeping and buzzing. She gently shook awake the girl on her left side. Jessica wasn't ready to wake up, let alone go on a lunch date with Tiffany. She shook her head and pouted.

"Turn it off, Hyorengi." Jessica whined.

"It's on your side, Sica. You turn it off," Hyoyeon countered.

"I don't want to," she scooted herself and dug her face into Hyoyeon's chest while her arms wrapped around her.

"Alright," she sighed.

Hyoyeon leaned over to turn the alarm off but she couldn't reach. She sighed again and lifted her right leg over Jessica and unintentionally straddled the older girl causing her to blush. Her hand hit the top of the clock and its annoying beeping ceased. She looked down and saw the current positioned they were in and blushed while retracting herself back to her previous position.

"Sorry," Hyoyeon sheepishly apologized but Jessica shook her head.

Jessica came closer and smiled. Her eyes closed and she went back into Hyoyeon's arms. Hyoyeon looked down at the crown of Jessica's head and instantly felt regretful. Was that a good time? She debated if she missed the window of opportunity. Well, there should never be a bad time for a kiss right? A frown formed on her lips thinking about it. Do I even have enough courage for this? She shook her head throwing away the possibility of doubting her own confidence. Just do it. She took a deep breath and exhaled. She backed away from Jessica causing the older girl to frown. Jessica looked up to see why Hyoyeon pulled away but before she could mutter a word, Hyoyeon's soft lips gently met hers. Shocked at the sudden kiss, Jessica laid there motionless but by the time she came back to her senses, Hyoyeon's already left her lips. Jessica felt the butterflies in her stomach flutter faster than ever before. She didn't know what else to do, so she hid her blushing and embarrassed face in Hyoyeon's chest once more.

Hyoyeon chuckled a little but was happy she did what she did. "Sica, wake up, you have to get ready for your outting with Fany," she lightly shook Jessica's arm.

"I don’t want to," she shook her head. "I want to sleep," she mumbled into Hyoyeon's chest.

"I know you can't sleep now, so might as well get up." Hyoyeon grinned victoriously.

Jessica punched her in the stomach, "shut up."

"Ouch!" She brought her arm that was around Jessica, down to rub her abused stomach. "If that’s wh

Chapter 50: WHY IS THIS SO GOOD? I know why, because you are an amazing writer who only gets better with each chapter and your progression of the story was very much more believable than most stories in which "they got together after first sight". You developed the characters and gave them their flaws and their strengths and how that translated into the story was amazing. It looks like Punch could be an entire spinoff/sequel story on its own, but I feel content with you not doing a sequel and that's a good thing. Its one thing to leave your readers wanting more, but to do that AND make them feel content without more is a weird paradox you accomplished. Your writing style is not the most sophisticated or fancy, but its one that allows for many readers to enjoy simply, but has enough complexity to make it leave no questions unanswered. I loved this story and can't wait to read more from you
