▬ Chapter 12: Winners ▬

I casually strolled into the school when I noticed people were rushing to get in. I looked around aimlessly as I wondered what all the commotion was about. I stopped for a moment and tilted my head a bit to the right, thinking of what the occasion might be.

“Ah! Now I remember!” As soon as I realized it, I began to pick up my pace. I forgot that today was the day they would post up the winners for the Concerto.

I smuggled my way through the pile of other students to see the bulletin clearly. I searched and searched and finally, I saw the list of names.

Note: Since there were a lot more students who stunned the judges than expected, this year, the number of winners was unanimously raised to ten.

I gasped as I saw my name. OMG, I made it! I thought my performance but I made it! Although I was ecstatic, some were crying and some were even furious that they didn’t get chosen. I felt sorry for them but my mind was still in Lala land.

“Kwon Minhyeol,” I said as I regained my composure. “I haven’t met her yet.”

Suddenly, a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist and carried me up.

“Wah!” I shrieked.

“Annhee!” I heard Sunggyu oppa’s voice. “We did it!”

“Neh!” I chuckled.

“I envy their relationship,” someone sighed.

“They look so close.” A girl commented.

“Do you want to celebrate tonight?” he asked as he put me down.

“Sure! Where are we going, oppa?” 

Sunggyu held a finger to his lips as he winked and whispered, “It’s a secret.”

“Yah, why do you keep doing that oppa? I wana know!”

“Hehe. We’re going to go somewhere with the others so I’ll pick you up later, arraso?”

“All right,” I sighed as I slumped my shoulders. Sunggyu never reveals his secrets.

“Just dress casually.” He pointed out a finger. “And don’t you dare wear something revealing.”

“Waeyo~?” I teased.

“Yah, Kim Annhee, I did not raise you like this.”

I let out a low laugh as I headed towards my first period class. “Neh~”
